Zanpakuto Size: Sadon's Katana Sword is 42 1/8" overall with a 30 3/8" blade. The sword is made of 1060 Damascus steel. It has a hand forged blade. This unique sword has a hardwood handle with black ray skin and black leather wrap accenting the brass menuki and custom designed brass plated guard and collar. The blade is equipped with a heavy blood groove and Kanji Chisel (translates to “United Strong Steel”). The hardwood blade sheath is accented with nylon cord wrap and custom knotted rope.

Shikai Release Phrase: "Lend me your strength Nijigasumi ...."


Shikai Ability: When Nijigasumi is drenched with Sadon’s spiritual energy, it is able to create limitless amounts of light. When Nijigasumi shines, it melds with all other light. When Sadon releases it, he can use that light to take control of shadows and attack his opponent with them. Nijigasumi’s ability also allows Sadon to manipulate light for other various effects, such as:

Shikai Attack One: Dissolves his actual blade and replaces it with a blade made of pure light. If the blade is broken, it can completely cover it to allow the battle to continue. Sadon can also create blades of light separate from his zanpakuto, using them as projectiles to fire at his enemies.

Shikai Attack Two: Ability to create a large area of light around opponents, disrupting their visual perceptions, causing confusion and decreasing their chance to fight back against Sadon’s attacks.

Shikai Attack Three: The light released from Nijigasumi reigns over the dimensions that surround Sadon's opponent and alters them, thus creating this alternate dimension of light. Sadon's ability is to use this light to alter anothers perceptions, allowing Sadon to make his opponent see what he wants them to see.

Bankai Release Phrase: "Ban-Kai"

Bankai Ability: When Sadon activates his Bankai, his zanpakuto explodes into a blinding white light. Anyone within a 200 yard radius will have a very hard time seeing their own hand in front of their face, possibly blinding them for the next (1) round/post.

Bankai Attack One: Once the blast of light starts to die, Sadon’s enemy will see a multitude of twinkling lights to appear, which then form together around the opponent, creating a huge sphere which engulfs everything within a 50 yard radius. Anyone within that radius will potentially get caught in it. Immediately following that, the sphere collapses in on itself, using the compressed light to crush everything within it. Only a strong enough spiritual pressure (that of a Lieutenant rank or higher) can push back and destroy the huge sphere. The down side to destroying the huge sphere is the back lash from the explosion it will cause. The explosion is strong enough to render the enemy unconscious for a total of 3 turns. This will allow Sadon the chance to escape so he can live to fight another day or to launch a counter attack against his enemy.

Bankai Attack Two: Sadon has no other Bankai abilities .....

Lord Sadon is one of the most mysterious Shinigami in the Soul Society. His heavy use of sarcasm and mocking politeness, make it very difficult to discern his thoughts. Many find his demeanor and appearance rather unsettling and there are very few who were/are willing to trust him. Sadon seems to be fully aware of the effect he has on others and more than once has been seen toying with people's emotional states for his own amusement. Sadon speaks with a distinct Kyoto dialect, which is polite but indirect. His English is also formal and polite, but with a rather mocking and facetious undertone.

Ever since he was a child, dried persimmons have been his absolute favorite food. Sadon planted and raised many persimmon trees around his village when he was small.

When Sadon has free time, he goes on walks around the Seireitei. Although his hobby is people-watching, it seems like he is possibly hunting around and searching for an opportunity to create mischief with some poor victim.
