that I can get bored of video games and other more advanced entertainment before I'd get bored of messing with a slinky?

Nope. A slinky is the ultimate form of entertainment. That's why they've been fun since forever, and games get one- upped constantly. Slinky= always fun. Game= fun one time.

No, the smallest things will interest me as well. Sometimes I find video games boring and will go to do other things.
