Personality
Auron is the strong silent type. He speaks only if necessary. He appears as a strict, no-nonsense warrior with a dry wit. He prefers to work on his own agenda, but will follows orders from those he holds in high regard, which is a short list. As a Shinigami, Auron devotes his life to protecting those in need, putting the matters of others before his own, and is unconcerned with his own well-being. However, beneath the silence, Auron is still outraged and disgusted over the events that have trancended across all of Soul Society, Hueco Mundo, and the Human World, and still mourns the loss of his friends and allies. Auron has little to no respect for the hierarchy or anyone who appears to be in charge of him until they earn it, showing no regard for them, likely due to his knowledge of their inner workings and corruption. As a fighter, Auron is very unbiased when it comes to his enemies. He shows the same degree of ruthless to his foes - regardless of age or gender, often making good on threats he's made. By contrast, he shows a surprising degree of sincerity, warmth, and protectiveness when around women, as he has a very protective nature. He also respects those with power or accomplishements greatn than his as they have earned it and he believes that is all that mattters.
History
In Life: Auron was born on June 23rd, 1594 in a small town located on the island of Kyushu to his parents,, William O'Sheridan and Hosokawa Tomoe. Hi father was a lowly merchant vessel cabin boy on a British merchant sailing from Holland with the minister of finance for the region of Edo. While making their way through the sea of Japan their ship was taken up by a kamikaze and were swept away by the waves. William then washed up ashore and was taken in by the lord of the region eventually becoming his economic advisor and later marrying his niece, Hosokawa Tomoe.
Auron was raised as a hard worker and a successful farmer as a child, but like all children had delusions of grandeur and wanted desperately to become like every child’s hero Musashi Miyamoto. He wanted desperately to become a great warrior and turned to learning the ways of the sword rather than the ebb and flow of economics and the subtle dance of politics, though without an instructor he was just playing warrior rather than training. One day Auron got his chance he was sixteen now and his dream was as strong as ever. He caught news that Musashi was making his way to Kyushu to train the local word for whom his father worked for. No one was going to stop Auron so his father agreed to take him to their lords castle. As rash and foolish as a young man could be Auron burst into the room and made his vow known that he would train under Musashi to twelve drawn swords, thirteen pulled arrows and a very upset lord of the land. Auron was arested and put on trial. Having no fear in the face of a death sentence, Auron impressed Musashi and so the legendary swordsman took his first disciple.
For five years Musahsi trained Auron ruthlessly and he learned all the more. The year was 1614, Musashi and Auron participated in the war between the Toyotomi and the Tokugawa. The war had broken out because Tokugawa Ieyasu saw the Toyotomi family as a threat to his rule of Japan. As in the previous wars, Musashi fought on the side of the Toyotomi, and his disciple Auron followed suit. Osaka Castle was the central place of battle. The first battle, winter in Osaka, ended in a truce. The second, summer in Osaka, resulted in the total defeat of Toyotomi Hideyori's Army of the West by Ieyasu's Army of the East in May 1615. The beginning of the battle showed no other outcome but the defeat of the Tokugawa, that is until Musashi struck out against Sakon Shima a leading officer of the Toyotomi's army. He had switched sides and started killing his own men left and right until his blade crossed with that of Aurons. A duel broke out and Aurons blade swung vengeance and pain at the betrayal of his master, feeling his master had broken the sacred code of the warrior. The duel had only just started then was silenced sweetly by Musashi's own sword piercing Auron's heart.
After Death: Auron awoke in a desolate world. He looked around in sleepy daze and all he saw was sand and dust. Feeling fear and a pulse of energy course through his body he shot up and ran at full speed, and he ran until he passed out. Again he awoke, but this time to a warm room. Rubbing his eyes he took a look around the room and saw he was in a small one room shack and could hear running water, though it was coming from outside. After a minute alone a women stepped through the straw curtain covering the entrance to small home. Her name was Kamiya Kaoru. She told him where she had found him, how he had come to be with her and what happened to him explaining to him that he was dead but another life began in Soul Society. A few months went by and Auron grew happy with Kaoru. He worked and eventually moved her closer to Seireitei now living just down from the White Way Gate of the west, when Kaoru came ill. Quickly calling a physician his only conclusion was that it was Aurons strong reiatsu that was causing her ill health. With a solon nod and heavy heart he spoke with Kaoru and told her wy it was she was sick. He was returned inn kind with a soft hand and soothing words. She knew why she had become ill and told him this was his path, to enlist in the Shiho Academy and become a Shinigami. Auron passed his preliminary exam and excelled in all his classes except one, his kido training. Like his father’s beloved economics and politics Auron had no flare for incantations or kido. Eventually he did graduate. Though not at the top of his class he did get perfect marks on his Zanjutsu exam.

Shikai appearance:
Auron's swords undergoes a drastic change in appearance extending in length and taking on a dark guard circular hand guard XX. The small throwing dagger becomes a three pronged claw attached to the top of his left hand XX. A chain extending from the pummel of the hilt of his sword wraps around his right arm, leading across his shoulders only to wrap around his left arm and attach to the small claw.
Shikai Attacks:
Hauringu Inmetsu (Lit. Howling Destruction): a powerful technique with great force, capable of causing large-scale damage and destruction. At the instant of the slash, Toboei Hakumei absorbs spiritual energy from the area around the blade and releases highly condensed spiritual energy from the tip of the blade, magnifying the slash attack and then flying forward. The only draw back is that Auron is unable to directionalize the aack as it will only flow in a straight line. This slash takes the form of a wolf head with razor sharp fangs or in the shape of a wolf's claw. This technique can be used in several different manners, such as striking the ground to create an omnidirectional blast to knock away incoming attacks or slashing at the ground to upturn it and crush everything in its path. Can be used from either the sword or the claw.
Kurai Kiba (Lit. Dark Fang): Auron plunges his blade into the ground after gathering spiritual energy at the point of th middle claw on his left hand. He then grips the hilt of his blade senidng the energy surging through his sword and shooting up spikes of devastating, solidified spiritual energy. Only able to target single combatants.

Weapon Changes:
Aurons sword becomes a nodachi taller than himself that he is able to weild with one hand. Along with his sword change the claw atop his left hand then forms an armored cauntlet spanning his entire left arm and shoulder, along with adding a razor sharp blade attached to a bracer on his right arm.
Field Changes:
-The smokey haze becomes a dense black fog spannning the battle arena, obscuring the sun and all sneses except the sense of smell, hearing, and touch. The dense fog is a direct result of solidified Reishi, spirit energy, brought together in a dense form by mass amounts of reiatsu, spiritual pressure. Due to this Auron is able to make copies of himself that are unable to attack, but explode upon being impacted by anything.
Bankai Attacks:
Gekido Hauringu Inmetsu (Lit. Ravaging Howling Destruction): Virtually the same as Haruingu Inmetsu, Gekido only offers these potent blasts to be controlled, and explosively augmented power and speed. a powerful technique with great force, capable of causing large-scale damage and destruction. Gekido Kurai Kiba (Lit. Ravaging Dark Fang): Like in his Shikai, Auron plunges his blade into the ground after gathering spiritual energy at the points of his claw on his left hand, only this time the energy is gathered at all five points. He then grips the hilt of his blade senidng the energy surging through his sword and shooting up spikes of devastating, solidified spiritual energ that span the field destroying friend or foe.
Ookami Kiji (Lit. Wolf's Shroud): Auron is able to form a shroud over himself, made up of the dense black fog, in the shape of a wolf giving him ears and a tail. This should, along with protecting him from most attacks, is also able to completely block his reiatsu from being sensed and cause him t go invisible.
Ookami Tsume (Lit. Wolf's Claw): When Auron's blades make contact with anything, a small burst of dark energy erupts from the point of contact between Toboei Hakumei and the other object.
Ookami Chiteiru Higyou (Lit. Wolf's Thousand Tail Strike): Auron can transform the Reishi surrounding him into solidified dark spines and then swing his Zanpakuto in an arc which fires an array of wolf's tail shaped daggers at his target.

Abilities
Though his basic Kido skills are lacking, Auron has made up for them by practicing other arts of kido.
Hakuda Practitioner (Lit White Hits): close-combat techniques that make use of one's own body as a weapon. Embodies high-speed Taijutsu attacks empowered by kido based energy throughout the body that are used to overwhelm the opponent.
Shunko Practitioner (Lit. Flash Cry): An advanced technique that combines hand-to-hand combat with Kido. Its used by surrounding the users back and arms with pressurized Kido. Any clothing covering the back or arms will rip apart when it activated. The technique can allows the user to instantly neutralize an opponent's movement, apart from enhancing their arms and legs for battle. The Kido itself can also be controlled and fired at opponents from the body, and can be used to create massive explosions. The compressed Kido surrounidng the back and arms is visible.
Hanki Expert (Lit. Reverse Demon): This technique is an ability used during Shunko, which nullifies an opponent's Kido by hitting it with a Kido of perfectly opposite speed and energy. The ability can even neutralize an opponent's movements.
Shunpo Expert (Lit. Flash Step): A movement technique that allows Auron to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps.
Senka Practitioner (Lit. Flash Blossom): A special Shunpo technique where one moves to their opponents back. Directly attacking and sealing one's "Saketsu (Chain Binding)" and "Hakusui (Soul Sleep)" in one strike. The movement is so fast that an opponent may not be able to tell whether he was attacked from the front or the back and even an outside observer may find it impossible to tell what the movements were.
Utsusemi Practitioner (Lit. Cicada): It allows for a movement at great speed leaving an afterimage behind. The afterimage may even appear to have taken damage.

Healing Kido: For Auron no incantations must be uttered to cast, as he simply heals the target of minor injuries. Auron holds his hands above the patient's wounds, his palms glow with green spiritual energy to facilitate healing. The mechanics of this healing technique involves the replenishment of the patient's Reiatsu first, then using the body's Reiatsu with the healer's Reiatsu in order to heal the patient's body.
