Land of Fire: The Southwest Forests
This part of the great forest is expansive and it covers vast distances, far into the River Country and beyond towards the Borderlands of the Land of Wind towards the Sunagakure. The forests here are lush and dense, much like the rest of Konoha, with broad, tall trees with thick canopy branches making ninja travel between them quick and easy. Interlaced throughout the forests however are large gaps of rushing rivers which feed into the great oceans to the east.
When one begins to travel further west however, the topography changes, the forests thin out and the heat rises as the humidity decreases. Tall mountains give way to stony peaks which lead into desert pathways into the sands of the Wind Country

Jouji Ijuin Special Jounin Raiton Great Chakra Reserves ✦ Endurance ✦ Sexy Combo ✦ Chakra Control Chakra: 88/90 Stamina: 82/85
Jouji had heard the woman speak to him, but he had ignored it for some time, traveling further in silence until he leaped from one tree to the branch of another on the other side of the first of the bigger rivers that ran through this portion of the forest. As he landed on the other branch he pushed off once more and onto a neighboring tree, this time jumping higher however so he could hold higher ground over the woman. As his jump reached its peak, he spun his body to face the woman landing on the upper branch, skidding slightly on the wood, choosing not to apply any kind of chakra walking, almost skidding off the edge of the branch but stopping a mere inch from falling off. Precision moves like this were his favorite when traveling.
"Did you tell me your name? I've forgotten if you did or not, remind me, I don't fancy enigmas working beside me" spoke Jouji as he tucked his hands into his tight leather pants, leaning slightly forward with a bent back to stare down the woman, looking something like one of those highschool tough guy wannabes; but he did it merely because it felt comfortable.
"In any case, are your injuries impeding your inquisitive nature? I've never heard of such a condition, or perhaps you do not wish to probe me? No one seems to want to probe me, so at least you have something in common with the rest of the team now, something more personal than the fact you're all vagrants, vagabonds and all otherwise essentially homeless"
Jouji rocked backwards on his heels and fell from the branch and without breaking his pose, statuesque in mid-air flipped and landed on a branch lower and little further away.
"At our best we do nothing, neutrally we monitor the hosts of the tailed demons, and when needed, we tear the demons from the bodies of the unworthy, stupid and, for lack of a better word; evil. That's lesson one, however absent wisdom is from it"
"I live for absolute freedom, which makes me pretty stupid" [blaaarggghhhh, I suck so much right now :/ and to think, I have to make another what, 3 posts of this? Dx ]

X X X X X X Kansatsuryoku | Suiton | Special Jounin | Wanderer "Trust is a fragile thing, easily tainted and broken..." Haruko had honestly expected some sort of reaction from the man as soon as she was done speaking but from the way he continued onward, it would be as if she hadn't even spoken at all. 'Such a strange man.' The man continued to push onward through the forest. His suddenly decision to jump across to a tree branch located on the other side of a large river was strange but she knew better than to question her superiors. 'Besides...I'm not exactly in top shape to do battle...who knows what might happen if I act out of line. This man's bound to have something to him if the leader was confident enough to send me with him alone...' Easily crossing the distance between the two closest trees growing along the river's edge, Haruko easily maneuvered at an angle so that upon landing her feet pivoted swiftly, allowing her to follow after Jouji immediately.
She had just made her way onto the next tree over when Jouji took off for the neighboring tree. His jump was high, and pausing momentarily on her own branch, Haruko watched puzzled as the man twirled around during the peak of his jump to face her. His ability to safely land without looking was impressive and his control over his movements even more so. 'He's got good coordination that's for sure and from the looks of it...he's not using chakra either...his chakra was an eerie black if I remember correctly and his feet bare nothing. Not even the thinnest layer of chakra...or are my eyes deceiving me...' Jouji speaking came rather unexpected and Haruko blinked a few times as her mind tried to register reality. Taking in his words, Haruko let loose a small sigh. "Kansatsu Haruko." Her reply was short and precise, giving Jouji the exact information he requested.
His next few words sparked a feeling of irritation as well as uneasiness. He was right though, he had given her a chance to question him relentlessly and she backed out of it. The fact that he spoke of the group in such a way as if he himself was not included. 'He uses "you're" in that phrase...why...is he not like the rest of them?' Brushing it off as if she was thinking too much into the man's words, Haruko catch onto the rustling of leaves and attention back on Jouji watched as he flipped and landed effortlessly on a lower branch farther off. Rooted to her spot, Haruko stood there in silence as Jouji continued to speak after his fancy jump display. 'So they really are real...sounds harsh though...tearing the demons out...' "What happens to the hosts then? Tensing up almost immediately after those words registered in her mind, Haruko honestly had not expected to speak out. Her train of thought had been on what he said about their mission regarding demons and before she knew it, she subconsciously spoke out her worry. No matter what she may do to survive, in the end she was still a medic and lives weren't something to toy around with. Since she's started though, she might as well continue. "I mean, I've heard of the powers of the legendary tail beasts but I've never bagged them to be real. I thought our goals were to upset the current way of things...what does extraction of demons from host have anything to do with it?"
{Nah, I thought your post was fine! smile And no worries, if anything...fighting random creatures normally work great for posts! Jouji Ijuin Special Jounin Raiton Great Chakra Reserves ✦ Endurance ✦ Sexy Combo ✦ Chakra Control Chakra: 88/90 Stamina: 82/85
"A demon is like a soul is a rudimentary sort of way; it's a being made of chakra and while chakra is not the sum of our life force it is linked to it, so imagine, if you will, that when a host's demon is torn out, that we are tearing out a chunk of their soul. Do you still think there is a host for anything to happen to after that?" replied Jouji, seeking to inform this Haruko of the gravity of the situation, hoping she made the connection between the atrocity of bijuu extraction and the fact that they were on the move, even if just for observation.
Jouji turned from Haruko, ignoring her question about their activities as he spun, kicking his leg out playfully, then with both feet planted he jumped onto a nearby branch and motioned over his shoulder for her to follow as he continued the journey, but this time not at a run but rather more like a child jumping from stepping stone to stepping stone. By the time they came to the second river he felt she had boiled under his silence long enough, and he was thirsty, descending from the branches with another playful jump he landed by the river and spoke out to her:
"If you do know anything of the demons then you would know of their power, if you don't anything then the first thing you should know of is their power; they are raw power, primal in their very existence, were they not forced to be beasts and sentient by forces unknown there's no doubt they would be nothing more than great whirlwinds and vortexes of chaotic power. Power enough to annihilate us all. Think then, what it means for a single person to harness that power from within their body, think then what that means for any village in possession of such an individual."
Bending down Jouji cupped his hands and took a handful of water from the river and drank sparingly. As he stood up he continued:
"When humans have power they want to use it, when they have a new weapon they wish to try it out, if the hosts were only for safeguarding the world from the demons, why do the villages train them to be warriors? Fear and domination, it's pretty obvious when you think about it. I won't elaborate on that point here, you'd be better off reading 'The Rise to Power of Paranoia' by Jouji ijuin for more details. We continue on down here, come, ask me more, your questions aren't so dreadful as one would have imagined."
Jouji leaped from actual stepping stone to stepping stone across the river and to the opposite bank, intending to carry them a little further then set up camp closer to the border of the Land of Wind, but no so close that it became dry and riverless; the sound was soothing.
"I live for absolute freedom, which makes me pretty stupid" [There are some slight changes to my character and there will be obvious dissonance in my posting format because of that. Just letting anyone who reads this know, it has been cleared by the big boss.]

X X X X X X Kansatsuryoku | Suiton | Special Jounin | Wanderer "Trust is a fragile thing, easily tainted and broken..." Paying careful attention to Jouji's words, Haruko could feel herself feeling more and more uneasily as her intelligent mind picked up on where he was going with his words. '...death...' Haruko needed no answer as her mind automatically provided one for her upon the end of his statement and question. A feeling of dread filled her and Haruko finally felt the gravity of what it was she had joined. 'I knew there was more to this organization than meet the eyes...but to claim a life over a demon...' Sure Haruko had no proof that they would actually extract those demons from said hosts but Haruko knew better then to be wishful. Jouji had even said they do and even if he said they would only pull them out from the 'stupid' ones as he identifies them, Haruko knew that if needed, even the innocent hosts will lose their lives. '...I don't know if I can really bring myself to go along with this...lives are still lives...' Letting loose a soft sigh, Haruko forcefully pushed those sentimental thoughts to the back of her mind. She choose this route and from the start she new sacrifices would inevitably make their appearance on her game board. It just... occurred when she least suspected is all. For the last two years, it had always been her lone white piece against the gazillion of enemy black pieces, now, some unexpected gray pieces have been added to the board and she will have no choice but to rid them as well...'So is life...'
The sound of rustling branches recaptured Haruko's attention and glancing over towards where Jouji stood momentarily ago, she saw emptiness. 'tsk. Got sidetracked...' Hopping off her branch, Haruko kept thought she would have to do a lot of catching up but in the end she had to stop herself partway through a jump. Jouji's pace has slowed down drastically and unwilling to allow herself to pull ahead of the man, kept her pace just as slow as his. Haruko didn't mind it too much as it made it easier on her recovering wounds. What troubled her was the slow pace in additional to the silence. Haruko had asked more than that one question but like before Jouji seemed to hold back on her preferring to lead and answer at his own pace. 'Its disappointing but in my current state, I'm sadly unable to really complain or take off on my own...' With that in mind, Haruko unwilling accepted the terms of her acceptance into the Akatsuki and simply trailled behind the only other known medic of the organization. Shortly after, the duo arrived at a second river and deciding that he was thirsty, Jouji made his decent form the branches and ending with a playful jump, stopped by the riverbed.
Pushing off her branch, Haruko bothered not with a slow decent through numerous branches and instead just opted for a straight jump down. Thought she jumped from rather high up, her landing was as quite and gentle as if she came from the lowest branch. Walking over to Jouji who had began to speak again, Haruko simply stood there in silence as she took in the man's words. She truly had no set knowledge on these legendary beasts, just brief stories, or what she thought were stories from her grandfather. Hearing Jouji speak, she could begin to understand the results of harnessing such destructive powers. The thoughts of such powers being contained within one sole individual seems relatively strange too. 'Is it even possible? To host such things and not lose all control..' Mimicking her superior as he bent down for a drink, Haruko greedily took in the fresh, cooling water as her body finally registered its need for water. 'I'm actually surprised I manage to last the travel here. The last time I drank was before my assassination mission...'
When Jouji spoke once more, Haruko finished her last sip off water and stood up as well. Once more saying nothing while he spoke and made sure to not let any valuable information slip by. At the mention of a book until an author with the same first name as him, Haruko couldn't help but wonder but made no open actions to ask. When prompted to probe further, Haruko nodded and took that invitation to heart. Following his lead, Haruko easily skipped from one stepping stone to the next until she also reached the other side of the river. As the duo continued on their way, Haruko took a moment to dive into her memory and if she was right, they should be nearing the border soon. 'If we are nearing the border soon, setting up camp while we're still in the forest would be the wiser choice. Hopefully Jouji would think so too.' Haruko allowed for another few moments of silence to pass before she began another round of questions. "That book you mentioned earlier...did you write it? Also...I want to know more about the other members...how many of you there are, what you guys do, personalities, etc." Believing that those two are good enough for now, Haruko closed her mouth and patiently awaited her partner's response.

Jouji Ijuin Special Jounin Raiton Great Chakra Reserves ✦ Endurance ✦ Sexy Combo ✦ Chakra Control Chakra: 88/90 Stamina: 82/85
Jouji allowed Haruko's question to rest as he had done before, it simply suited him this way, allowing himself and her to ponder her questions: it was good to consider not only what you had to say but also what you had asked. He allowed this silence to end more quickly, he had grown somewhat used to this girl, warmed up to her if such a phrase was the easiest way to communicate his feelings on her. He turned his head to face her while he continued to walk forward, give her a charming smile as a stray beam of the heaven's light danced off his golden irises causing them to glimmer eerily, his movements stopping.
"They say this world was created by the light, what was it then that caused the dark to be created? The whole will to fight is awash with the stench of blood. On the faces of the barely innocent is a death mask, while those who live in the dark are no longer content to live in the earth and crypts. The author is irrelevant, the message is clear. Does it matter if I'm that Jouji, or another?"
His smile melted into a frown as he stared at her momentarily, but as soon as a cloud passed overheard and cut the light from his eyes his smile returned in an instant and he turned from her and continued to walk, his smile not fading as he spoke some more, with no chasm of silence to separate the topics.
"Of what worth is the will to fight, when the blood that sprays forth from violated flesh spurs one to find new freedom in its release? Humans fear the dark and yet in order to escape it, they are the first to cast aside their humanity. Sai our white haired leader is a hard a** with a serious complex, he can and will mutilate and kill so long as he finds worth in the action, worth for the world. Zenko our buxom associate is more than just eye candy for Atsureki and Sai, she is not so experienced but a fighter all the same, and a temptress for all but those who possess the strongest of commitments or no interest at all. She and Sai are of the same descent, a deadly line whose chakra forms a perfect zero, not empty, but unlimited in potential and source. Their power is not free, it burns them alive from inside, Sai's soul has been reduced to ash, but Zenko is oddly cheerful despite being a shapely charred corpse. Not a literal corpse of course"
Jouji stopped as they arrived at a small clearing that seemed perfect for rest, and giving the spot a quick once over approved it for that role. He turned to Haruko and finished what he had started:
"Atsureki is our youngest I think, I forget how old Zenko is, but if not in age he is the youngest in every regard and the one you apparently fought. He wields the Byakugan, a dojutsu somewhatcommon in Konohagakure that enhances one's sight to supernatural levels and allows one to see the chakra system. I assume he probably sealed off your chakra network in your fight too, another gift of his. Unfortunately his tactics reflect his impatience and immaturity, though given his case, it might be better to call it prematurity. From what I've seen and heard he has a boyish lack of stamina between the sheets. Of course he hasn't tested that stamina on a real person so who can be sure?"
Jouji leaned against a tree and slowly slid down its trunk till his rear plonked on the ground, exhaling with a deep sigh as he did, his shoulders heaving, his legs stretching and spreading as he did. He slipped one hand between the trunk and his head to rub his neck, while the other slid down to his crotch and rearranged his junk through his tight leather pants.
"I'm Jouji Ijuin and you should be afraid of that fact, I have seen your face and I can see you from a hundred miles away in the blackest of nights or depths, even if I'm , as I am now, somewhat immobilized by chafing. Now do whatever you need to make what you would consider a camp and tell me of this 'Haruko' you claim to be"

X X X X X X Kansatsuryoku | Suiton | Special Jounin | Wanderer "Trust is a fragile thing, easily tainted and broken..." As expected, the man once more allowed for the veil of silence to drape over them while he continued to lead the way towards the boarder. Having gotten use to this routine, Haruko obediently followed while using this time to ponder her questions. The first was rather unnecessary but she wanted to cap her curiosity on the matter. 'Not really that big of a deal but it's kinda interesting to know that someone in this line of profession would have something to contribute to the world of literature...makes me realize that all of them had a life before this as well...' The next was more important as knowledge on those she would be working with was high priority. 'If I continue to go on knowing nothing about them it could prove to be dangerous. Very dangerous indeed...' When the man turned around while walking forward to flash her a charming smile, Haruko was momentarily taken a back. It was strange how just as he turned a bright stream of sunlight shone down on him and reflected of his golden irises. The shine from them were a bit eerie but Haruko couldn't help but think he looked rather dashing under that light. The attraction she felt was similar to that other female she met earlier but just not as strong so with a quick clench of her fist. The pain from her nails digging into her skin was more then enough for Haruko to snap herself out of her temporarily daze. 'I must be getting tired...don't even know what came over me at that moment...but its strange...he really draws in the eyes...just like with Zenko-san...'
Clearing her throat, Haruko redirected her attention to Jouji's words instead. '*sigh*...I'm not here to sight see...especially not the people...scenic views would have been better...' His words were philosophical and Haruko found herself immersed in them. They brought about questions and revelation to the young medic. 'They make the world out to be a bright place and then the question of the darkness arises...perfections is not achievable and yet people seek it...then there are those who cannot be content with their bright life and seek for something more...that want becomes greed and greed leads to the beginning of sin...' Shaking her head in silent response to his question regarding the relevance of the author, Haruko decided to just leave that curiosity uncapped and set to the side. 'No point in worrying about it now...' His sudden frown brought on a puzzled look from the young medic and when a looming cloud passed overhead to shield away all light, his smile returned. This puzzled Haruko even more but she opted to not question it, what was the point? Its not like it really matters or not if he smiles or not. 'Though his smile does make him appear all the more humane...'
Him breaking out into speak again caught her by surprise as the man did seem to enjoy long breaks between speaking. 'All the better I guess...' His first question was rather unexpected but it made sense...in order to find meaning some would be willing to spill the blood of others...but where's the worth in all that...a life for something so shallow as self-satisfaction and need...Paying close attention when the members were brought up one by one, Haruko was faced with the truth of just how deadly their leader was. 'He seemed the most threatening and what Jouji-san says just makes me more doubtful of my choice to follow him...to kill based on whim as long as it proves to be useful...I mean...I've tainted my hands too but only with the blood of those who have done unworthy acts...but how different is that then killing on a whim...' The information regarding Zenko didn't really come as much of a surprise as that woman did seem to be one who would use her 'assets' to the fullest. 'A temptress eh? I can believe that...after all...I fell pray to it to...' Clearing her throat once more as thoughts of Zenko's strangely attractive figure came to mind, Haruko shifted her thoughts towards Jouji mentions of their decent. 'Interesting...so basically they have an unlimited supply of chakra...but they suffer internal pain from it?' She still didn't understand the whole concept of it but she had a feeling she would soon enough.
Nodding her head in response to the rest of his statement, Haruko felt not much need to comment on the last bit and simply stopped when he did. Taking a look around the area as well, it would appear to be a basic clearing but decent enough for a quick rest. 'I'm assuming its for rest as we are nearing the boarder...it's much smarter to camp out in the forest than the desert after all...' Eyes on the man as he continued on with his introduction of the group, it would appear as if all those she saw before in the chakra forest was really all there was to their mysterious organization. To make matters worst...it was like rubbing salt to a wound as Haruko was reminded of her defeat. 'Just as Sai-san said...he really is the most inexperience...he didn't look any older then me though...*sigh*...but it would seem I was correct on the doujutsu front. Byakugan eh? Never heard of it but it sounds interesting...' When mention of his abilities to see and seal off one's chakra came up, Haruko let loose a soft 'tsk' and mentally scolded herself for her carelessness. 'Its not like I would have known but still...for someone like me, my chakra is important so to have even given the enemy such an opening...I'll have to be sure to watch out for that the next time we fight...' Nodding her head to the rest of his statement, Haruko could see some of the rashness he spoke off as bits and pieces of their fight flashed through her mind. Then again...she wasn't all that experienced either so she couldn't say she was any better off than he was. 'I gave the enemy a chance to get within striking range after all...that was pretty bad on my part...'
Breaking free of her thoughts when she heard the sound of clothing rustling against tree bark, Haruko watched as Jouji slid down into a sitting position. Watching the man sit reminded Haruko suddenly of her leg wound curtsy of Atsureki but camp essentials came first and Haruko had a good feeling the man wouldn't be exactly up to gathering said essentials. Gaze darting off to the ground as the man got 'comfortable' in his spot, Haruko took a moment to consider conjuring up a clone. 'The view of the river's obstructed...I wonder if I would be able to reach out that far though...its within hearing range so it can't be that far...' Head snapping back up when the man spoke, Haruko felt a sudden chill sweep through her at his words but did her face to maintain a blank expression. To show fear is to let other know you're troubled. Which in turn gives them the advantage. 'Which in this case would be best...I still have a feeling that this set up was meant to evaluate me or something. After all...even I would just let someone randomly into an secret organization just based off their back-story...' Nodding her head, Haruko knelt down on the short grass and allowed for her bum to hit the ground while she rested her bent legs off to the side.
Taking a moment to concentrate, Haruko closed her eyes and steadied her breathing. Once calm, she then sent out her chakra towards the river and to her luck she felt it connect. Fusing her chakra with the water, she molded parts of it into a water clone whom appeared a few seconds later. Eyes opening, Haruko turned to meet her clone and spoke in a soft tone. "Gather firewood and two stones please." Nodding, the clone headed off to collect some firewood while Haruko remained there resting with her 'partner'. Turning to face the man, Haruko took a moment to ponder his last inquiry and unsure of what he really wanted to know decided to play it safe. "I believe you've already heard all that you needed to know from earlier. I'm but an young lady with no place to return to. I've been trained in the medical arts as well as the manipulation of water. The blade by my side is the only ties I have to my past life. I seldom use it. My goal is to survive and to disrupt the chains of power...corruption is something I wish to rid with my own hands...does this work for you Jouji-san or are you hoping to get more information about my past from me?" Eyes on the man, Haruko kept her face calm and controlled. Though her life was sparred, she would be cautious how she tread for the next while. Should she give to much...or reveal too little...who knows what they would do to her...

Jouji Ijuin Special Jounin Raiton Great Chakra Reserves ✦ Endurance ✦ Sexy Combo ✦ Chakra Control Chakra: 88/90 Stamina: 82/85
Jouji bulged his eyes at Haruko as she made mentions of disrupting the chains of powers and removing corruption, whether it be from her reality or all of reality he did not know but he found the notion depressingly futile and somewhat humorous. Who was this girl, thinking she so wise and almighty that she could discern purity from corruption? Who was she to talk of disrupting power, when the very process of doing so was simply a transferal to another person or party or entity who would no doubt be abused or grow drunk on that power thus perpetuating all that she sought to undo.
Did she not see this? Could she possibly see this? He did not know the answer, and he did not care to; conversing with her thus far had only generated these questions. There was never any question in his mind of whether he was wrong in his judgements or whether he truly possessed the wisdom to pass them; for while he had not the intelligence for masterful tactics in combat, he was far beyond anyone when it came those mysteries that forever perplexed humanity.
"That is sufficient" he stated simply, voice heavy with disappointment and marbled with contempt, his eyes closing briefly to rest his growing wrath, and when it was silenced he opened his eyes once more to watch Haruko, sizing her up with this new knowledge. His gaze was commanding and demanding that she take action or speak, iris brimming with anticipation, and however woeful he foresaw the results he was still excited,as always, to see creativity, inquiry and response.
"I live for absolute freedom, which makes me pretty stupid" I am SO sorry for the delay.

X X X X X X Kansatsuryoku | Suiton | Special Jounin | Wanderer "Trust is a fragile thing, easily tainted and broken..." During the time she spoke, Haruko had taken note of his change in composure when her goal was brought up and it was obvious a bit what he was thinking. She knew she had no right to discern the righteousness from the tainted but she would do what she felt was right no matter what others thought. His response came short and it was laced with an rather heavy ounce of disappointment. 'Was he expecting something different? Then again...how can one word what I aim for to make it acceptable? It wasn't like there was anything else I could have said...or maybe there was...?' His scruntizing gaze would make her feel uncomfortable and shifting slightly in her position, would try to set that uneasiness aside. It wasn't possible though and giving up would return her gaze to the man.
She picked up on his look and moistening her lips, took a moment to consider her next set of words very carefully. 'Don't know why I'm so worried but still...' As she debated, her clone had returned with the necessary materials for a small fire. The clone set it up with ease and holding one stone on the smooth end upward in her left, the clone would use the sharper end of the right to slide across the first. This was done in several times in quick succession. Watching her clone, Haruko would listen to the sounds of the scraping stones all the while waiting for some sort of spark to appear from all the friction. After a minute or so, it would seem as if they wouldn't be able to get anything from the two stones, the clone would give it one more go and to their luck a small spark was made and the fire was lit. Leaving it to her clone to tend to it, Haruko would be careful to keep an eye on her clone. Though held together by chakra, the clone was still made of water and even if she did not release her control over it, natural elements will win out in the end. 'Best I be careful of that least I want the clone bursting on the fire...'
Still holding off on starting the next bit of conversation, Haruko would turn her gaze to the fire. She was uncertain on what it was exactly she wanted to say but she knew, no, she felt, compelled, to change his sudden bad view of her her. She didn't know why she felt so strongly about that but for now she would pin it on the fact her position in the organization was still delicate. 'Hm...' Amber eyes lost in the growing flames, the young woman would be brought back to a time when her teacher would sit her by the fire and talk to her about life. They had been reading a particular literature regarding some king and as her mind reeled through the memory, a particular saying came to mind. "...Absolute power corrupts absolutely..." Eyes drifting from the depths of the fire to the male, Haruko would take a moment for the quote to sink in before continuing. "Corruption is a hard thing to cure, I know that. After all, who can resist the cup of power? In this world, purity rarely exists. Corruption spurs from temptation of want and greed. Those in itself are the darker sides to every human being. To erase those is to erase all of humanity needs in itself. A dull world the place would be then. A place where no one seeks for more. Where all we have is all we have...and yet, someone is bound to want more and the cycle restarts..." Pausing for a bit there, Haruko would take this moment to have her clone move towards a tree before dispelling her. Watching the water return to the earth, Haruko would add in one last bit before leaving the floor open for Jouji. "...Is it wrong though, to want that small period of rest before the cycle restarts? Or, do you feel my logic is completely unjust?" Eyes back on the male, Haruko couldn't lie that she was interested in what his response will be. It's been awhile since she had a stimulating conversation and though cautious, she was enjoying this. 'Still have to be careful though...'
{Ehhehe...seems now's my turn. Sry. ><} "...so trust only in yourself and your ideals" [Primary: Great Chakra Reserves (+5/10 cp) (Overdraft)]-[Secondary: Agility (+1 eva)]-[Teritary: Intelligence] [Chakra Control (- 1 rank to jutsu + -1 to cost)]=[Summoner (Chocobos)]XXXXXXX [Chakra Pool: 59/90] [Stanima Pool: 43/60] Mizu Bunshin (Water Clone) Rank: D E [Chakra Control] Description: A more corporeal form of the Kiri Bunshin, the Mizu Bunshin technique creates a clone of the user with 1/10 of it's physical strength. This clone unlike the Kiri Bunshin, can attack an opponent and threaten to do actual damage akin to the weapons and abilities of the user. It does not posses chakra of it's own, so it cannot use any ninjutsu the user knows, nor can it think for itself beyond carrying out the initial orders of it's creator. Clone disperses after one solid blow.

Jouji rolled his eyes as she gave her spiel on her beliefs; it was utter self-righteousness masquerading as intelligent discourse on the nature of the world. What this girl was; was jilted and marked by a distaste for a certain kind of life, and because of this she was missing the actual big picture, instead thrusting herself fully into a half-baked scheme of existence that accounted only for the selfish paradigms and visions of humanity. Reality did not revolve around humans and their decisions outside of themselves were not arbitrary and sucked into a vacuum; they had real effects which were either being ignored or not noticed.
"It's not wrong, but it is stupid, and beyond that; your grappling is feeble. You'd best stay away from philosophy, it is not your forte, but obviously you've displayed a modicum of usefulness or at least a spark of a modicum, otherwise we wouldn't be talking. Now rest, there is much ground to cover and I tire of your gum-flapping and white noise" berated Jouji with a scowl, hoping his words wounded her deeply; it was necessary, for many reasons.
He would keep watch, he had slept a very long time and he was eager to be awake once more, and not even tiresome travels would be able to wrench his eyelids shut for some time.
"I live for absolute freedom, which makes me pretty stupid"
