This is a game, but not a freebie.Cost to winners - 15k Starts - Now Ends - Friday July 22 Welcome to the christmas orphanage, we have four children with us here today all of a different race for you to help provide a home for. (These children are growing pets, the shop activity rule however applies to their growth.) When you post your prompt, please note what pet you are trying for, and what prompt you used. Noct Prompt You are a noct, one who it is easy to find a home for as your race is the dominant here on the island. Are you excited to find a new home and have a new take at life? Or will you miss the orphanage, your time here and the friends you have made if you move too far apart? Human Prompt You are a human, bottom of the barrel as far as most are concerned, though some may say not as low as the halfbreed. A mutt of tainted blood. Tainted by human blood. You are probably the hardest to find a home for, most won't even look your way. Do you hold your head up in hopes of a home? Or shy away and remain in the feeling of being unwanted? Halfbreed Prompt You are a halfbreed, a mutt who is neither human or noct. Though the noct in you tends you place you a step above a human. While not as hard to find a home for many look at you and see the human blood and instantly frown. Your ideal parents, do the accept you simply for you? Or because they are of the few noct who support the connection between human and noct. Free Prompt Can't think of anything for your races prompt? Just give us your orphan's thoughts then on the first day home.

Entering for-Noct Male Prompt-Noct prompt
Solaris was sitting on his bed in the orphanage. He was cuddled up close to his lion toy and was looking at the new hole that would need to be fixed soon. He had been here a while already and his toy had gotten a lot of patches added to him already. Relion was his special toy that he had gotten from his parents before they had died and he had come here to this scary place. He didn't like to be watched by all the people here! He didn't like to be paraded around like a slab of meat.
But he wanted a home so badly. He wanted to have new parents and he wanted to find someone to take him home and give him a nice place to be a kid. He sighed and reached into the drawer by his bed that he kept scraps of fabric in and his needle and thread. He found a scrap that fit over the hole in Relion and he started sewing it onto the stuffed lion.
Yami was looking for something to help her and Deus life out. She wanted kids, but she wasn't ready to have children right now so she wanted to adopt one. She walked along telling the staff she wanted to see the kids with out the others around and to find one that would fit with her and her love. She saw a red one with blond hair sitting on his bed and sewing. She walked over, captivated by his pretty floppy ears more then she was about his sewing. "Hello there. Whats your name?" she asked him with a smile as she sat on the edge of the bed. She watched him happily as he put the patch on the lion. Solaris looked up when a woman walked over and sat on his bed. "Oh...um my name is Solaris and its nice to meet you." he said softly as he tied off the patch and broke the string. "Are you looking for a son?" he asked softly as he looked at her. She seemed nice. She seemed to really be interested in him but he didn't want to get his hopes up over anything. Yami smiled at him and nodded. "Its nice to meet you Solaris. I'm Yami and yes I'm looking for a child, a son would be welcome for sure. I'm not very girly as it were and my mate wouldn't mind getting a son I'm sure. Did you put all those patches on him? And fix your sweater your self?" she asked him as she smiled and looked over him with a smile. Solaris watched her and nodded. "Yus i did. I like to sew. Its nice. I made one of the others a shirt from two different shirts that were too small for him." he said as he watched her and snuggled Relion after putting the needle and thread away. "What do you do?" he asked with a smile as he curled his tail into his lap, wings settled on his back nicely.
Yami smiled at him and they started talking. Solaris was happy. He hadn't felt this excited about getting adopted before! He had just thought that he would be along all the time and that he would never have a family again. But this one...she seemed nice and seemed like she might make a good new mother for him. He talked with her and told her about his plans and his dream of being a clothing designer when he was older. She said that it would be very easy to do and she would help him. She told him to get his stuff together and she would go start on her paperwork for her to take him home. She smiled as he hugged her with how excited he was over having a home.
Yami headed down stairs and set up the paperwork. She was looking forward to it as she called Deu on her cell phone and told him that she was bringing home a new addition to the family. He seemed excited about it and she smiled as she told him about Solaris while she finished with the paper work and Solaris stood at the door with a bag and a backpack. She smiled and soon they had finished and she took him home. Solaris had a home now! He was going to live with his new parents and he was going to be loved. They would be ok with what he wanted to do with his life as he grew older. This was the star of something perfect for him and he was so excited now to be going home, to his new home.

Male Noc
Jessie sighed and stared up at his rooms ceiling. Today was another adoption day, and he was hiding. He always got turned down, people thought him odd or something. Tugging at his lion, he cuddled against it looking at the odd patches. He liked them, the woman who handed out the gifts was going to take it and give him something else. However he quickly clutched the stuffed toy to him and shook his head, refusing to give up his toy for some newer looking tiger. Everyone got toys on Christmas, donations to the orphanage. He liked the lion, it was different.
That was a few days ago and now today people came in looking for cute kittens to adopt. He was a bit old to get adopted; people bypassed him for younger kittens. Tugging at a flopped over ear he frowned and looked to his door that was opened without a knock. In walks in the biggest male he had ever seen. Cheetah colored fur and gleaming red eyes that looked over the room with dislike before landing on him and blinking. “Would you like to get out of here? No more walls, no more people telling you not to hit or hiss because it’s mean.” His voice was like liquid fire that had his fur fluffing.
“Come then kitten, say what you want. Come with me, or stay here in human walls.” The way he said human was like a whip whistling through the air before it cracked down. This Noc scared him, yet there was something of him that purred over his fur. “What’s your name kid?” The man was stern Jessie knew he would be a harsh teacher if he ever was one. “Jessie, but people just call me Jes.” The name seemed to please him for his tail wagged causing him to wag his own. “Come on then kid, pack your stuff.” With that he left. No more asking, it was like he was being bought like some pet. Somehow he didn’t mind.
Jumping off the bed he moved through his small room and started to pack his ragged clothes and toys from years before. He had been there a long time, he had a brother of sorts but he got adopted. Now with the prospect of leaving, he looked at the walls around him and the small simple bed. He would miss it. It had been his home since forever, and he had some friends here and people who liked him well enough. He had memories here, some not so good but a few were nice. Looking at his lion on the bed, he scooped him up and his small bag and ran from the room to the front room. He read lots of books, when people left their homes they had an adventure. Not always good, or what they expected; but it was something new.
The woman at the front made him sit beside the male for a bit, asking if he wanted to go with him and such. “Jessie here has had some problems in the past.” The woman frowned softly at him and Jes looked away unhappily. Why did she always do this! She didn’t like him; he had once asked her why she dyed her fur to make it brighter. Since then she was always stopping people adopting him, telling them stories of what went on here. “He is often getting in fights with other children, and he is always the one to start them.” Lies, he never started them. He was simple small and skinny so the other bigger kittens picked on him then when found out said he started it.
“He has also broken windows and flown onto the roof refusing to come down.” Liar, he had flown up to hide from Brut who had thrown him at a window. The male was huge for his age and really strong. He had a bad temper. “Another young male complained of unwanted advances from Jes here.” Fluffing he looked up and glared at the woman. She knew as well as he did that brut had come on to him all creepily! No one could make the big melon head do anything! “I did not! He touched me and I just kicked him!” The woman snapped her teeth for him to be quiet and sulking with tears in his eyes Jes looked down but when a hand went to his head and stroked his ears he looked up to see the big male.
“Woman you wear on me. I already said I would like to adopt him now fill the paper. Every kitten has its problems and I did not think he wouldn’t.” His voice was deathly calm but the lady paled and quickly nodded. Soon the paper was pushed over and the man signed it without even looking to the text. “Come on Jessie, were leaving here. No full blood needs to be so close to half breeds that are jealous.” He looked to the woman and Jes was shocked as she got all angry then wilted. He had never even known she was a halfbreed! With that he was scooped up and tucked against the male and they left.
He would go and start a new chapter to his life. Yea. This man seemed so different from everyone else, who knows where he would lead him to!

Entering for Noct Female Prompt - Noct
Calla clutched her doll. Her best friend gave it to her years ago, and she'd taken care of it ever since she left the orphanage, adopted like many other nocts here. She was scared to leave, close to tears, she knew all the boys and girls here, the nocts and humans and halfbreeds. She didn't know the strange adults who wanted to take her home. They weren't her friends.
Would they hug her when she was scared at night like the other nocts here at the orphanage would? She stroked the doll's soft hair. Would her new parents want to play with her hair? She hoped they were nice, like all her friends here.
Calla never had parents, not like some of her friends who were here because their parents died. She doesn't remember or know what parents are supposed to be like. They seemed nice enough when she met them...
She picked her doll. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad. She could make new friends... right? And her old friends here... they could get adopted too, and they can play with new families and friends who are all happy with each other. She smiled and wiped a tear off her cheek. Calla would be strong, and be a good daughter to her new family.
No matter how scared she was.

Trying for-Human Prompt-human
Steffin was sitting in the window of the play room. There was a bench there and it was his favorite spot, and one of the few spots where he wouldn't get picked on all the time for being the only human here in the orphanage. He sighed softly as he cuddled the large bear that his big sister had left him when she had gotten adopted. He sighed and looked at the ones with wings playing out there int he garden and on the Swings. They would swing really high on them and then leap off and let their wings catch them and fly to the ground and laugh and do it all over again.
They never let him play with them too. They never let him play games with them saying that he smelled funny and they didn't want him around them. They said he was dirty and they didn't want some smelly human playing with their toys. So he just kept his Bonbon bear. He sighed and then looked up when someone sat next to him.
Roxanne sat on the bench in the window and looked at him. "Hello. Why are you all alone over here?" she asked as she pushed her long hair out of her face. Steffin looked at the woman, she was in a shirt and some black pants. She had a bat necklace around her neck and her hair was loose and almost to her waist. She smiled happily at him and he noticed...She was a half breed. She had no wings. Just a tail and ears.
"Y-your not a full Noct...why are you talking to me...No one talks to me cause i smell bad." He said softly as he snuggled his bear and watched her. She smiled softly at him and shook her head as she leaned in and sniffed. "Don't smell bad to me." she said as she looked at him and smiled. "I don't think my mother smells bad either and shes human." She said as she looked over the male.
Steffin looked at her and fidgeted. "Why are you here then? I....Why would you want a human if you already get enough stuff for what you are?" He asked softly.
Rox laughed a little and smiled as she shook her head. "My dad is pretty awesome so he doesn't really let anyone make fun of his children. And i never let it bother me." she said as she sat closer to him and pet his head. "You shouldn't either. The staff here say your very smart and very good with your hands. Your interested in cars right?" she asked as she looked at the bit of oil on his fingers. "I like cars. But I'm not so good with them. I make alot of money to where i can have you go to school when your old enough to do what ever you want if you want to come live with me." she said with a smile as she looked over him.
Steffin watched her and frowned. She was nice...and she didn't care what he was. She wanted to teach him and give him a home. He nodded and looked at her. "I love school. And i love cars. Their lots of fun i think." he said as he played with Bonbons ear. "I...think i would like that alot if you really want to take me home with you....My name is Steffin." he said softly. "This is bonbon." he said with a nuzzle to the bear as he made it wave an arm at her.
She smiled and waved back at Bonbon. "My name is Roxanne. And you can call me Rox if you want. I wont make you call me mom unless you want to ok? I know you had your own mother and what happened. Don't worry I wont let anything happen to you." she said.
He nodded and stood with her and they walked towards the office to fill out paper work so she could take him home with her.

Human Male Prompt Name means - Earth
Today would be the day..Avani could feel it deep inside his small body. Sitting, staring outside as raindrops lightly pelted the simple glass window but, the raindrops couldn't keep the little human males attention for long. No because, big people were coming again today..the big people who took one or two children.
They were never the same people of course..but, he longed to know that feeling he could see on the other children's faces. Many of them picked on him but, Avani still felt happy for them when they got a mommy and, daddy.
Yawning widely he relaxed back in the chair his bare feet tucked underneath him for warmth, his precious bear held tight. Everyone said no one wanted him, the other kids said he looked weird..but, the nice ladies here told him someone would love him. Their kind gentle words and, Cubby his worn brown bear were what kept Avani smiling, kept him chipper and, nice when the big people came to look them all over. To pick a child of their own.
No one really knew what had happened to his own real mommy and, daddy not even Avani..he can only remember wandering alone cold..then a nice noct lady scooped him up and, left him here. She should have been his mommy...but, the people here said she couldn't take him.
Peeking back out the window his dark orbs lit with life his hand pointing excitedly when he finally saw the car..the car he had been waiting for. "C-cubby mommy and daddy are here! New mommy and daddy..we'll have our own house a-and..no one will take our blanket at their house. Don't worry..they likes you Cubby." Giggling faintly the now overjoyed male bounded to gather his few small possessions before one of the nice ladies bundled Avani up to face the rain.
Then they came in and, no one could hold back the delighted boy. His new parents patted his head and, spoke so kindly..telling him of the warm fire waiting at home and, of the new clothes and, the nice warm bed he would have all to himself. With Cubby clutched close he left the orphanage once and for all to start a new life. No one would stop his smile, not today.

Male Halfbreed - Halfbreed Prompt
Hakai frowned as he watched the other children move away from him as he walked into the playroom. Even at such a tender age the lines of racial seperation had been clearly drawn. You played with your own kind or you were weird and no one came near you. When it came to being adopted, full-blood nocts went first, then half-breeds like him, and then, rarely and if you were lucky, the humans were picked. It wasn't fair and it wasn't right, but that's just the way things were. Some of the older children told stories about how that wasn't always true. There were other places, away from the island, where things were different, but that didn't matter to Hakai. He wasn't there. He was here.
He crouched beside the toybox and pulled out the train before quickly moving away to a secluded corner, out of the way of the other children. The train was his favorite. He liked to pretend that he was older and was the conductor. He would come back to the orphanage and load all of his friends on the train, no matter what breed they were, and they would travel all over the island, having adventures and finding homes with adults who didn't know how to find them and needed the children as much as they were needed by the children. He would be loved, with lots of friends and would never be lonely again.
A tear streaked down his cheek from his useless eyes as he realized he was being silly. Still young, he had been here longer than many of the other children. No one was really sure who he was or where he had come from. He had no memories, detailed or fleeting, of a mother or a father. His earliest memories were of hushed voices and sterile sounds. But never an image. From birth his eyes had been useless, a side effect of his mixed heritage perhaps. No parent would want him, a mutt, even more freakish that the rest.
His ears flicked forward as he caught sounds, the very familiar sounds of an adult coming to pick a child or two. It was a male, Hakai could tell from the heavier fall of the footsteps.
Oblivion Red paused in the doorway of the playroom. Many of the children turned to see him and jumped to their feet, crowding in around him and putting on their best shows. Each one knowing that they had to catch his attention and hold it if they wanted to leave here. He wasn't the first adult to come, and he wouldn't be the last, but they all knew that the older they got, the less likely they were to be chosen. Oblivion's gaze settled on the one occupant in the room who hadn't rushed to meet him. He smiled warmly, and gave each child his attention in turn as he gently guided them back to their games and toys left forgotten on the floor in excitement, picking his way toward the boy all the while. Finally he stood before the little halfbreed, a curious smile playing on his face as he crouched down to Hakai's level.
"Hello. What's your name young man?" "I'm Hakai. Sir." "You are very polite Hakai." "Thank you, sir." "How would you like for me to play with you for a while?" "I would like that, but wouldn't you prefer to play with another child?" "Why would I want that?" "Because I am a halfbreed." Here Oblivion paused to watch the young boy as he half-heartedly pushed the train around on the floor. Slowly, very slowly he started to laugh, startling Hakai. "You're a very smart boy Hakai. But I don't mind that you're a halfbreed. Would you like to know why?" "Why's that?" "Because you're so smart. And I'm sure that you have lots of other wonderful qualities." Hakai blushed and focused intently on his train. "Do you really think so?" "I do!"
Oblivion spent hours sitting cross-legged on the floor playing with the boy. They shared stories and jokes, getting to know each other. They weren't alone, many of the children scooting closer and joining in, simply enjoying the attention they were given. When Oblivion finally stood up to leave, Hakai could feel a warm feeling in the pit of his stomach. No matter what, even if Oblivion never came back, he knew he would be okay. Because there was someone out there who loved him just as he was.
"Hakai....are you coming?" Those simple words were all that he had to hear. He bolted to his feet and rushed across the room, trampling toys and hurting himself in the process. But it didn't matter. All that mattered was being right there, at his father's side. "Yeah. I'm ready."

Halfbreed Male Halfbreed Prompt
“Chuu-chuu~” Despite the judgmental eyes on the boy, he continued to push his train around the floor of the play room. As the halfbreed pushed the train he continued to make train noises and minded his own business. Some subconscious part of him knew he was being watched behind the window, but he tried to focus on the joys of his train.
“Dominique. Time for bed.” The stern voice called him, waiting at the open door.
Hearing the voice, the male flinched and froze. He sat perfectly still, even going as far as not breathing for as long as he could before taking small breaths. As he froze, Dominique squeezed his eyes shut, listening only.
An irritated sigh sounded. The door creaked as the owner of the sigh shifted his weight on the hand he had on the doorknob. “I don't want to do this today. I can see you, time for bed.”
At first Dominique continued to act frozen. When he closed his eyes, he figured because he couldn't see them they couldn't see him. In other words, when his eyes were closed he was invisible. If he moved even a little bit, he would be found out.
“One.”
A whimper left his lips at the stern word, the supervisor was counting. “O-okay!” The halfbreed quickly stood up, hugging the train to his chest. “No bath.”
It was obvious, the other didn't want to play along with Dominique's games. The sigh that left the man's lips only insured it.
“I'll wash my face..” He decided that maybe he should wash something, as not to upset the male more. Dominique might be naïve, but he could tell when people were upset.
They were now walking down the orphanage hall and toward the bathroom to get ready for bed. The two decided that as long as he washed his face and brushed his teeth the bath could wait until tomorrow night.
As the halfbreed brushed his teeth, he rocked and hummed. He was brushing his teeth, but it was kind of slow and he was more focused on his thoughts. Thoughts about what a parent would be to him; his ideal parents.
Although everybody saw Dominique as tainted, this person didn't look at him with disgust. If it were in his power, Dominique would want to live with somebody like that. Somebody who loved him for him, all his quirks and naivety. Somebody who would play with along with his games and race trains with him, but also somebody who would scold him when he did wrong. Nobody liked to get in trouble, but Dominique wanted to be corrected if he'd done something wrong.
“C'mon, c'mon. Faster Dom, you need to get to bed.” The man clapped to speed him up.
“Haaaai!” Dominique giggled and finished with the bathroom, even shuffling his temporary caretaker out to use the bathroom before bed. After washing his hands the boy bounced out of the bathroom. “Ready!”
The two walked to bed. The adult walking as an adult would and Dominique bouncing as he walked.
After a small spat over whether or not there would be a bedtime story, Dominique snuggled into his blanket to hear one story. As the story was told, the halfbreed smiled and closed his eyes listening as he “disappeared” into his slumber land.
More than all the small things he wanted in his parents, he wanted his parents to tuck him in, read him bedtime stories, and kiss his forehead when they thought he was asleep. He wanted them to leave the door open with the hall light on. He didn't want to be left alone anymore. Dominique was ready to live in a home where he the shining star in their life, for who he was. Exactly how he was.
That was what he wanted most of all, to be loved because he was a halfbreed.

Human Male- Prompt for Human Caelan sat at the window near his bed and looked to the many stars in the sky and gave a content smile....He hugged his old bear before setting him on his bed and grabbed a pen and small stack of paper from under his pillow and began to write....
"Dear orphans, whoever you might be....Human, halfbreed, noct of all kinds....My name is Caelan and like you I'm an Orphan, a human orphan. Most consider us the bottom of the barrel next to halfbreeds, but dont let there thinking affect you.
I've been picked on and made fun of by some of the others...told I'll never be adopted, but I can't think negatively. At first I was reserved and let the others talk bad about me and walk over me...I could take the abuse for myself, but when I saw a halfbreed come and get worse then me, I couldn't take it.
I went from being stepped on to a protector, never to let my self or others be trampled on if I could help it. And not all around you will be cruel and mean. Try to keep hope up and once day you'll find a home...one way or another. At times even I get down and feel I'll never find a home, but seeing the other happy faces around me is wonderful and gives me hope.
If in times you feel lost or scared that you won't find a home...a family or your own then do what I do, go to the window and look to the stars, the millions of stars and know that there is someone out there for you, someone looking for you, it's what keeps me going. I hope these words help you as they've helped me.....Chin up!
Your fellow Orphan, Caelan"
He finished writing his letter with a smile on his face, folded it and placed it under a loose bored on the windows edge, a secret hiding spot. He left it hoping that one day another orphan would find it and find comfort and confidence in his words....Wanting the best for all orphans no matter breed, he made a wish to the moon and crawled into bed, dreaming of the day his family would find him.(I tried xD)

Halfbreed Male Free-prompt
A home. How many of us dreamed that we'd have one. Stability, love, warmth. It wasn't necessarily lacking in the orphanage, it just wasn't in bloom. There were small spurts and sparks of it, but they only lasted for so long... unlike the unconditional that was said to reside within a home with a family. A true family. How many would get the luxury of actually being accepted into such a opportunity? There was so much to worry about.. whether you would be good enough or not.. if you were cute or not. Not to mention what race you were.. unfortunately, that held an impact most of the time. Though for little Ruslan, that didn't discourage his own hope-filled dream of having parents, a home, being apart of a true family. On such a day, when it felt just like any other, miracles and surprises were most abundant and possible. The children of the orphanage went about their daily routines, talking and hanging out with their usual friends that had been made over the time span of them being relinquished to this place. The caretakers were kind, and there was always food in every child's belly, and clothes on there backs. Really, Ruslan couldn't complain. But he wasn't the type to complain to begin with. The halfbreed, abandoned at birth, always expressed his thanks for the shelter he'd been given, seemingly never irked or hurt by the fact that neither of his parents wanted him. In truth, the thought never really sprouted in his mind. Since this was all he'd ever known, what was there to miss? If he didn't know it, how could he miss it? Though... he was always wondering... Giving wistful glances out of window's, as he'd see those who'd walk by along the sidewalk. A gentle smile was always on those innocent features, glossy royal blue tail giving a light sway of a wag when approached, assisting with the younger inhabitants in the house, in essence, being the maternal parent none of them had. It came natural to the young boy, and he enjoyed being the figure for those that looked up him. Though he was usually surrounded by such positive energy and presence, Ruslan did experience episodes of loneliness. A longing within him was growing, subtly, but noticeably. But what for...? What was it he wanted..? What was it that made his smile falter at weak moments? They never lasted long, and were usually in the company of only himself, during the nights when all was calm and settling; including his thoughts. But it never possessed the boy, or haunted him, as he let it slide off his back as if it were never there. Though for one day, he'd realize that he'd never have those episodes again. Everything began during the morning, just when all the little orphans of the building were waking up, little arms and legs stretching, mouths opening wide with yawns. Long ears wavered and flicked, tails flickering and curling, eyes rubbed, and groggy smiles painted along small faces. Ruslan was no exception. In his little room with his 'roommates', he was already up, and helping the youngers to start their day. Most followed the usual ritual of making their beds, and going off to wash their faces. On this day, though, they were graced with the presence of a couple who'd came early to see the children that were in need of a home. A pure Noct and a halfbreed. Both wore bright smiles, and lively eyes. Their vibe was encouraging to the now peeking children, who watched the duo stroll down the hallway with the main caretaker of the organization. Curious eyes followed the newcomers, which were in return greeted with a warm smile, and occasionally a little wiggle of fingers from the young couple. This made quite a peppy and happy feel begin to rise in the air, causing many of the younglings to stray from their rooms and follow after the adults passing by. Ruslan, whose room was soon to be approached, simply stood there, a baby Noct hugging at his leg, smiling sweetly to the inspectors, giving a soft "Good morning" as their eyes met. It was then that the Noct man paused his roll, watching the little halfbreed with curiosity, and a tip of his head,
"What is your name?" he asked gently, his wife giving the same sort of gesture with her expression. Replying promptly with, "Ruslan", that silky blue tail curled and eventually fell into a light wagging... easily getting caught in the contagiousness of the couples presence. With a nod from the two adults, and a few murmurs to the caretaker, Ruslan was called over, slender ears perking curiously. With a nod, he looks down to the tiny girl clinging at his leg, and smiles fondly, bending to kiss the top of her head, and carefully pull her arms from around her leg. The girl was a bit reluctant, but with the soft words of her 'motherly' Ruslan, she complied, and leaned against the doorway. Kissing the top of her head, Ruslan strolled over to the awaiting adults, with a sweet smile on his face.
The next hours proceeded with Ruslan spending some quality time with the couple outside, in a play room, talking to them, getting to know them. It was a lovely affair, full of giggles, and laughter, easily making the trio easily comfortable with one another. As the day grew later, and evening crept up, it was then decided by the visitors that Ruslan was what they were looking for. When they asked if he'd like to become apart of their family, his eyes glimmered with pure joy, his head nodding his response along with a meek and excited, "Yes."
Brought to the home, it was apparent just from the exterior that the two were a well to do couple, their house residing in a high-class neighborhood, holding an extreme amount of grace and majesty just from the look of the home. In quite awe, it took Ruslan a moment to approach the house, getting gentle encouragement by his new parents. Parents.... the grass was such a rich green, decored with vibrant flora and thriving tree's. Following them in, his eyes remained wide in fascination as they stepped through the front door, gazing around at the olive green walls, and cream marble floors. There were so many rooms.... all lavishly decorated and pleasing to the eye. In truth, the little halfbreed felt a bit intimidated, and nervous he might accidentally break something! Thus, he stepped lightly through the home as he was given a grand tour, pausing from time to time to really admire an extravagant piece, or an interesting area of the home. A tiny hand was idly holding at the pantlegs of his new mother, keeping to her side diligently, which made the woman giggle in amusement. It was when they reached Ruslan's new room that the boy let go, a cloth covered hand shyly lifting to his mouth as he looked around the wide open room... filled with toys, cushions, and painted walls that held mystical creatures and beautifully strewn colours. It was truly captivating. Walking over to his room, a little hand grazed over the plush soft covers, eyes lowering to half-mast... it'd been a long day... So much had happened. Almost subconsciously, Ruslan tiredly climbed into the bed, lowering himself onto the pillow, nuzzling it affectionately. His bed... his room. It felt odd that the others weren't with him.. and he could admit that he missed them, but.... there was something that now filled his heart, that wasn't there before... something that made it seem like it was alright. His new parents walked over and gently lifted the covers to fold over the boy, who was now close to sleep than consciousness. But a content smile resided on his lips, delicate ears folded back in a relaxed posture, innocent features smooth and calm in his new environment. A new home, a family...did he really yearn for this so much? It appeared so... Bending over, each parent gave a soft kiss to the boys head, whispering quiet words for the boy to sleep well, and promises for what the next day held. Promises of a new start.
