Dyste had recently journeyed to the floating isle with her brother, and after escaping an almost immediate encounter with two of the Six, he had insisted upon training long and hard to become strong enough to never have to be rescued by his twin again. Still, he wouldn't let her out range him by more than a day, and more often than not he found her before nightfall, where they spent the most dangerous hours together.
She was pleased that he had learned his lesson, but at the same time felt somewhat trapped and stifled by all of the attention. After all, he had been the one to go get captured, not her! Fighting a stubborn independent streak, she had wandered off early this morning to go find some decent grazing before her brother ate all of the best bits. She was really quite pleased with herself and was grazing happily.

Thalion awoke early as usual and sighed irritably. "Where is that stable boy?" he muttered angrily. "I must have my morning routine if my day is to be set right" he spat out. Tired of waiting Thalion decided to go out and graze in a area he knew that had lovely prime bits of grass. Galloping swiftly he approached his secret spot to relax and enjoy the peace, the quiet and most of all the succulent grass. Arriving quickly he trotted over to begin to graze when movement caught his attention from the corner of his eye. Unaccustomed to seeing any other creature in his secret spot Thalion became alarmed and unnerved. Narrowing his eyes and baring his teeth he awaited. Suddenly he realized it was a lovely female azrein who was grazing happilly not to far from him. Feeling extremely embarassed Thalion started to back away when all of a sudden....

((All of a sudden............?))
The pounding of galloping hooves was felt under her own and Dyste looked up, almost instantly regretting running off from her brother. She squared herself in the direction of the approaching Azrein and wasn't at all relieved when he bared his teeth. However, when he noticed her, he seemed to relax slightly, and seemed almost embarrassed. Had she trespassed on his preferred grounds? She backed away, hesitant to turn her back on the stranger, especially since she wasn't too sure of his emotional build. Still, everyone they had stopped said they were getting closer to the castle, so she was hoping agents of the Six were less likely here.
Hesitantly, she neighed out a greeting, the two still quite far from each other at the moment. Her ears were about half way back to her head, showing that he had unsettled her mildly. She may be small for a mare, but she could be fiesty when she needed to be. Reminding herself of how she had tricked the two of the Six had bolstered her confidence and she was much more ready to face this stallion.

Thalion stood still sizing up the female as she neighed her greeting. From her posture he can tell she was somewhat uncomfortable. "I wonder where she comes from I do not recgonize her" he thought to himself. "Agents of the Six have become extremely intelligent of late must be on my utmost guard with her not allowing her beauty to override my judgement". he muttered. Thalion relaxed his body dipping his head slightly to put the mare more at ease. He spoke in a authorative but soft voice "My name is Thalion, Who are you and why are you here?" he asked. While awaiting her answer Thalion studied her intently trying to get a read on her. Thalion sensed something was there but he just could not grasp it.

Yup, definitely intruded on something, that was for sure. What, she wasn't sure. Borders to the castle? No, he didn't seem like a guard. Maybe her first guess had been correct then. He muttered something, but she didn't quite catch it, and figured that had been rather exactly the point.
The relaxing of his body posture made her feel a bit better, though she did not yet relax hers, being interrogated as she was. I'm Dyste. My brother and I are new to the Floating Isle, and have already been attacked by two agents of the Six. We were making our way towards the castle, and I just left a bit early to get some grazing in before he ate all the good grasses she explained honestly, green eyes meeting his own. She relaxed her posture only slightly, still rather ready to bolt if he decided her answer was insufficient.

Thalion stood awaiting when suddenly the mare spoke. Startling Thalion out of his reveire he stated "Oh very well you are near the castle grounds it is not far away from here. I come here to graze unimpeded by the others and not accustomed to any other creature let alone an azrein to be here." he said. Raising his head slightly he allowed his entire body to relax into a non threatening pose. "You will be safe inside the castle walls. The King takes care of those who are loyal to him. If you wish to go I can show you the way but I believe you stated you did not travel alone. A brother was it not? May I inquire as to where he may be?" he asked. Thalion was scanning the surrounding area for the male azrein in case of this being a trap but found no signs of him anywhere. Slowly bringing his eyes back to the mare he awaited her answer.

Dyste started to relax slightly as the stallion relaxed, though her guard wasn't entirely down. After having to rescue her brother, it seemed she lived with more wariness and suspicion now, though it didn't temper her general nature once she got to know someone. She wasn't at all sure about this living in walls business, but she wouldn't shoot it down until she knew more about it.
Yes, my brother. He's still sleeping, last I checked. You said we are very near - would we be able to go and then I can turn back to fetch my brother once he's had his morning grazing? she asked, rather enjoying her freedom and feeling a bit rebellious.
