Tags and Tournament Types

Ranks
Generally monsters should not be entering tournaments that are in ranks that are beyond what they are in. However it is possible to enter a tournament that is either one rank higher or lower than your actual rank. There are side effects if you do this however.

Entering a lower rank
Being stronger you have a +25% bonus to your rolls. However due to the ease of things both the monster and player earn no EXP.
Entering a higher rank
This is difficult but not impossible. You rolls are at a -25% penalty due to being outranked. Entering a higher rank tournament does not count towards ranking up requirements.

F rank tournaments are free-for-alls
Anyone can enter no matter the rank or if they have a monster. There is a magic to these tournaments that make all combatants the same power level. Be careful, this is where a baby blob can defeat a huge dragon. This is also the only tournament type that native monster species can enter.

D rank tournaments are for newbies and young monsters
All newly made monsters belong to this rank. Generally you need your own monster but loaners can be given. Starting now native monsters can not participate in fights.

C rank tournaments

B rank tournaments

A rank tournaments are for veterans
...

S rank tournaments are for the elite
S rank is the highest rank possible. Anyone in this rank is a star. These tournaments will often be for rare items and monsters.

Rules

(01) You can only enter one monster in a tournament no matter how many characters you have.

(02) If you miss a day's roll then your character and their monster failed to show up and forfeited that match.

(03) Battle effecting items must be played when you roll. They can not be used after you have seen the results.

(04) Please do not edit or delete your rolling posts. If you do post the form and forget to roll then just immediately post again with an apology and actually roll this time. This is also the same response if you accidentally roll the wrong thing.

(05) You can only play a total of 1 battle effecting item in a tournament unless otherwise noted.
