My band did really well this year. The whole Fest was GREAT!!!!!! After we perform, we get 2-2 1/2 hours to ourselves (with the help of the buddy system) and we get to go around the Prudential Center!!!!!! IT'S TOTALLY SWEET!!!!
My opinion:
EVERYONE SHOULD GO!!!!!!!
It was advertised on the bulletin bord outside the band andchorus rooms at school and the people who put it up are NON-BAND PEOPLE! Les gasps!!!! But luckily now that it's over, I don't have to look at it anymore as it disappeared. biggrin

It's hard for me to plan things like that since i'm on the West Coast Pacific NorthWest to be exact. The ones that i've been to are mostly on the west coast like Reno and Lionel Hampton. One of these days i should plan a trip to check this one out.

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day, he's an incredible musician...sax, clarinet, flute, bass clarinet..good stuff, all of it. Anyway, he went to this massive jazz fest in Denmark? It sounded amazing.
