Emiko thought for a moment. "Well it is kind of late. I don't know if you have to be home for somebody. I was going to go just find a spot to watch the stars for a bit." She explained. Sadness laced her voice. No matter how hard she tried she couldn't cover it up. That's when it started. All the flashbacks suddenly took over her mind. She felt her eyes sting with tears. "I-I'm gonna go." she said quickly. She turned on her heels and started to walk off.

Kenji looked to her with concern "w-wait Emiko" he was wondering what what was wrong with her, she just turned all sad for no reason, he began to wonder what was wrong as he walked towards the exit.

Emiko stopped in her tracks when she heard Kenji call after her. She got a jolt of nervousness. 'He's probably all freaked out at my mood swing.' she thought. She rubbed her eyes and turned her head to face him. "I'm sorry Kenji. I just-" she paused. Getting into a quick internal war on whether or not she should tell him. "I just remember something is all. I understand if you're, I don't know, turned off by my actions. I-I'll just let you go on with your evening." she said embarrassed.

Kenji smiled to her "its alright, if it makes you feel better, we can go watch the stars and you can tell me about it, sound good?" he said placing his hand on her shoulder to comfert her

Emiko smiled the most heart felt smile. She hadn't had that sort of care given to her for years. "Yea, that sounds great. If you don't mind that is." she quipped. Running her fingers through her hair she looked up at him. Her vulnerable green eyes glittered with uncaught tears.

Emiko smiled. "Well I was just going to go look for a random hill. If you have any specific place in mind that'd be a bit better." she chuckled. She was very thankful that she had company tonight.

Kenji thought for a moment then he knew the perfect place "how about on top of the Hokage faces, on the cliff side, we can get a great view from up there" he said smiling to Emiko

She felt her stomach fill with butterflies. That was quite a beautiful place. "That sounds absolutely perfect." she smiled. She felt her smile was so big it would crack her face. It was so big it reached her eyes. She was truly smiling.
