So recently I started playing pathfinder in real life. Its fun and I know some of you guys also play RPGs. So let's discuss RPGs.

Ah, I've been playing for 11 years now, and still get down. Hard.
I haven't seen much of pathfinder, but the local game stores are intent on pushing it. I have friends that have played, and they approve greatly. I do like the fact that it is 3.5 compatible (It is just the next iteration, after all) Because I can use all of my preexisting 3.5 collection (Which is rather large) for any prestiges, feats, magic spells, etc.

I've been playing a couple of characters recently. A 7th level samurai in a typical D&D adventure. He's a little out of place and can't speak the language, but I believe it just adds to the roleplayability and character development of said samurai.

The second is a rogue/ wizard, working into the arcane trickster class. His special thing is going to be eventually dual wielding wands, (epic, I know) and if you've never taken a look at the arcane trickster for 3.5, I would highly suggest doing so. It is in the DMG, and the prestige classes in there are by far some of the best in the game.

I like pathfinder a lot, though i also have not tried any other rpgs so i can't compare it.

My two characters are a wizard that i use in a homebrew game and a fighter that i use in the pathfinder society games.

They do have arcane trickster in pathfinder, not sure how different it is from 3.5, but it looks like a fun class.

I go to the nerdiest school in America and I still have trouble finding people to RPG with... -sigh- Maybe I'm just looking in all the wrong places. I do however have no trouble finding anyone to play Pokemon with me. biggrin Just DnD... and CoC... and other tabletop RPGs...

My problem currently is that I have group to play with but currently we haven't been playing due to schedules. I also play games at the local game store, but those games are only twice a month. I've been looking to play online but have yet to have any luck finding a good game.

Finding players online and playing an online would be a bit difficult. You wouldn't have the actual face to face interaction witch kind of kills it for me. don't get me wrong, I'm sure it would be equally as awesome.

Pathfinder is a lot like 3.5. I only think they changed the experience is really the biggest change, and the one thing I'm not sure if i like in pathfinder.
