Puppet Doctor
Description:
They appear in a white jacket with a lump on their back. They are hunched over like a puppet and attack with a variety of surgical instruments. There are different kinds of doctors just as there different kinds of nurses scattered throughout the medical facilities of Silent Hill.
Method of Attack:
They usually go for vital portions of the body as well as target places where tendons and ligaments are most vital.
Symbolism:
They represent Dr. Michael Kaufmann's willingness to serve Dahlia Gillespie and Lisa Garland, whom he supplied with the hallucinogenic plant White Claudia. They may also represent Alessa Gillespie's hatred of doctors, which was caused by her confinement in her hospital room.
Reasons for Manifestation:
• Iatrophobia, fear of doctors.
• Nosocomephobia, fear of hospitals.
• Nosemaphobia, fear of becoming ill.
• Horrendous experience in a hospital, or mental ward.
