so last night im looking into my computers inner hardware, and i spot a big Fcc compliant on the harddrive. and so i deside to take a look and see what that meant exactly.

and while i havent read it all yet the first line seemed interesting enough

Are you talking about the V-chip? Some computers can act as televisions or similar devices. Hell, even the Playstation 2 had parental controls that could be enacted to keep DVDs of certain ratings from working in them.

Just about anything that can play video has V-chip-like capability anymore.

Can I ask what specific part of your computer had this sticker? Are you sure it was the hard disk drive and not the CD/DVD drive? Was it just one chip on the motherboard? It might be helpful to know the specifics.
