Really embarrassed about this.

Little itty bitty what seem to be pimples, but purple mounds with no heads are all around my inner thigh. I have at least 10 of them on each thigh. I believe it might be friction from pants to skin but they annoy the ******** out of me and sting like a mother ******** when they randomly pop.

I have tried using Neosporion on them to possibly help the healing process as well as Clean and Clear acne scrub. Nothing seems to really help, except when I use a loofa and scrub till I get peeled skin. They get softer, and less noticeable, but they are still there.

Do you guys have any ideas? Google has a whole variety of topics.

Oh, I have been increasingly getting these after morning runs. x_x

Are they raised?
Do they blanch when you press them or stay the same color?
Sorry to ask but do your thighs rub a lot when you run?
Do you feel sick anywhere else in your body?
Are they showing up elsewhere?

Sounds like some kind of heat rash or ingrown hairs, but totally listen to whatever advice Arianah dishes out, cause she always knows. xD

Slightly raised.
Stay the same color.
They dont rub a ton, I am trying to get off a lot a weight, and sadly it is all in my thighs.
Not sick anywhere else.
Just on my inner thigh.

One is harmless, one is not. Hence the question, "Which does it resemble more?"

I thought they might just be an irritation but they sound worse than that, if they are stinging and stuff. D: Doctor?

It looks like neither of those pictures. It's like acne, and instead of the red it's purple, and it doesn't really have a head unless I squeeze it. Yellow drainage and blood come out.

It doesn't sting or itch until it gets ready to burst.

Since I live in Texas now, I have to get all my papers from Ohio transferred over. Since I have Ohio Medicaid, I have to have a permanent residence. And I dont. I should go to a doctor though. Regular physician, ER, or Dermatologist?

Well don't squeeze it!

Honestly, I'd go to a general practitioner. Unless you are so sick you can't move, an ER is not appropriate and wastes resources meant for life or death situations. You may also end up waiting hours (one time we waited 10 hours in the ER for what we originally thought was an allergic reaction only to find out days later it was scarlet fever).

If it doesn't have a head *normally* it may simply be a runners rash, however with you getting yellow discharge from it, my concern is a staph infection, which if left untreated can get BAD. Runners rash is just something that happens and can sometimes be genetic but it's harmless. Without a doctor looking at it though, you won't know. Without insurance, many doctors may cut you a break or let you make payments. They may also hold on to submitting it until your insurance kicks in. However, you need to call them to find out.

i get the odd one of those. i think it's just a pimple thing due to friction and sweat. i find hydrocortisone creams help them go away faster 'cause it's an anti-inflammatory. but they can thin your skin so you aren't supposed to use them for extended periods of time.
