I saw it for the first time on the last day of 7th grade. My choir teacher had rented it and we got to watch it before we got dismissed. I only got to see it to the end of "The Point of No Return". We got it a few months later and watched it... I had lots of Chex Mix. It wasn't as yummy as Erik, though.

My first time was school actually. ninja
It was the last day of school and I eagerly wanted to get out of school so I was watching it (and loving it) while waiting for the bell to ring for the end of school. Once they got to We Have All Been Blind they put it in French and I did not understand a thing. After that my friend's parents borrowed the movie and everyone stayed up to watch it. I then became a mega phan. I bought the book, read it and since I didn't know the french abreviation things I was confused. XD
Musical-wise? March. We were in the front three rows back from teh front. Mega awesome. I spazzed everytime I heard the commerical or watched it. I would say 'Phantom' a million times.

My first time was sometime early last summer.
I rented it, but I'd heard of it before and thought it sounded interesting.
I loved it the first time.
Watched it daily, at least once, for about a month.
I'd put it in, watch it, cry, then watch it again til dinner.
Became obsessed, got soundtracks..
I don't know exactly when I became obsessed with the beauty of the story, though, but... it's definately changed my take on life, in a way.
It kind of helped me with my self-esteem issue ._.;

Omg, when I first saw it was in 6th grade, and my choir teacher showed it to us when it first came out... and man I was addicted the first time i saw it... When i went home from school i told my mom, "Mom, we watched The Phantom of the Opera and it was sooo cool, we have to go buy it," and of course we did, and that night my whole family watched it... and lol i got my sister addicted too mrgreen

Well, my friend was obsessed, and kept talking about POTO. I, of course, despised it. (I still can't believe that was me.) Then later, about 7 months later, I saw it. The 2004 (and kind of suckish, but hey, I saw it.) version. Although I couldn't hear half of it through my friends talking, I still was like eek *stare...drool...* then... "Shut up! We're trying to watch!" Then her dad walks in saying "What? You're watching it again?" Ash is like, "Uh, no. This is still the first time." And that's how it started for me. AND NOW I'M GONNA SEE IT IN AUGUST! Wait...this is bad...I WANNA SEE IT NOW!!!!!!!!!! RAWR! (eheh...I'm obsessed, can't you tell?)
