 RAITON Ninjutsu (忍術; Literally meaning "Ninja Techniques"), is a term referring to almost any technique which allows the user to do something that they otherwise would be incapable of doing.
Below you will find a list of Various Raiton (Lightning) Style techniques/Jutsu. They Range anywhere from E Ranked Jutsu, all the way up to S Ranked, and Hiden Techniques.

E Rank - Raiton: Static Current
With a few basic hand signs the user is able to channel a thin jolt of electricity into an opponent, this can only be done by touch.
E Rank - Raiton: Nerve Shock
With a few basic hand signs the user is able to channel a small shock upon contact that leaves their opponent stunned and vunerable for moment's notice.

D Rank - Raiton: Lightning Clone
A jutsu that creates a clone made of lightning based chakra. Unlike the normal clone jutsu, being just an illusion that cant attack, a lightning clone has a solid form due to the electrical chakra the fills its form. They can attack as a real person could, but only with a quarter of the original's strength. To make up for this, they can deliver minor stings of electricity with their physical attacks.
D Rank - Raiton: Lightning Senbon Jutsu
The user focuses their chakra into a single finger after making a few hand signs and then shoots the lightning chakra from their finger. The projectile looks like a Senbon.
D Rank - Raiton: Static Wall Jutsu
Emitting a thin sheet of electric chakra from their palms the user strikes out to block the opponent, the blocks are placed in a manner that the chakra from the palms fall into a barrier-like wall.
D Rank - Raiton: Surge Transfer Jutsu
One of the most basic raiton jutsu that most Genin learn after discovering their element. The user fills their body with a surging electrical current in which they can then pass on a current to anything they touch, including an opponent.
D Rank - Raiton: Current Assault Jutsu
The user fires a ray of shocking currents from their hands against any living creature within 10 feet. If the currents hit, their effects are much like that of a taser, causing temporary muscle spasms that can cause the opponent to lose control of his entire body momentarily.
D Rank - Raiton: Electric Load Jutsu
User charges a fair amount of electrical chakra into a limb of their choice and release all of it upon contact to transfer it into a limb of their opponent, causing it to cramp up and stiffen as the electrical current messes with nerve signals.
D Rank - Raiton: Raikyū [Lightning Release: Lightning Ball ]
Charging chakra in their hand the user can create a ball of electrical energy and launch it at the enemy.
D Rank - Raiton: Denpō Sekka [Lightning Release: Telegram Flash ]
The user charges chakra into their hand and then can slam his hand onto the ground and cause lightning to spread from his hand to underneath the opponent.
D Rank - Raiton: [Lightning Release: Shock ]
The user sens out a small lightning bolt from their arm at the opponent, shocking them in the process of impact.
D Rank - Raiton: Sandā Sāburu [Lightning Release: Thunder Sabre ]
The user places their hands in front of the opponents body and sends an electrical charge to them. This jolts the opponent back a few feet with a short quick shock.
D Rank - Raiton: Raiton no Yoroi [Lightning Release: Lightning Armour ]
The user wraps their body in a layer of lightning chakra that, instead of being used offensively, is used to electrically stimulate the user's nervous system. The technique speeds up neural synapses to react faster, and to push physical prowess to the absolute limit, allowing for tremendous raw speed.

C Rank - Sandaa Saaburu - Thunder Saber
The user will generate lightning in their hand and then strike their target, causing an explosive impact.
C Rank - Raiton: Thunder Crash Jutsu
The user sends a sphere of lightning at the opponent that explodes upon contact releasing a temporary, deafening boom of thunder and electric explosion that can stun and deal harmful shocks to the opponent all at once.
C Rank - Raiton: Lightning Blast Jutsu
User releases an instantaneous blast of lightning from their hands that has a fairly wide range and will tend to engulf anyone caught in it's path. If hit directly by this jutsu, one will experience a fantastic amount of pain and be left in a critical condition after it subsides. If hit from point black range, there's no doubt someone would instantly be killed or even at the very least put in a near death state.
C Rank - Raiton: Lightning Dragon Blast Jutsu
Using this technique, the user creates a large dragon of yellow lightning energy, which they will use to cleave their enemies in half and burn them to a crisp.
C Rank - Raiton: Lightning Burst Jutsu
A defensive jutsu in which the user quickly expels electrical chakra from the body in an instantaneous burst that shields them from any incoming long or close ranged attacks and practically fries anything caught in it's sudden wrath.
C Rank - Raiton: Chidori [Lightning Release: Chidori ]
This technique channels a large amount of lightning chakra to the user's hand. The amount of chakra is so great that it becomes visible. The high concentration of electricity produces a sound reminiscent of many birds chirping, hence the name. Once the technique is completed, the user charges forward and thrusts the Chidori into the target.
C Rank - Raiton: Shichū Shibari [Lightning Release: Two Pillar Bind ]
The user shoots two balls of lightning out beside the opponent doing so each ball shoots a long stream of lighting towards the other, shocking the opponent in the process, and sometimes maybe even paralyzing them.
C Rank - Raiton: Raijū Hashiri no Jutsu [Lightning Release: Lightning Beast Running Technique ]
By manipulating lightning chakra into their hand, the user can make the lightning expand to create the form of a hound. The hound remains connected to the user's hand, allowing them to control it during its attack.
C Rank - Raiton: Raiton Kage Bunshin [Lightning Release: Lightning Shadow Clone ]
his technique allows the user to make a shadow clone infused with lightning. Because it is a shadow clone, it is able to perform techniques and interact with the environment due to it having physical substance; and also evenly distributes the user's chakra to each clone. If the clone is injured, it will revert to its natural lightning-state, at the same time electrocuting whatever it is touching.
C Rank - Raiton: Purazuma Bōru [Lightning Release: Plasma Ball ]
can create a plasma barrier around her to serve as a defense which protects her from incoming attacks. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of her choice in a wave.
C Rank - Raiton: [Lightning Release: Bolt ]
Similar to shock this jutsu the user charges into both arms, and can now shoot at least two lightning bolts from each arm at the opponent.

B Rank - Raiton: Lightning Sparrow Jutsu
Quite simply just a fast paced lightning jutsu. One forms the needed hand signs and puts both hands forward, charging the chakra before a sparrow shaped lightning creature is made, it can be controled to an extent, once fired off, it can change direction up to only 30 degrees in any which way.
B Rank - Raiton: Lightning Pheonix Jutsu
Though it does not have anything to do with a phoenix, it does give one electrical wings. Able to deflect up to D-rank fuuton or C-rank of other elements. Obviously it still takes equal chakra, however these serve a second purpose. Flight. It allows one to fly, so in a matter of speaking, but it costs D-rank per post to do such.
B Rank - Raiton: Lightning Redirection
One woould note. Raiton can hurt you. Easily. So what would happen if for say, one needed to re-direct it? Well, this jutsu is just that. Performing this jutsu is seal-less but requires the user to have both hands free anyways. As long as it makes sense, the user can catch a raiton jutsu with one hand, and re-fire it out with the opposite hand. Basically, one could do this to say a bolt of raiton, but not say, the chidori or the alike. This jutsu takes B-rank cost + the cost of the raiton jutsu re-directed. This also cannot ever be used on Kinjutsu or S Ranked Jutsu.
B Rank - Raiton: Thunder Dragon Jutsu
By releasing their own lightning based elemental chakra into the around them, the user begins to shift their chakra around and shape it into the form of a giant, majestic dragon. The lightning dragon forms from behind the user and towers high above them to stare down any opponent that dares to face it. The giant sky dragon takes on the appearance it's master wishes for it to have and can be controlled by the movement of the users hands and fires lightning bolts from it's mouth. Begin struck full force and directly by this jutsu can leave the opponent in a critical condition after dealing unbelievable amounts of pain and damage.
B Rank - Raiton: System Rewire
A jutsu in which the shinobi strikes the center of their opponent's spine to release a surging current through it. This current interrupts all of the brain's signals and redirects them to rewire all the body's nerves. This causes the victim of the jutsu to fall to the floor, unable to move until the jutsu wears off. The users nerves return to normal in up to 2 post, when the jutsu has fully worn off.
B Rank - Raiton: Spherical Lightning Shield Jutsu
This jutsu forms a spherical shield of intense lightning around the user. The user must remain still to keep the jutsu active and anyone the comes into direct contact with the shield receives dangerous burns and is instantly electrified. The shield may only be kept up for up to 4 of the users post. Attacks below the shield's rank, will be deflected and taijutsu is completely useless against it. Some elemental based jutsu of the same rank can weaken the shield so that it's post limit is reduced to two, but any lightning or fire techniques are simply nullified by the shield. Wind based attacks of one rank lower and up can nullify the shield.
B Rank - Raiton: Raigeki no Yoroi [Lightning Strike Armor]
The user will envelope their body in a protective armor of lightning that will harm anyone who dares strike them directly. Whoever was foolish enough to strike them will get stunned for 2 post.
B Rank - Raiton: Chidori Eisō [Lightning Release: Chidori Sharp Spear ]
The original Chidori gained its power by shaping it into a form sufficient for an electrical discharge and using it together with the user's own "thrust". This technique uses shape transformation to form the original Chidori into a spear or blade-shape, adapting it for mid-range attacks
B Rank - Raiton: Chidori Senbon [Lightning Release: Chidori Senbon ]
It is specialized in more speed, by being transformed into countless sharp senbon, all aimed at the enemy. By increasing the amount of chakra used, the number of senbon also increases.
B Rank - Raiton: Rairyū no Tatsumaki [Lightning Release: Lightning Dragon Tornado ]
The user brings lightning down upon his body. The current will be contained within and around their form. He will then begin to spin in place forming a whirling vortex of wind and electricity. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon's head and will cover the area in front of him. It will then strike out against his opponent and painfully trap them in the vortex.
B Rank - Raiton: Shichū Shibari [Lightning Release: Four Pillar Bind ]
The user shoots four lightning balls into the ground around the opponent, which then shoot bolts of lightning, immobilising the target and possibly doing damage to them.
B Rank - Raiton: Torunēdo Raitoningu [Lightning Release: Tornado Lightning ]
The user generates electrical energy in her palms that she can whip around in order to attack the opponent, capable of striking at various angles.
B Rank - Raiton: Gian [Lightning Release: False Darkness ]
The user emits lightning in the shape of a spear from its mouth, which then pierces the enemy. Its destructive power is great enough to even pierce through rock.
B Rank - Raiton: Kuroi Kaminari [Lightning Release: Black Lightning ]
Not much is known about it but as the name suggests, the lightning produced by this ability's techniques is black in color. It surges through both arms of the user and flows forth on the ground shooting at the opponent before raising up and striking them on the chest.

A Rank - Raiton: Ultimate Discharge
One...two... five or even ten is not enough. This jutsu creates 50 bolts of raiton chakra all D-rank in power. Not enough to kill or really even harm, but it can easily deflect on-coming projectiles and make quick use of intimidation. The If one is hit by a bolt, they simply receive a slight jolt and a small burn, hardly even noticeable at that..
A Rank - Raiton: Chidori Nagashi (Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current)
This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electrically charged chakra from their body. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it only paralyzes. The lightning can be channelled through metal objects, as well as spread out into the air or ground.
A Rank - Raiton: Ikadzuchi no Kiba [Lightning Bolt Fang]
The user will send a plume of an electrified chakra-like essence into the clouds above to activate bolts of lightning to rain down upon a target. Even if there are no clouds above in the sky the jutsu will make clouds out of chakra.
A Rank - Raiton Kage Bunshin no Jutsu(Lightning Shadow Clone Jutsu]
This technique allows the user to make a shadow clone infused with lightning. Because it is a shadow clone, it is able to perform jutsu and interact with the environment due to it having physical substance. If the clone is injured, it will revert to its natural lightning-state, at the same time electrocuting whatever it is touching.
A Rank - Raiton: Raikiri [Lightning Release: Lightning Cutter ]
The Lightning Cutter is an enhanced and concentrated form of the Chidori with the same effects and drawbacks.Because the Chidori is already powerful on its own, the Lightning Cutter requires better chakra control, which is exemplified in its appearance. The Chidori appears as simply a mass of white electrical chakra in the user's hand, while the Lightning Cutter is more focused, blue in color.
A Rank - Raiton: Chidori Nagashi [Lightning Release: Chidori Current ]
By releasing the Chidori in every direction, an electrical discharge flows from the user's entire body allowing him to affect multiple enemies. When using this attack on a great number of enemies at once, it can effectively double as an instant defense. The body of the person touched by the Chidori will misinterpret the lightning nature as "electrical signals from the nerves", making its muscles contract.
A Rank - Raiton: Jūrokuchū Shibari [Lightning Release: Sixteen Pillar Bind ]
A more powerful version of Lightning Release: Four Pillar Bind in which the user creates sixteen giant balls of lighting to surround and shock the enemy. ONce having done that they immediately charge the opponent and explode as they come together.
A Rank - Raiton: Kaminari Shibari [Lightning Release: Thunder Binding ]
This technique lets the user create a three-sided wall of electricity to bind their opponent. The user must have three conductors to stick in the ground to create the points. Furthermore, once the enemy is inside, if they come into contact with the wall they will be electrocuted. The only way the technique can be broken is if an outside party were to strike one of the walls with a strong enough attack, which will then deactivate the other walls.
A Rank - Raiton: Chidori: Jinrai [Lightning Release: Chidori Thunderclap ]
The user performs a Chidori while in mid-air and then releases all the lightning chakra to create a giant lightning bolt.

This jutsu is an advanced form of Chidori.
S Rank - Raiton: Chidori Raimei (Lightning Style: 1000 Birds Thunderstorm)
A chidori that spreads from the users palm into lightning bolts that cover a circular area destroying all thats in its way.
SS Rank - Limelight (Raimuraito)
Limelight is a Ninjutsu utilizing the Lightning Element. Regarded as one of the ultimate Raiton jutsu, Limelight is created through the simultaneous Raiton usage of four users. To begin, each ninja will take their place in one of the four cardinal directions. The ninja will then activate the jutsu, sending Lightning from their location over the center of the target. When all four Lightning arcs converge, they combine to rain down massive destruction on the area directly underneath. The jutsu is powerful enough to totally turn a village below into ash. The jutsu requires all four ninja to activate, if one of the users is taken out, the technique will fail.
S Rank - Raiton no Yoroi [Lightning Release Armour]
Raiton no Yoroi in a Ninjutsu which utilizes the Lightning Element. After surrounding and infusing their body with the Lightning Element, the user will greatly increase their speed, power and reaction time. This Lightning chakra will also act as a defensive shield, being able to greatly decrease the strength of incoming attacks, like a Chidori. The increase in speed will also grant them reflexes on par with Yondaime Hokage. These abilities can also be used in conjunction with Taijutsu to create even deadlier attacks.
S Rank - Raiton: Chidori: Raimei [Lightning Release: Chidori Thunder ]
A variant of Chidori, it is a lightning storm Chidori that devastates the area. Sending several bolts of lightning in the form of Chidori around the user.
S Rank - Raiton: Raikiri Issen [Lightning Release: Lightning Cutter One Flash ]
Using Lightning Cutter the user runs extremely fast towards his target, then he takes the target with him, dragging the body on the ground for a long time and finally ejecting them from the power of the lightning cutter.
S Rank - Raiton: Kirin [Lightning Release: Kirin ]
The user draws natural lightning directly from thunder clouds to supplement the power of his strike and controls it with chakra. Unlike most techniques, which are based on the user's chakra, this one uses natural lightning.
S Rank - Raiton: Raisō: Ikazuchi no Utage [Lightning Release: Banquet of Lightning ]
The user can create several thunderbolts that cut through the ground until they hit the enemy.

Hiden Rank - Raiton: Kuropansa [Lightning Release: Black Panther ]
After generating black lightning from their body which takes the form of a panther, the user can manipulate it to affect multiple victims at once by electrocuting them.
(Must know Black Lightning to Preform)
Hiden Rank - Raiton: Raikiri: Sōraishin [Lightning Release: Double Lightning Quake ]
The user comes up and punches the jaw of his opponent, jumps back away from the opponent to form a Lightning Cutter in-between his two hands, then splits it in two, charges his opponent, leaving two streams of light, strikes them with one Lightning Cutter, sending them into the air, repeatedly hitting them with that one Lightning Cutter in a zig-zag formation into the air, back and forth, before coming above his opponent and finally slamming his second Lightning Cutter into his opponent, driving them into the ground.
