Personality: Hisui is a really calm guy. He can be somewhat arrogant but is very smart. He is very reliable.
Biography: Hisui grew up in a rundown village similar to Kusajishi. His mother had died after he was born so it was just him and his father. He led a poor life, having to steal food and money from people just to get by. From the time he turned 6 he new how to handle a sword to some extent, seeing as how his father used to train people in the art of swordplay. He found it fascinating and tried to become better than his father. At the age of 14 he was able to equal his father pretty much. Hisui learned things extremely fast. He sparred with his father almost everyday. They had a tight relationship. Seeing as how they were still poor, he and his father entered a sword fighting contest. The prize money was 10,000 Ryo.Hisui fought hard but was eliminated in the semi finals. He suffered broken ribs and his shoulder was cut badly. His father however made it to the finals. After a long fought battle he won, gaining the money they so desperately needed. After tending to Hisui's wounds they left and went home. While sleeping Hisui heard some noises outside which woke him up. He got up quickly and as he approached he heard what sounded like sword fighting. He ran outside only to see his bleeding father battling with 3 men. Hisui was shocked and ran to go get his sword. By the time he came back his father was on the ground, with a sword in his back. Hisui wasn't shocked nor was he sad. He didn't know how to feel but he still fought. Try as he might to beat the men he suffered the same fate as his father. He died from blood loss. Upon entering the soul society he was admitted into the shinigami academy.

Similar to Ichigo's Getsuga TenshÅ, Mikazuki absorbs Hisui's spiritual pressure and releases a large wave of reiatsu which can split into multiple waves (up to 5 at once) of concentrated energy in crescent moon shape at the opponent. They explode upon impact and can be deadly if hit with full contact. The strength also varies depending on how much spiritual pressure he inputs.
