Idunno. I'm just making giant pillars of fire as a beacon. So that when I explore. There is a giant 60 block+ high pillar of lava guiding me home. However unfortunately my giant floating castle with a giant lava pit underneath it is in fact doable... It's just going to take forever... =_= I wonder if ganondorf or bowser are selling their excess lava?

(Instantly pictures a used lava saleslady that's a Gerudo thief. That actually sounds like a goofy RP I might set up at some point. Kinda campy funny but still a touch of grim dark... dark humor... How I love you.)

If you're speaking in a hyborian context everyone is pretty equally capable of douche baggery. The Aesier or Nordheimer believe that heaven is achieved in a glorious viking death. The stygian are definitively religious fanatics arch typically; their religious fanaticism belongs to a corrupted demon god however. The Aquilonian are the roman empire essentially of their time. So anything from that conglomorate run the whole spectrum of the human condition. A vicious politician is just as likely a villain. The Khitan have Wizard Kings that run the run the whole board as well. Some are benevolent whiles others are not at all. Khitan is also sort of a generalized for 'asian' not really specific at all. So it depends on the kind of Khitani influenced culture you want as well. Where as I picture some sort of curly haired Zingaran seductress with slightly tanned skin almost looking like an arch typical pirate (-ess?).

There is the whole rainbow of colors you can run with additional shades as well. Spiritually influenced births from the elemental to spiritual aspects are influenced as well. I once played a south islander canabal chiquita. Her teeth were culturally sharpened but she'd been a slave for so long. However more importantly was the aspect of death. The dead would occasionally talk to her. She learned fighting as a gladiatorial slave so she was comfortable with fighting with simple weapons. So she ran around with a giant iron shod staff and beat people into a pulp kind of angry amazonian style. As soft iron is prone to flexing instead of shattering much like wood in a way. I had another character a Kothic special forces themed bandit that moved away from Koth because his sister was accused of being a witch. Rightfully so, her auspicious birth was influenced by the elemental plane of fire. Ever so often she would set swaths of s**t on fire. So he learned herbalism and started apprenticing as a healer. He was very bitter over this fact until the rest of the party wondered over him and 'conscripted' him.

This is all however to illustrate the kind of range the players have for choice in race. While the low level sorcerers could be theoretically contested as mere magicians and parlor tricks a high end sorcerer is something of awful fel power. At epic level they do equally horrific things.
