What us everyone thinking now that some of us have seen it? I know there are still some who haven't so I'm not going to expect a huge response to this yet.

I, personally, thought this movie was beautifully done. My favorite of the Yates progression. I cried at times (death of favored characters doesn't sit well). I was confused due to the utter lack of some scenes shown in the trailers that were not in fact in the movie at all. I handled the awkward pairing scenes (because really they were random and awkward) and swallowed what I could of the epilogue. Overall, I loved it. I sad that it's over. I really don't know how I will handle not having it to anticipate anymore, but I guess I'll just have to own everything so I can watch/read at my leisure from now on.

I loved it, but they did some things wrong. Like the Hermione/Ron kiss. Ron was supposed to mention the elves and then Hermione kisses him. I was kind of looking forward to Harry being all awkward and watching, but that didn't happen. Although I did like the part where Ginny is battling Bellatrix and Molly steps in and says "NOT MY DAUGHTER YOU B*TCH!" And, like HermioneTwin, I cried. Like, a lot. At all the deaths, and when Harry talks to his parents, Lupin, and Sirius, and countless other times. All in all, I really enjoyed it.

I liked the movie. Any scene Alan Rickman was in was HIS scene, I mean the guy is amazing!
I started crying at Snape's death scene (which was so brutal), and his memories, but I completely started bawling when Harry was in the forest with his loved ones. Oh god. It was a beautifully fantastic film.

I think Yates did a wonderful job and I was very pleased overall. As with all of the movies, there were differences but I can look past them. I know I will go to see it more times and I cannot wait to have a complete set of the movies. For now....well, I'm going to wait until the 31st for more information on Pottermore.

I thought it was amazing! I had gotten really sad when Snape (my favorite character) had died. Snape's memories had also made me sad. The death of many of Harry's friends (Lupin, Dora, Fred, etc.) also made me sad. I loved it when McGonagall said "I always wanted to use that spell." That was so funny! Another funny scene was when Filch was running and yelling "Children out of bed! Children in the corridors!" and then McGonnagal's response. XD

I watched it in both 2D and 3D. The 3D version was amazing! Everything looked so real!

@Amulet: There's still plenty of time before it leaves the theaters. biggrin

@Suspicious Liquid: The movies never mentioned that Hogwarts had house elves, so if they had suddenly been mentioned in this one, those who have not read the books would be confused.

Another thing I wonder is why they never mentioned that Lupin had a baby with the exception of that scene in the forest. Those who had not read the books were probably confused, since the only way the movies revealed that Lupin and Tonks had gotten married was through a comment Tonks had made in the first part, and you had to pay attention (i didn't notice who had commented about having a jokester husband the first time I watched the first one... and it was quick, Tonks had tried to tell Harry, but Mad-Eye interrupted and they never mentioned it again...), and the wedding band Tonks was wearing in the final movie, and there was otherwise no mention of Tonks even being pregnant, let alone having had a son before that scene.

I watched it for the third time yesterday with my best friend and my mom. This was my second time watching it in 3D. biggrin It was still awesome!

@mrs-lestrange, if they put absolutely everything that was in the book in the movie, the movie would have probably been at least 3 or so parts long, though we would still watch all the parts lol.

I cried at Snape's death and his memories, and at Fred's, Tonks' and Lupin's deaths. I then full on bawled into my friend's scarf when I saw Sirius.

I loved McGonagall in that film! She managed to be funny in the time of crisis :3

Overall, I absolutely loved it. I cried quite a bit too and nearly broke my friend's hand during Snape's death scene. The Prince's Tale part was so amazing and probably my favorite. But there were some little things (little Lily Evans' eyes were brown? the fact that Hogsmeade was covered in snow and nowhere else was? Harry never mended his phoenix wand? lack of mention of Teddy till the end?) that bugged me a LOT. But seriously? Probably my favorite of the movies ^^

God, I cried so hard during HGP2. I just didn't keep it together during the Resurrection stone.

I was most concerned with how much of Snape's pensieve would they do. He has been my favorite character from early in the series, and he hasn't gotten the screen time he should have (but I get it, more important plot things to cover.) But when it came time for his death and the memory scene....OH. MY. GOSH. It was perfect. I was completely bawling. The movie had been amazing the whole time I was watching it, but from that point on it became the msot amazing Harry Potter film of the series.

There isn't anything that comes to mind that I didn't like. Also I did enjoy the moments of humor mixed in with the battle and such.

I just adored DH2.
I, as always, am a bit...peeved that they cut out so much back story, and we didn't get any sexy Gellert stuff, and all the little edits that irked me and whatever.

But I cried. I cried a lot during this movie. The emotion is spot on the whole time.

We all know that you're an Albus and Gellert fan, Ren. So that's quite understandable. rofl

So, the Deathly Hallows film... Let's see. I think it was very, very good! I did not cry or bawl or whatever but there was one scene that made me watery eyed. This was the scene when Snape cradled the lifeless body of Lily... and top it off with the "Dumbledore's Farewell" track, gawd...

Of course, I expected much of the Snape and McGonagall duel but the film's portrayal was very good, too. I liked McGonagall's face that was like, "This is enough! This time, we're fighting!" as she sent those flame spells at Snape, who (unfortunately) was unable to do nothing than deflect the spells and hit Amycus and Alecto. Hahaha! I also loved every scene with McGonagall and her "Piertotum Locomotor" one.

And the PROTEGO MAXIMA. Gawd. One of the most awesome shield magic I've seen in all films!
