• Subject's Mannerisms: Hikaru is markedly sharp-witted for someone his age. He acts his age most of the time, with bright smiles, sunny expressions, and fascination with anything and everything that moves, but he is more then adept at fighting, and is able to shed his childlike behavior for a more calm, assertive, and altogether more frightening countenance in battle. He is incredibly perceptive, and is able to resist genjutsu better then most, and few things slip his mind or his eye in battle. He enjoys making friends and is fiercely loyal to them.
  
  Underneath the childish countenance is a hidden pain from the loss of his mother. He inwardly hates himself for causing her death, and continuously beats himself up over her, not helped by the constant verbal crucifixion he receives from his father.

  Hikaru is a demon. In his father's eyes, at least. Hikaru's mother was a kind, gentle woman, or so he was told, because she died in childbirth. With him. She had never had complications with birth before, when she had her first child, Kisuke, but when Hikaru was born he tore one of her arteries and she bled to death in the emergency room. His father has dealt with it by blaming her death on Hikaru. Every day that Hikaru was in the academy, he came home to constant abuse from his father. It was always "Why did you bother coming home, you murderer," "How do you live, knowing you killed your own mother?" Every day. Every day. Horrible. Sad. Blood. Tears. Scars.
  
  Hikaru was lucky, if you can say that - at least his brother didn't share the hatred. If anything, Kisuke has been more then devoted to Hikaru, coming to all his Academy tests, picking him up from school, even after he became a Chuunin, with a much busier schedule. And at the age of 16, when children legally become adults in the Leaf Village, Kisuke took Hikaru away from their father, from the jibes, the insults, the hatred, the constant reminder of Hikaru's unknowing hand in the death of his own mother. Hikaru is eternally grateful to Kisuke for this, and repays him by keeping Kisuke's house in shape and cooking all of his meals.
  
  For some reason, Hikaru remembers his birth, but only snatches of it. Some parts don't seem right. Some parts don't seem right at all. There are no arteries a baby can tear while being born. Nor did he remember his mother bleeding all that much until after he was born. But what does he know? How can a baby's memories be accurate? He couldn't say for sure. But it eats away at his mind, almost as surely as his mother's death does. The desire to solve this mystery consumes him also, and his lifelong wish became to be the best ninja he could be, and find out the truth behind the mother he never knew.

- Water Release: Liquid Bullet

Description : The user kneads chakra, and converts it into water, and
then spits it out in the form of condensed balls. The high-speed waterball
attack possesses just as much power to kill as an actual gunshot. While
this is a water release technique, it can still be employed someplace
where no water is available, which is a great advantage. It's also possible
to increase the power of destruction of the balls themselves by building up
the chakra inside of them. The number of bullets is determined while
kneading chakra. By taking advantage of gravity, the bullets can brutally
increase in power.

Description : The Summoning Technique is a space–time ninjutsu
that allows the summoner to transport animals or other things across long
distances instantly.

One method involves just hand seals and blood. With this, before an
animal summoning can be performed, a prospective summoner must first
sign a contract with a given species. The contract can come in the form of
a scroll or a tattoo, which is signed in the contractor's own blood and once
signed is valid even after the contractors death. After this, they need only
perform the hand seals, offer an additional donation of blood (biting the
summoner's finger being the most common way to obtain blood), and use
the same hand they signed the contract with to summon the creature. The
amount of chakra used during the summoning determines how big the
summoned creature can be. In the anime, it was shown that if a user
attempts to summon an animal without first signing a contract, the user
will be teleported to the home of the animal they have a natural affinity for.

An alternate form of summoning is to just use a scroll without any hand-
signs. In this case hand signs are not necessary, with chakra not even
being necessary sometimes. By using this method, one can summon
creatures with whom one does not have a contract with.

While most summoners have only been shown capable of summoning one
type of creature, some have been seen summoning several different
animals and even people. The ability to perform a summoning can be
removed with the Contract Seal.

When an animal is summoned it is transported from its place of residence
to the summoner's location. Once summoned, the animal can perform a
task or help the user in battle. The summon is not required to help the
user, and may be more of a hindrance than an ally. In addition, summons
are able to summon their summoner. They may also wear a forehead
protector, suggesting a loyalty to only one village.

Summoning can serve as a base for other jutsu. In these cases,
summonings may not be restricted to creatures, as some ninja show by
summoning corpses and defences.

Items can be "summoned" from scrolls. Because the items are not
summoned from anywhere, instead only being released from storage, no
blood is needed and thus it is not a conventional summoning. Characters
have on occasion been shown summoning weapons such as kunai and
giant shuriken, sometimes without hand-signs.

- Summoning Technique: Tsubaki

Description : Tsubaki is Hikaru's loyal, (if at times a little cheeky)
kitsune summon. She is one of few kitsune with a combination chakra
nature, utilizing Steel Release. Like all other kitsune, her transformation
goes well beyond a ninja's, as she can transform and remain transformed
until she runs out of chakra or dies. As a Steel Kitsune, she can convert
her body into metal and manipulate it like a fluid, following Hikaru's attacks
as a liquid blade to provide additional damage. In addition, she can
transform into a scythe, which Hikaru uses as adeptly as his swords, to
provide longer range and better defensive stances to the boy. They have
only one Resonance right now.

Description : A Resonance that combines Explosion and Silfarion's
powers. Hikaru sprints faster then the eye can follow, flying through
multiple enemies. He appears at the other side of the enemies. There is a
pause, then 12 small explosions follow his path through the enemies.
Useful for damaging multiple enemies.

- Shadow Clone Technique

Description : Similar to the Clone Technique, this technique creates
clones of the user. However, these clones are actual copies, not illusions.
The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each
clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable
of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually
disperse after one or two solid blows. They can also disperse on their own.
The clones will be created in roughly the same condition as the original.

Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the actual person even by the
Byakugan because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and
aren't made from any other substance.

Description : The first form of Hikaru's weapon, Eisenmeteor. It's
really nothing special. It's a broad, long sword, almost the breadth of
Hikaru himself. It's pretty heavy, and almost no one besides Hikaru can lift
it, but for him it's very light. He hefts it around with two hands. It's ability is
rather dull, as well. It (and only it) resists ninjutsu. It can't be burnt,
shocked, dented, or otherwise damaged by ninjutsu. You can take a lighter
to it, but a fireball will do nothing. It doesn't conduct Lightning Release
techniques, either. However, it is the first form, so no one knows quite what
to make of it.

- Explosion
The Explosive Sword

Description : A burnished, gold-colored sword. It is long and thin,
with intricate designs curling up the flat of the blade. It has no cutting edge
whatsoever, because Explosion's special ability is, surprisingly enough, to
explode on contact. It is hard to use, because, while the wielder is
shielded from the brunt of the blast, causing too many explosions will wear
on the user's body, making wounds appear seemingly out of nowhere. A
powerful sword, but risky to use. There is one way to counter this effect...

Description : A straight blade with a curving handle, one of the few
with a handguard. It favors a light blue color scheme. The blade's ability
makes the wielder incredibly light, granting incredible speeds to the
wielder, but leaving almost no power behind their attacks. In addition, they
are easy to throw around if you get a hold of them. The blade moves so
fast that it can create a cutting edge of wind about it with proper technique.

Description : A very strange looking sword with a stranger power. It
cannot cut anything physical, but it cuts through anything without tangible
form, such as lightning, fire, smoke, and water. It is the most defensive of
the 10 Commandments, having no damaging qualities at all. It has a
second, more powerful ability, but Hikaru has to improve his Resonance
with the weapon to unlock it.

Bloodline

Name: Shinka Surubuki (進化する武器, lit. Evolving Weapon)

Effects: Shinka Surubuki, in essentials, enables the user to summon a weapon that is a manifestation of their soul's personality and power. The manner in which the weapon is summoned varies between practitioners, for example, Hikaru Nakatsukasa, who has 10 different weapon forms, summons them with flurries of multicolored, shining panels, while his brother, Kisuke's weapon flies in from somewhere out of sight.

Each user has skill in each weapon form, tracked with the same rank as a jutsu. It starts as a rank "D", and can be trained for in the same way as jutsu. The higher leveled their skill, the more adept they are at wielding it and the more powerful its special ability.

Each weapon has a special power, and each weapon has a "special attack" called Kyomei (共鳴, lit. Resonance). The Kyomei is can be trained up to one rank higher then the practitioner's skill with the weapon being used.

Stages: Stages vary between the different practitioners by how many forms their weapon takes, but generally, 3-6 are expected. Some exceptions may be as low as 1 form or as high as 10. To gain another stage, all of the weapons must be at B Rank or half of them must be at A Rank. No, two B Ranks do not constitute one A rank.

There is one, all holy skill called Tamashi no Yugo (魂の融合, lit. Fusion of the Soul) that takes a page out of Smith of the Gods book and fuses the soul and the weapon together, temporarily, lending the user the ability to unlock the full potential of their weapon forms and grant them a state of permanent resonance for five of their posts. To learn it, the practitioner must first perfect their weapon skills and their Resonances to "S" rank, then they must learn the actual skill. It is a "SS" ranked technique and takes 5000 words to learn. After it is used, the practitioner falls unconscious, and if they were low on chakra when activating the technique, they will die if they are not healed soon after.
