So, the hit Musical is now a Tony winner, with a national tour planned for 2012.
I've already got the soundtrack, and I'm just going to call it as I see it- This is probably the most powerful, pro faith musical there is. I haven't seen it, but I've listened to the soundtrack time and time again.
Of course, it's written by Matt Stone and Trey Parker, who already touched on the subject of Mormons in an episode of South Park, one that managed to get the audience to laugh at them for 20 minutes, and in the last minute turned the tables on the audience and made them feel like jackasses for laughing. So there was never any doubt that this would manage to mock faith while also show a reverence for it.
The story is about two mormon missionaries who get into more than they bargained for when they go out on their first Mission into Uganda.

I've been hearing a lot about this musical. I'm going to have to see it some time or at least look up some of the songs on youtube.

Got spoilers if your worried about it, but unless your seeing it soon, listening to the Album for the story is the best you can do.... "Spooky Mormon Hell Dream" is another great one.

Just keep in mind that its satirical. while it may have some things right with the Mormon faith, its bound to have gross errors as well. I have not seen it, but I have seen the south park episode as well as a few others. Like many religions, we get misunderstood, and often, confused with another.
