Origins of Yukimura Sanada - Sanada Nobushige
Yukimura Sanada is the youngest son of one of the past Daiymo's of the Fire Country. During the last great war, Yukimura's father went into war along with the other Samurai and Shinobi of the Fire Country to help out Konoha during their wars; one important one that would have helped Konoha gain some ground in invading and taking over one of the major territories of the Five Great Nations. People didn't mind sending their Daiymo out into war for he was a devastating and quite a powerful tactician in addition to the legacy of a swordsmen which all Sanada men hold. But even a man as deadly on the battlefield as him, could not have predicted what he was going to be faced with.
In one major battle, in the lengthy plains of the grass village, one of the major generals in Sanada's army, Ieyasu Tokugawa. The man wasn't truly in the army, but because he didn't help and ran away when the fight needed him the most, his betrayal was just as bad; for it was because of him that he lost not only his father, but many of his family who were slaughtered in the war. They said, that it had gotten so brutal, that the grass was red with Sanada blood for weeks before finally being washed away; and to make things worse, they found out their mother had been assassinated during her time tending to woes of their citizens. This truly grave news came to Yukimura and his brother like an anvil falling upon their hearts, just as Takeda returned from another battle elsewhere in the world. At this time, Yukimura was only five and his brother was fifteen, but they both grasped the situation they were both now in. One, was that his brother would have to become the new Daiymo, and second, was that Yukimura would have to start learning the ways of the Sanada Clan. It was then, at the funeral of his father, mother, and the men that were slaughtered, that the birth of Yukimura's pain began.
As Yukimura started to grow, another set of pain hit him when he turned eight years of age. His brother, subsequently, disappeared and left the throne to Yukimura without a word to anyone. No note, no anything that would describe his whereabouts or why he left. It truly, truly was a heart wrenching feeling to see why his brother would betray his Clan, after all they have been through. That pain added to the pain he already had, made Yukimura do his best to bring the might and power of the clan back to it's height as the new Daiymo. Even during his youth, he began to study the tactics of his father and brother, following in their shoes and at the same time make what they did better. Likewise, he broke from the way o the Samurai and took up the blade in the way of the Assassin or that of the Shadowhand. Learning the hidden art of the 'Kuri Blood Art Manipulation.' When he finally came of age, Yukimura left his position as a Daiymo to further his career as a Shinobi by entering their ranks.
