Howl had experience with young children, and not just because he was the father to a rather loud, obnoxious toddler who just happened to currently reside in another world. (He was also the uncle to an obnoxious preteen, and an adorable niece; both of whom also lived in another world, but in one entirely different than the one previously mentioned). The teenage wizard was still working on that. Now he might have looked like he wasn't babysitting material with his gleaming blond hair and fancy suits.

The fact remained that he was good with children. It might have been because he had never completely grown up. He did have a childlike air to him, a certain naivity; a certain disregard for any sort of rule (unless it was forced on him by his wife, the only person in any world Howl would really listen to; and only if he felt like doing so at the time). It may have been because he had been surrounded by young children from a young age; Neil, aforementioned obnoxious preteen nephew, had been born around the time Howl was in his second year of highschool. It may have been that Howl enjoyed posing as a young child to get what he wanted.

For now--he wanted to help someone, and he wasn't one to care who. Howl's father had forcibly kicked the boy out of his house, calling him a burden. Howl had reacted in a way expected by those who understood stages of a teenager's mentality. He acted out. He was a good student, and so changed his grades (in hopes of getting attention). He had attempted drunkenness, he had attempted parties. He had attempted getting in trouble at school. He had attempted convincing his father that his mother was a whore.

He wanted attention. From anyone; and he had found that children's love was easily bought with games and fun. He could do that. He was good with children. He had magically posted fliers up all over Barton, and Durem--and every town the boy could think of.

As luck would have it Clover was out that day shopping with his young cub of a son, hugging him in his arms, as they walked through the various stores lined up on the street. It was half for fun, Clover always was a big fan of shopping, and half because he was in need of a few more seal plushies, "You know you go through these things quite fast, Snowe, love." He told the little bear cub that was currently chewing away at the plushie in his arms. Snowe loved them to pieces in a literal sense and since Clover was no good at sewing, he'd tried and only ended up with his fingers covered in p***k marks, he ended up deciding buying them in bulk was easier. There was a store on this street that got them in quite often for him, to help him keep a constant supply since, without them, Snowe would end up crying buckets of tears.

"Here we are, my little Teddy Bear." He said, shifting his son's weight from one arm to the other, then paused in front of the shop door as he saw the sign hanging in the window, "Hrm? Free babysitting?" He read the rest over in his head, finding that this idea sounded rather great! He didn't need five days a week, didn't even need such a service weekly, but even just a day when he could meet with the ones he loved would be nice. He would need to see about calling this person, to talk with him and see if he were right for watching Snowe as he would only allow the best to do so.

He wrote down the number then headed inside, walking to the area where the various stuffed animals were waiting. There was a good sized seal, likely specially ordered for them, and he set Snowe down next to it to play with before he dialed in the number for the man called Howell.

Howl was quick to answer his phone. A customer? Maybe someone was wanting to purchase a spell or two? (Wistful thinking. He hadn't been able to sell a single spell since he'd started attempting to do so). Maybe it was someone taking him on the offer to babysit. Or maybe it was Sophie, calling to--no, he didn't think she had his number. Maybe it was Kali! Had something happened to his future godson? What if something had gone wrong? If Lance had hurt Kali... Well, there was really only one way to find out who was on the other line. "Hello? Howl speaking." Which would he be today? Wizard? Caring babysitter? Loving husband? Loyal best friend that couldn't resist flirting? He hoped it wasn't a telemarketer. He had had quite a few of those; and though it was entirely enjoyable to frighten the telemarketers when they were actual, living people (which in this world, appeared rare), with his flirting, listening to them was dreadfully boring.

He decided to put his best professional face on--well, tone. "Were you looking for a babysitter?" he asked cheerfully. "Or a wizard? I have a spell for all your magical needs!" Of course, the spells would cost whoever was on the other line; depending on their budget. Howl would charge the lower class next to nothing while the upperclass (here meaning the insanely rich) were overcharged. "If you were looking for a babysitter, however--I'm available." He then waited for the person on the other line's response.

Hopefully, he would at least make a friend today, if not some money.

Clover tilted his head at the sound of the voice, sounded young he thought to himself but decided that he still might give the young man a chance. After all it was hard to judge a person by voice along over the phone, "Hello there Howl, my name is Clover." He said, then blinked as the man offered him both babysitter or spells for all of his magical needs. Wait, spells? He found himself for a moment debating that, did he need any magical spells? Did he trust himself with any of them? Probably not, Clover with magic would be a rather terrible idea.

"No, no. I am not in need of any spells but thank you. Instead I was looking for a babysitter for my son, just for a short period of time is all." He said after the decision that he most certainly needed a babysitter, not a wizard.

"Not in need of any spells? No matter, if you ever find yourself in a situation that requires any sort of spell, don't hesitate to call. A babysitter? Ah! You saw my flier," Howl beamed; he was rather proud of the flier he'd posted up around Gaia. "I'm available five days a week, all hours. Free of charge!" The wizard proceeded to provide the man with his address; well, his father's address, since Howl himself was currently residing in his father's back yard--in an invisible moving castle.

"Let's see--when would you need me?" he asked. "I'm flexible. I could give you a Sunday; but Mondays are out of the question." Mondays were when Howl devoted his time to spending time with his younger siblings. Well, he devoted much of his free time to that, really. More than the self-proclaimed wicked wizard would have liked to admit. "Is today good for you?" he asked, walking over to a notepad. "Can I ask for your phone number, Mr. Clover? I like to keep records of who I've babysat for, in case there's some sort of emergency." Not that there would be; in addition to having been trained in CPR and first aid (albeit that of thirty years ago) Howl was extraordinarily talented when it came to magic.

"Not to worry, Mr. Clover. Your son or daughter will be perfectly safe with me."

Aries was shopping for food in his favorite seafood market. His darker twin sister had been using up the food supply in his home for cooking experiments. He was understanding why she was an outcast of their clan then. Also the woman seemed to think she was a chef and could teach his daughter to cook when she couldn't even boil water.

Said daughter walked beside her father, hugging a doll with amber hair. It was a gift from her distant aunt Ivy and the little girl seemed to love it. Aries however allowed her to have the gift since he was starting to understand that Keya would be upset for days on end if she couldn't have the doll as a cuddle toy.

Aries stopped at a stand selling tuna and decided to see the quality of the fish before buying some for dinner. Keya watched her father for a moment and then looked towards anything interesting. She saw a paper on a pole, her father called them fliers. The toddler girl walked over and rose up her tiptoes to reach it, but frowned as she couldn't reach.

Aries finished buying a few tuna and glanced towards his little girl. He walked over and frowned at the flier. He read it out loud at Keya's insistence and frowned harder as he knew Howl. So did Keya.

Aries decided to call as Howl seemed a better choice than his dark twin sister for a babysitter. Keya had been wanting to see the teenager again anyway. He went to a cafe and got Keya lunch before calling the number on the flier.

Clover seemed to debate over that, free of charge...? That seemed to be quite nice of this young man to do, at the same time he felt a little guilty leaving the man to watch Snowe without paying him something. He would see about giving him a little something though, not wanting to seem cheap.

"When...? Hrm." That was a good question, when did he want the man to look after his boy? Sunday was a suggestion from the babysitter but not Monday, either of those days would have been alright but at the same time not exactly the best of days for trying to wrangle a date, "Today. Mmm, that might work." He'd need to make a couple of calls but surely one of them would be free he thought to himself, rather liking the idea, "Yes, today would be quite nice, thank you." With that he proceeded to share his number with the young man, knowing that he would need it in case of an emergency... luckily that couldn't involve being mauled by a little bear since the boy was still quite young and didn't have his teeth in. Soon though he was sure from the way he was constantly mauling his seal plushies.

"Where am I to meet you?" He asked, looking down at the boy that was going to be handed over to the babysitter, knowing that he might not be amused over the idea... he only hoped that Snowe would behave himself long enough so Clover would get a breather.
