Zoids: Legend of the Blood Raven Info: The planet Zi is currently in a state of fragile recovery. Five years ago during a world war between the Guylos Empire and Helic Republic a lone man rose up to end the conflict once and for all. This man's name was kept secret from the general public but those involved in the incident remember it all too well. Using an ancient powerful zoid known as the Death Saurer this man laid waste to planet Zi. In his wake the mercenary organization known as Blood Raven was destroyed with only small bands of survivors left alive, the Guylos Military lost its high command, the Guylos capitol was almost leveled, the republic lost 60% of its forces, and the Republic capitol burned to the ground. On top of that the Guylos national treasury went missing in all of the chaos. All that was recovered from the final wreckage of the Death Saurer was a single finger in the wreckage of the cockpit. In the wake of that global tragedy the Guylos Empire and the Helic Republic had to band together to prevent global anarchy. The new unified government became the Zi Federation. The Guylos Emperor took on the role of President and is set to carry that office until retirement; while the Republic filled the senate. In order to house the refugees a new capital was constructed at the cross roads of the three continents. This city known as Federation City is a beautiful metropolis composed mainly of sky scrappers. In order to prevent a tragedy like the one from five years ago the Federal Bureau of Public Security was established. Within the F.B.P.S. the Global Guardian Enforcement Agency, or Guardians, as they are commonly referred to, was created to investigate crimes involving zoids. They investigate the criminal use of zoids as well as illegal activities within the Federal Army. The Guardians are not a military organization but more of a police agency. Many of the members are former military pilots but many are civilians who joined up when it became illegal for them to pilot a zoid otherwise. Under Federal Law 3 section C all citizens of the federation who are not a member of the Federal Army, the Guardians, or participating in a legal tournament league are barred from piloting a zoid and even those with exception are not to use one while off duty. There are many who refuse to abide by this law. There are underground battle rings, freelancers who will fight for money and use their zoids for other illegal activities, and gangs of bandits that plague towns far from military bases. For the purpose of this RP I will not accept many people outside of the Guardians Squad 6 .Geography( warning the geography is different from the anime/manga also I may add new things as we progress) The continents of Zi collided many years ago into a Pangaea. The continent is separated into three main areas: - Lelares the north-east - Tonaos the north-west - Ardacia The south. The north-east and north-west are separated by a mountain range. There are a few gaps capable of traveling through. Lelares Guygalos: The remnants of Guylos Empire's capital city. ------------------------------------------------------- Tonaos New Helic City: The charred remains of New Helic City Helios Peak: A small mountain town with a nearby military testing facility. ------------------------------------------------------ Ardacia The south is nothing more then a very large dessert. It's appearance is that of a regular dessert: sand, plateaus etc and of course your occasional oasis. Personalty: Naomi is a like a mother, she is often kind, compassionate and understanding but isn't afraid to lay down the law on her children (Squad 6) becuase she can be quite tough on them.
Bio: Originally a strategist for the Guylos Empire Naomi became tired of fighting for her country, the army life, and the lousy pay. She was recruited by Blood Raven and is part of the reason why they were so successful in waging a war against the two major powers of the time. Shortly before the incident five years ago Naomi up and left Blood Raven for unknown reasons. She spent the next year drunk for the most part and barely remembers any of it. When the Federation was formed she was contacted with an offer to join the F.B.P.S. Initially Naomi refused the offer but about a month later she accepted the offer. How ever they didn't want her as a strategist, they wanted her to command a zoid squad. It was a little awkward at first since had never actually piloted a zoid before and for a while she just piloted a Gustav that transported the squads zoids. When Max joined the squad she bacem the pilot of the Snipe Master while he became the gunner. This way the team could have a dedicated sniper and she still play a command role while doing minimal piloting.

Personalty: Much like his father, Max has a penchant for eccentricity. Generally a nice person, friendly and quite obnoxious sometimes.
Bio: Max had lived with his Aunt from the age of 5 to the age of 13. When he returned to his mother, he found that his father, Alex had apparently gone missing, and was presumed dead. Living with his mother for 4 years, he worked at the zoid mechanic shop that his father had owned, until it turned into a simple car mechanic shop. Losing interest in mechanics on anything but zoids, Max spent his spare time trying to rebuild the old gun sniper that his father had, never intending to use it. Max was sitting in the bar in town one day, when a hooded man came in, quietly. He ordered four bottles of brandy, then moved on. Max got a quick glance at his hidden face, and it looked incredibly familiar. Max recognized the hooded man as his missing father. By the time Max was out of the bar after him, the man had already gotten in his zoid and left. Thinking that because he had a zoid he must have been a member of the guardian force, Max joined up, hoping to find his father. He has been searching ever since. He joined squad 6, and became the gunner for the snipe master with Naomi Noriel, leaving his father's old custom gun sniper to gather dust. He's always on the lookout for a gun sniper, his father's signature zoid.

Other: Max acts rather coldly toward anyone who says that his father is/was a criminal. Is a good mechanic, nowhere near the skill level his father had, but working in the family mechanic shop trained his skills quite a bit. Personalty: Independent, there are very few she trusts to keep company with let alone fight along side, she has a cold demeanor that sometimes makes others uncomfortable, but when one can get around her attitude they would find her to be a loyal and trustworthy ally.
Bio: Samy was born to the southern country of Ardacia. She has a history of ruining gangs through the country and gained her first Zoid when she was 15 in a raid that took out one of the strongest gangs. Shortly after she was recruited to the Helic Republic to fight with them. At the age of 17 she lost her first Zoid in the last few weeks of the war and was given the Shadow Fox when she accepted the invitation to the Guardians.

Other: Samy works with the federation as a guardian, but wouldn't say no to a job that offered the right kind of payment. She also has a slight form of demophobia, in crowded places she would randomly start attacking people and will not stop unless restrained and taken out of the area.

Personalty: At his core Sky is a soldier, he doesn't like civilians very much or even Guardians. His loyalty to the Federation is unquestioning and he will not tolerate anything that goes against it. He is very aggressive and likes to taunt his opponents while in combat.
Bio: Sky's records are blank until his official enlistment documents. He apparently entered into a Federation military academy at the age of 14 and signed a contract for free schooling with a 10 year term of service. He grew up in a military environment while in school and upon graduation was immediately moved to the 7th Lelares Armor Division [Though there is something fishy about the paper work]. He has served in that unit for roughly one year before being transferred to Guardians Squad 6 as part of a new friendship program.

T3rran  Name: Siegfried 'Fate' Vidar

Personalty: Stereotypical fighter jockey. He can often times be seen flirting up a storm with pretty girls as they pass by. He's cocky, inside, and outside of the cockpit. He's super confident in his abilities as a pilot, and never backs down from a challenge. He's also very accident prone when not flying. He also likes to bend the rules a bit.
Bio: Most don't expect it, but, Siegfried was born in an outskirts town as a farmer. Far before the law that restricted Zoid use was put into place, he would often times fly the plantations Pteras for fun, and got so good, his task at his small village was the local crop duster at age 17. Siegfried was also a speed demon, and always pushed the Pteras over the limits. However, the law came into play, and suddenly, Siegfried was out of the job. The Pteras was taken away, never seen again. After a year of waiting, Siegfried realized that he didn't belong on the ground, but instead, an air superiority Zoid. He joined up with the Guardians, who were pretty much accepting anyone... even a small town farm boy like himself. He entered pilot school, and gained his callsign, Fate. After flight school, he was assigned to a Raynos, the fastest Zoid in the sky. Who was he to complain? Further in, he was transferred to Squad 6.

Other: Siegfried has a younger sister. Fate is short for FAst To Eject. The callsign came from his first training sortie where his Pteras' had a critical malfunction, and Siegfried ejected within the second of the explosion, barely saving his own life. The name serves the double meaning of it being Fate that he survived, and as the joke about how fast he pulled the ejection handle.

Personalty:Karina is a bit more mature than what she was 5 years ago. She is more in control of her emotions, in other words she thinks before reacting (although she will lash out in certain situations). She is loyal, kind and caring to those she is close to and will do anything to keep them safe or help them. She's still as stubborn as always though.
Bio:After the war 5 years ago Karina thought of it as part of her duty to help with the reconstruction of their world but she would do it in her own little way. Her desire to help wasn't about keeping the peace but rather to help find things that were lost. Of course to do this she needed to get permission from the Federation or else she'd risk going to jail, which is what she did. It took a while but she finally managed getting permission but it came with certain requirements she needed to follow.

-Technically due to her deal with the Federation she is considered a part of it but simply doesn't work in Squad 6. She is required to help them whenever they ask for it and report frequently to the Federation about what she is doing etc. They take advantage of her skills a lot to help get certain info as well.
-She has special permission to use a zoid as long as she follows and respects the laws etc.
-Her older brothers help her with her job.

Bio: Alex was a zoid mechanic, working for the republic before fleeing the country after being branded a traitor. A few years later, he was recruited by the now defunct organization known as Blood Raven. He is rumored to have been involved with Seto Barton, the most notorious terrorist in the world. After the events dealing with the Ultima zoid, known as the death saurer. His zoids was destroyed in the battle for the republic capitol, and his body was never found. He was presumed dead, but recent sightings of a freelancer with his description have led many to think otherwise. He has lost all his memories involving the incident 5 years ago, and his family. He is currently working in secret under Antonia Fiona Diamanta.

Personalty: Very cocky and full of contempt towards anyone and anything. He appears to not care about anyone or anything and won't really care who he puts in danger to get what or where he wants. He loves to kill and fight, and it doesn't really matter if they're friend or foe. He doesn't seem to like anyone or anything. However, what is odd about him is that he can at one point be completely calm and at other times he can blow up in your face. Extremely sadistic when it comes to torture and pain inflicted upon others. He is actually quite demonic and maniacal, especially when it comes to battle and bloodshed. He's the kind of person who's ready and willing to kill someone when need be, and even when it's not completely necessary at times; so he can be kind of hard to control. Almost always acts very smug and self-righteous towards others. Feels as though he is more elevated than others in status and thinks a lot of himself. However, he may or may not have a more kind side to him buried underneath all this psychopathic personality...
Bio: A few words can be used to describe Zei: b*****d, evil, satanic, criminal, murderer, and psychopath. However, that was not how Zei started out as a kid. He was actually a pretty normal boy when he was a little kid. He grew up in a family of four (a mom, dad, and an older brother) in the Helic Republic. His brother was drafted into the military leaving Zei and the parents at home. They never heard from him again.
During the war, their hometown was attacked and destroyed. Zei's parents died in the crossfire, and Zei himself nearly died as well, but miraculously survived with intense medical care. After that, he was placed in an orphanage and in foster care. Because of everything that had happened to him, Zei hated the Guylos Empire (for killing his parents), his brother (for leaving him and his parents alone), and even the Helic Republic to some extent. It was then that he started planning his revenge: to destroy the Helic and Guylos governments and maybe even find his brother and kill him. In order to do this, Zei nearly joined the Helic Republic Army to try to find his brother. Zei instead went about his own way and killed off some pretty major people during the war.
Unfortunately, Zei's dreams of revenge were cut short as the incident involving the Death Saurer completed the task of destruction for him. Of course, at first, Zei was damn well pissed off. However, the one good thing that came along later was running into his brother again. But Zei did not get the chance to kill him as it was only a fleeting glimpse that Zei had of the man before he had gotten into a zoid and took off. Since then, Zei's been running around doing everything in his power to exact his revenge and find his brother.

Personalty: kind, loyal, soft spoken, will smile as if nothing is wrong even if there could be something wrong. hard working, hard to read in terms of what exactly she is thinking/feeling.
Bio: Anya comes from a family of Zoid mechanics, so she has always been around Zoids and watching repairs. She was raised primarily by her father after her mother died of an infectious illness. Her father began teaching her whatever he knew about repairing Zoids and the different kinds and a little bit of piloting. Eventually, the Empire came knocking on their door to try to recruit her father as an engineer. When her father refused, Anya offered her services instead because her father had gotten considerably older by this time and she didn't think her father would live too much longer. Though her father was distressed by her decision, she eventually convinced him to let her go. At least then the Empire would leave her father be. Once she was recruited, Anya began her own private studies on Zoids, particularly those capable of flight. The Empire did own a Buster Eagle but no one was really able to control it very well. That was, until Anya came along and she is the only one who is capable of actually piloting it.
During the war, Anya's father passed away and she was left the guardian of his mechanic business and possessions and home that she grew up in. When the war ended, Anya left the military and continued on her father's business. She has no idea what happened to her Buster Eagle that the Guylos government gave to her as it had been left at a hangar in Guygalos during the final attack. She hopes that the zoid managed to escape on its own and is now wild or something. Hey, she can dream, right? Anya now lives in her hometown of Sclera (with a dog) and continues her father's business. She repairs all manner of zoids, no questions asked in terms of who owns them.

--Along with the shop and house her father left her a zoid that he had been building and taking care of specifically for Anya when he died. While she does know how to pilot it, she rarely does due to the new law about piloting.
--Anya has a special skill her father taught her. She can connect with the main CPU of the zoid. In other words, she can mentally establish a link between her mind and the internal consciousness of the zoids she is repairing/piloting by using a neural interface helmet. It makes for a much better repair job and a better functioning (aka: happier) zoid in the end.
--She is also currently working on repairing an old Whitz Wolf that she found waiting in a junk yard to be demolished. It's a project she's been working on in her spare time.

Bio: Chase has lived a normal life for 14 years; had a normal family, lived in a normal house, had a normal education. All he ever expected in life was to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a engineer like his father. However; Chase has a secret.
Ever since the catastrophic incident that happened five years ago, it has been restricted for a civilian to own a Zoid or have anything to do with a Zoid. Since Zoids were stripped from the general public, Chase had been forced to keep secret and quiet about his discovery three years ago in the forest behind his house. Chase had found damaged mechanical body parts of an abandoned Zoid that seems to be disowned and long forgotten about. Taking the initiative, Chase spent the last three years fixing and improving the Zoid to make it his own by saving up and working hard to restore the damaged robot with whatever materials he could scavenge for and afford with his hard earned money. Chase was a full time mechanical student, worked three grueling jobs, and spent each night working on his Zoid, barely getting any sleep in. Chase is often recognized as anti-social, overtly tired, and hardworking by anyone who meets him. Otherwise Chase is often unnoticed and invisible to the general public.

Personalty: Sweet and innocent, and also very cute. She's fascinated by the world around her, as well as Zoids. She's adventurous, and curious. Jenna also loves her older brother, Siegfried very much. She aspires to be a Zoid pilot one day, and idolizes Naomi and Siegfried.
Bio: Just like her brother Siegfried, she was born in the same small farm town. However, unlike all the other girls, who played with dolls, or dress up, she watched her brother fly the Pteras. And she even once was able to fly with him in the Pteras. When the law was instated and they took the Pteras away, she cried. She was even more devastated when her older brother left to become a Zoid pilot. That's when her parents sent her to live with Siegfried in his apartment after he graduated from flight school. She has since been living with him, and keeping him in line... and sometimes turns away his dates who think she's his kid.

Personalty: Quite serious but not cold, Amadeus is a man who got to where he is by being sharp, thorough, and analyzing his facts. He never shows that he is angry and acts very civil.
Bio: As the first chief of the Guardians he has so far held his position for five years running. He keeps their operations very business like and only allows what he feels will allow the agency to grow and to maintain their excellent record. Not much is known about what he did before running the Guardians though whom ever picked him for the job must have known what.

Chapter Summary
Chapter 1: New Faces: Squad 6 which was currently down a man traveled to the North of Federation City to Helios Peak where Naomi, Samy, and Max met the young boy named Chase. It was a shame that they had to meet under the circumstances that they did because their orders were to arrest him for illegal possession of a zoid. As they were escorting Chase and the confiscated zoid back to Federation City the squad was attacked by an unknown pilot. During the battle Max had to make a split second decision so that he could save Samy's life and in doing so sniped the cockpit of the attacking zoid. The team was unable to identify the attacker as the cockpit had been completely obliterated. Upon returning to Federation City Naomi spoke with the Chief of the Guardians and worked out a deal for Chase. After which the chief informed her of a transfer to the squad. Now the newest member of the squad, Sky Schwartz, will join the fray. But what does Naomi know about him?
Chapter 2: The Muffin... I Mean Masked Man: Squad 6 set out on an assignment to check out possible Blood Raven activity but the journey had several bumps along the way. Early on the squad was attacked by sleepers and during the fight Max was unable to fight because of a head injury that he had sustained the previous day. During the fight Sky demonstrated his ferocious skill as he tore apart the brunt of the sleeper force. Halfway to their mission point the squad stopped at a small town called Sam's Hole. In the local bar Sky noticed a strange person clothed in black with a mask. Hearing that the stranger had a lead on finding Alex Castillo, the most wanted man in the Federation, Sky tried to arrest him. The fugitive easily out maneuvered Sky and escaped by the time he got around to the side of the building. After the incident at the bar Fate tried to find a little romance with the fairer half of the squad but he just wasn't getting lucky. After continuing on with the mission the squad encountered the remnants of a gang who had been completely wiped out. Following a return to base and a tournament the squad will now be setting out on a new assignment.
