With all the s**t I have had to put up with in my life I guess I kind of hardened my heart and built a wall keep emotions inside. That has cost me a great deal of friendships. I run the GSA at my high school, so I don't just fight for me, when a student comes to me, I fight for them as well. It does take it's toll. Not that I don't love being there for my friends.
But sometimes I am just as awkward around girls as I am guys, and with all of my emotional and trusting problems, Nights can be really lonely. Some nights I curl up with my dog and just cry

I totally sympathize. I have insomnia so I think a lot before passing out and usually recall a painful memory that makes me do the same thing.
