If you had a pass to go anywhere in the world for a whole month. Everything that you need to live very nicely is yours. The only price for your trip is that you have work on something to help envionment. It can be anything that you want to do. The choice is up to you.
Where would you go?
What would you do?

First of all this thread is the greatest idea ever! I love it! biggrin
For me its a tough choice between Fukushima, Japan; Gulf of Mexico (BP Oil Spill); Sarnia Valley, Ontario ("chemical valley"); Peru; Argentia; Ecuador (latin american rainforests); Iceland (melting of polar ice caps, geological/volcanic issues); or somewhere to work in helping the rainforests in Africa. It's hard to choose only one. I mean there are tons more other choices out there too! xD

Greece is first on my list. Then Italy, New Zealand, and Scotland.
I would go hiking, explore the cities, and eat lots of food! In Greece I would definately go see the temples and ancient ruins.

It is a working trip remember. You need to pick not just a place to work, but something to work on that helps the envionment. Okay. wink

I have been actually considering working in New Zealand after I graduate. I could do hydrogeology work in any of these places. 3nodding

Alaska I heard that some of the streams were not cleaned after that oil spill from years ago! The old river mining tools could be fitted with soap baths. 4laugh It could be a good way to reuse all that old stuff. I would have some of the area's water plants & fish eggs to help recharge the stream's envionment. whee

For a long time I have wanted to go to Costa Rica.
Now I am planning on going to Costa Rica in the spring for 9 days. I will be studying a reef, parts of the rainforest, and parts of the mountain range there.
