Kind of liek the coma argument, right? "If the person is in a coma, they are no longer aware of them selves or the surrounding, its okay to kill them."
"No, that coma victum was once consciouse. The fetus was never conscious (even though evidenc e now says other wise) and my one day be conscious again"
"Wait, isn't that a potential. I thought we were arguing the hear and now, not the then and possibly later."
"No, its not a potential, its what will happen if things go right."
"Kind of liek the human fetus, right? It'll be a person by your standards if things go right."

yeah, it's kind of like talking to a mentally challenged brick wall.
then again, the wall would be less blatant and offensive.
