RULES & Guidelines//

xxxxxx1. FLAGSHIP RULE, Always respect your colorist. This is our flagship rule. While we also expect you to respect one another while in our shop or guild; your colorist deserves to be treated with respect. This will be elaborated on in depth in some of the more specific rules in Customs and Breedings respectively.

xxxxxx2. Slots:: Do not post for a custom or breeding if a colorists slots are not open. This is rude and disrespectful to the artist. They might have slots closed due to being on hiatus, or a heavy workload. Some colorists also work for other shops; so they have workloads there to meet as well. Posting for an order when their slots are not open is unacceptable and will get you penalized. Only exception allowed here is for bribes, however, be sure to make sure if the colorist wants you to post in their thread or pm them about bribes. Everyone has their own preference; follow that preference.

xxxxxx3. Consequences of poor behavior:: We reserve the right to penalize people who violate our flagship rule; ignore our guidelines; continually post orders in any/various colorists' slots when they aren't open with complete disregard for a colorists methods; or being rude or curt with a colorist doing work for you.

***Consequences may include, but are not limited to:: An individual colorist barring you from their work thread, either temporarily or permanently; revoked custom or breeding privileges temp/perm; gray listing in the shop across the board, thereby disallowing the person on gray list from being able to make any shop purchases.

xxxxxx4. We reserve the right to create new rules and guidelines any time we see fit. If there is a situation that behooves us to create something to prevent drama or other unnecessary stressful situations; we will make new rules. Please be advised.

xxxxxxCustoms//
xxxxxx~Not all colorists have the same abilities or styles when it comes to edits. It is foolhardy, irresponsible, and borderline rude to approach all colorists with the exact same expectations. Doing so will only result in your own disappointment should you commission work from someone who isn't able to draw well, shade well, etc etc...

xxxxxx~In regards to cosplays; you do NOT need to have reserved it first in order to buy one from a colorist. The reserves system is just there in case you cannot buy it right away; but you were hoping to prevent someone from pulling it out from under you.

FOR EXAMPLE: You suddenly feel the need to buy a Rainbow Brite cosplay from, say, mayamage2. Sometimes her custom slots are open. If no one has it on reserve, then you may go ahead and get it.
xxxxxx~If another person HAS a cosplay on reserve, and they are still under their 3 months to get it, you may not purchase that same cosplay... Not in another style/outfit, etc... Wait until their 3 months are up; if they still haven't purchased it yet, then you may try for it.
xxxxxx~Not all colorists are comfortable doing cosplays. Other colorists might not be comfortable dressing bunnies in full body clothing. Every colorist reserves the right to refuse a custom request if they personally do not feel capable or comfortable doing certain things. If you have a problem with this, see our flagship rule please.

xxxxxxBreedings//
xxxxxx~Not all colorists have the same abilities or styles when it comes to edits. It is foolhardy, irresponsible, and borderline rude to approach all colorists with the exact same expectations. doing so will only result in your own disappointment should you commission work from someone who isn't able to duplicate heavy, complex edits in a breeding.
xxxxxx~Colorists are entitled to handle breedings in whatever way they see fit. Some might roll for the number of babies in the main thread, or their workshop thread, or in their private staff work thread in the staff area of the guild. All of these are acceptable.

~~This also includes staff that may decide on edits how they like. They can just outright decide to pass edits to all your babies, some of your babies, or none of your babies, it's their choice. Just because you are breeding 2 parents with edits (no matter their level of editing), it will not 100% guarantee you receiving babies with those same edits or any version of those edits.

**In regards to breeding where edits pass on; some colorists may choose to withhold the edits for the adult stage only. This is also acceptable. It is a colorists prerogative to do so; remember, breedings are surprises!

~~BRIBED BREEDINGS// Exceptions to this would be in the event of bribed breedings, and if the colorist in question feels like allowing you some inspirational contributions; but no colorist is obligated to give you that. Sometimes it will depend on how much you bribe, the colorists abilities, and such. Also, how many babies you're allowed will depend on the amount of your bribe and if the colorist feels it's fair enough to give you however many you want. If you have a problem with this, see our flagship rule please!

~~Breedings are ultimately surprises. What you end up with as a product of both parents is a mystery. Sometimes one parent's genetics might play more of a role than another. however, if you want to get into the brass tacks of the matter, think of it like this: when rabbits breed; while hair or other biological elements are likely to pass, just because one rabbit has a color or scar, it doesn't mean children they give birth to would necessarily have it. Maybe ic'ly one of the expecting parents made one to pass on to one of their kids?

::::If we find people giving the colorists grief or behaving badly in response to any of their breeding results, this person may be gray listed, have their breeding privileges revoked temporarily, or in some cases can just be permanently barred from an individual colorists slots if an owner is rude to them.::::

~Unless you own both bunnies involved in a breeding; do not make plans to give out babies or anything else until the other owner has had a chance to see them. It doesn't matter if you paid the whole breeding fee. That act is out of courtesy and in no way forfeits the other owner's right to see babies and choose before any decisions are made on passing out. What if they wanted to share with a friend to bring them into the shop? Also, if it involves someone new to breeding; it might lessen their experience.

Wait Times and Limits//

Custom Limits//
~No one person may claim more than one custom slot when a colorist opens multiple slots.

**This is unfair to people who can't be on Gaia 24/7, and never get a slot.

**It is also disheartening to new people in the shop to see only the same small handful of people always getting them all the time.

~We will have a 3 full custom limit a month now. Once you've purchased three full customs, you have to wait until the next month before you can buy anymore. As our shop grows, that time or quantity may be reduced. Don't be surprised or angry if we need to do so.

BreedingLlimits//
~No one person may claim more than one breeding slot when a colorist opens multiple breeding slots. You may (the owner), however, be involved in more than one breeding at a time.

~We will have a 3 breedings limit a month now. Once you've purchased three breedings, you have to wait until the next month before you can buy anymore. As our shop grows, that time or quantity may be reduced. Don't be surprised or angry if we need to do so.

~Once a bunny has babies, they must wait a minimum of 2 weeks before they are ready to breed again. This is 14 days. ((In the future, we may change this value due to shop growth and need))

~Unless you own both bunnies involved in a breeding, do not make plans to give out babies or anything else until the other owner has a chance to see them. It doesn't matter if you paid the whole breeding fee. That act is out of courtesy, and in no way forfeits the other owner's right to see babies and choose one for themselves before any decisions are made on passing them out. What if they wanted to share one with a friend, to bring them into the shop? Also, if it involves someone new to breeding, it might lessen their experience.

Wait Times//
~Your colorist has a minimum of One months time to deliver your custom or breeding before you are allowed to send a POLITE pm, or post a request in-thread as to the progress of this.

**There will be zero tolerance for violations on this. If we see you even trying to 'subtly' or blatantly ask about something that's not even three weeks past, you will be warned once. Further nagging when the month hasn't passed, and you will receive penalties. Give them their month at least.**

***Also, keep in mind that colorists have real lives too; sometimes, they may need to take an emergency hiatus or semi hiatus. Rest assured, your owed work will be done/grown. If you don't hear ANYTHING from this person in three months time, you may at liberty, cancel your trade/order and repost it with a new colorist, as long as you strike through the original order and explain why, citing reordering as your reason.***

~For certing; certists also have a month to get it done initially. If a month has passed since you posted new info, then you may ask nicely in the thread. Being curt or rude will only get you in trouble.
