I'm desperate, guys...
Let's talk about politics!
So... what do y'all think of Minnesota's Government Shut Down?
I think it's crazy. All the people on welfare won't be getting their checks, and neither will the unemployed. I guess we'll just have to go hungry for a little while.
Parks are closed down, zoos are closed down and some police departments have limited officers. In other words, Minnesota is in total chaos right now.

I think that it's the cause of bad financial practices over time. It's a sad spectacle, really. sad

I think I agree.
But the people shouldn't have to suffer for it. I have to look twice as hard for a job now that we won't have our $300 in food stamps, and now that we don't have our welfare check. D8<
My mom has to work extra hours too, just so that we can afford the gas and the mortgage. It's gotten so bad that we stopped paying our phone bill and in order for me to access the internet we have to go to the library.
And I don't mind coming to the library, either... I would just like to do it because I want too, not because I have no choice.:/
And now we're shopping for everyone's clothes at Salvation Army and Unique. Not that I don't mind that either, but I'd like for me to at least be able to afford some new clothes for my daughter, y'know?
I hate MN's government now, and I can only imagine that it's going to go downhill from here.

It's not just MN's government that's going down, but the entire country is going downhill. If anything, President Obama's policies have only hastened the collapse.

It's sad that is happening. People are on welfare for a reason. Well, most of them. How are they going to get enough of what they need? And the people who are unemployed? What about them?
