Puppet Nurse
Description:
Puppet Nurses are monstrous nurses wearing old-fashioned uniforms. Large, slug-like parasites grow out of their backs, causing the nurses to hunch forward when they walk. They are found in the first Silent Hill game. They emit a loud moaning noise when killed. They are actually real nurses who worked at Alchemilla Hospital but became controlled by parasites due to Alessa Gillespie's powers, giving them a humpbacked appearance.
Method of Attack:
They hobble forward and lash out with their surgical knives.
Symbolism:
These monsters are created from Alessa's memories of her hospitalization and of the nurses who worked there, including Lisa Garland. Although they weren't necessarily members themselves, they were acting as puppets of the Order by keeping her alive.
