Hmmmm... Interesting... I've never done it that way. I've always gotten some mime materia and one master summon materia. Cast Knights of Round and then mimed it. I guess I'll have to try that one of these days just to see if it works... *Runs off to Play FFVII*

i was new when i fought emerald and died within minutes. try going to beserk mode on emerald it just might work ninja

I tried this...and failed...MISERABLY. But later I ended up beating EMERALD with 20 sec. to spare, later I beat Ruby, surprisingly, EMERALD was tougher, which confused me.

ive done this b4, but not with barret, i had done it with cloud same technique, but with lvl 4 omnislash limitbreak. Don't get me wrong, emerald weapon is (to me) the hardest fight in the game. The first times i had beaten him it took me awhile, but once i tried the omnislash trick, it does work and you can mime your own limits. Some times its also best to have the second party member to caste haste on your miming char while casting slow on himself. Thas how i did it at least.

Well for me to be able to do that, I would have to get Barret past lvl 1 limit breaks. And get him higher than 15.
