The Doctor nodded. " We'll do both. I can set the TARDIS to analyze a sample while we try to find someone who may know something. Though at the same time both will take a while." Katrina piped up. " I'd say the people would know more about how this all started so it can't be too hard."

Drean shook his head. Right now, I would guess that we're surrounded by a sea of red goo. It's easy for a living computer to reprogram a large number of them at once, but the change is going to take time for the rest. I would doubt that there is a single living organism out there! In fact, we're probably the only living organisms within a five mile radius!
With almost comedic timing, Drean was cut off by a knocking on the door.

A dragon in need of a place to hide from this man-eating goo! A strained voice cried for outside.
Drean shook his head for a moment. I remember that! I thought that the dragon was just a corrupted memory file.. The nanites looked like they were after him when they first showed up!

The Doctor opened the door and let the dragon in. Katrina looked at the newcomer. He wasn't all dragon he looked humanoid.
