These copies will fade when they are attacked by a zanpakuto. The duplicates are able to surround any person and hold them down while the real Akutenshi delivers the killing blow. Bankai: Bankai Name: Bankai Description: Eight of SwordsBankai Release Incantation: Bankai Bankai Ability: It can shoot fire from all eight swords at once. Powered Generic Attack: The venom of the bankai attacks the central nervous system, and can paralyze for a maximum of two minutes (Two posts). Attack #1: Hebi Nakami (Snake Blades)- Akutenshi throws seven of the blades into the ground around the target, and they turn into snakes, which bind the opponent's movements while Akutenshi kills them. Attack #2: Kinen Fusei (memory revision)- The blades turn into ghosts from the person's past, who try and take away the target's reason to fight. The attack will fail if the person has no real reason for fighting, or if they have no ghosts from their pasts. If the technique fails, then Akutenshi will be left completely defenseless. Attack #3: Daidan'en (Finale)- All of the swords combine into one sword with a blade of blue flames, in a manner similar to Byakuya's Senbonzakura Kageyoshi: Hakuteiken. He died at the age of 25, as a result of the Black Death. This resulted in Akutenshi's fear of disease later on. Akutenshi was a prodigy who managed to graduate from the Shino Academy within a period of 2 years. During this time, Akutenshi still was alone due to his classmates thinking he was rather creepy. He became a captain in a short period due to his abilities. Because he has no real knowledge of the people around him, some of the other captains wonder if Akutenshi is capable of leading a squad.
