Adani looked nervously at the path ahead of her. Her mother had said it would be ok and the path was very obvious and signs were everywhere. Still Adani hated being alone. This was an exercise kind of place or so her mother had said, a nature trail. Adanis mother had already gone on ahead, apparently the place was a loop and so as long as she stayed on the trail she would be fine and her mom would be able to find her. Still being alone was scary. Adani sighed, well she might as well get going, her mother had already left her. Adani straightened her skort and her shirt. It was a cute exercise outfit in her favorite colors of blue and red. So she began to start down the trail. She didnt know if she was up to running but she could stroll and enjoy the surroundings. That sounded nice...maybe she could even see some birds! This may be a fun idea after all!

Click! Shhhk... Click! Shhhk...
As always, this was the sound that preceded the approach of the princess of a greed spawn, accompanied by the flash of her polaroid camera. She had not come on the hike with any family members, but with a babysitter, who shrugged her onto a less-active friend who would accompany the tailed girl up the trail and back down without leaving her behind or losing her anywhere along the way.
Chailai squeaked as she hit the ground after slipping herself down from the top of a big rock, a skill that had become useful to her recently ( especially with her terrible habit of getting stuck atop things; the luck of a princess! ). Wiggling a bit, she adjusted her pale green seifuku, straightening the dirt-stained white leggings that she had been wearing underneath them. As she hit the ground, Chai noticed the sound of another person on the trail, ears pricking up curiously as she stepped slowly toward the mouth of the clearing that she stood in, trying not to spook whoever might have been hiking up towards her and her current 'guardian'.

Adani was walking the path slowly, there were so many sounds of people running and talking that she had tuned them out in favor of the sounds the birds were making in the trees. Her nose in the air and her ears trained to ignore the sounds of people she didnt even notice when she was about to run into another young girl. Adani at the last possibly moment realized she was about to walk into someone and jumped back in surprise as her feather tuffed tail held her balance and her ears focused on the new person. Adani was about to stammer an apology when she caught sight of the girl and felt herself become rigid with shock. The girl standing in front of her had large ears and a tail that looked roughly the same as hers. It was like looking into a sort of warped mirror. There were some differences like her skin color and the actual fur instead of feathers on her ear tips and tail tip but it was an older version of her. Adani froze in fear. She already wasnt to brave a child but now with a doppelganger right in front of her she had no idea what to do!
Her tail trembled behind her and she clutched the feathered end of her tail for comfort. What a day to be alone! What if this new person was going to kill and replace her! So many things ran through her mind that she could only stand and stare wide eyed at the new girl even though somewhere in the back of her mind something told her she might be acting rude.

Seeing that the female was focused on something else and thusly about to walk into her, Chailai took a few steps backward, blinking curiously and tipping her head to one side, the ear along with that side tipping a bit further as well. Her tail swayed slightly, the piece of fluff at its tip fluttering through the air and she frowned softly at the look of overwhelmed shock that came to the girl's face. What was so scary about her? Trying to be subtle, she glanced over herself, wondering what could possibly be frightening the girl. Considering she'd already met other greed children and her growth had brought with it some interesting changes as well, she was blind to the idea that their similarities were as much as a mirror. Her short hair was ruffled slightly when one of her ears twitched, and she smiled softly at the other girl, despite her apparent fear, leaning down a bit in order to be closer to the toddler's height.
"'Ello zhere, little one. Are jou lost, or just off exploring on jour own?" she asked softly, hoping that her words didn't spook the child ( though she couldn't fathom why they would ). In the hopes of looking less frightening, she knelt down, closer to the younger girl's height. Smiling softly, she held her camera up a bit. "I am just 'ere taking pictures. Jou can come wizh me if jou like...?"

Adani continued to stay frozen as the girl talked to her. She had a funny accent, was that bad? was that good? didnt the bad guys on tv have that accent?! no no she had to think about this rationally, she was not on tv so this girl in front of her could not possibly be a bad guy....right? Adani looked over the girl again and decided that there couldnt be anything wrong with talking to her...maybe she could talk her out of taking her place. YEAH that was a good idea! Adani didnt get any closer and in fact inched back a few steps when the girl knelt down.
"I-I-Im Adani...w-whats your name?" Adani looked at the camera and realized that she had never seen one before. her mother wasnt big on pictures and much less taking them. She stared at the cemera and when she realized it might be rude she decided to ask timidly "Whats a camera?" Adani didnt expect an answer right away she was still too keen on this girl being her evil twin of some sort and so kept her guard up just incase and made sure she was an arms length away from this new comer just for safe measure.
