Alright, so here are some ideas that I've been tossing around in my head. They're two teams with two different strategies. They'll mostly be used for fighting against friends, but eventually I'd like to fine-tune them for competitive battling (which is a LONG way's away). Feel free to ask questions, give advice, suggest something else entirely, or ask for art. I do that sometimes.

Alright, here we go:

N.W. (Nameless Wonder) (No Weakness)
Sableye (no item)
Brave
Compound Eyes
252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 Satk or Sdef
Toxic
Double Team
Shadow Claw / Faint Attack
Low Sweep / Foul Play
Sableye is there to give the opponent a taste of what the team has in store: no exploitable type weakness. Toxic is for annoyance and DT for surviving a little longer. The last two I meant to have for STAB or for type coverage, so they can be changed to pretty much anything.

Bronzong (Occa Berry)
Sassy
Levitate
252 Def / 252 Sdef / 4 Atk
Light Screen
Trick Room / Stealth Rock
Rest
Zen Headbutt
Bronzong seems very interesting to me, so I wanted to try either having it set up a Trick Room for my rather slow team or be some kind of special tank. LS for surviving fire moves after that occa berry is used up, Rest for healing, ZH for STAB, and Trick Room / Stealth Rock for whatever I end up choosing to do.

Spiritomb (no item)
Quiet
Pressure
252 Def / 252 Sdef / 4 Satk
Nasty Plot
Dark Pulse
Shadow Ball
Double Team / Toxic
Spiritomb wouldn't be like a heavy-hitter or anything, but I definitely want it to be on the offensive. The EVs are so it can take hits better. NP is to boost its stats, and DP and SB are there for type coverage & STAB. Double Team would be for surviving a little longer, but Toxic could persuade my opponent to switch out. Can't decide which to use.

Drapion (Black Sludge)
Adamant
Battle Armor
252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 Sdef
Toxic Spikes
Ice Fang
Crunch
Cross Poison
I saw Drapion as my main attacker / sweeper / whatever the lingo is. Toxic Spikes are obvious, Ice Fang is for type coverage (my opponent may or may not love dragons), Crunch and Cross Poison are for STAB.

Palkia (Lustrous Orb)
(forgot what nature it was)
Pressure
252 Satk / 252 Sdef / 4 Def
Spacial Rend
Aura Sphere
Ice Beam
Earthquake
Palkia was there for intimidation, but also to fight anything super strong that my other pokemon couldn't handle. SR for STAB and dragons, AS for never missing, Ice Beam for dragons, and EQ for being awesome.

Eelektross (Magnet)
(can't think of one yet)
Levitate
252 Atk / 124 Def / 128 Sdef / 4 HP
Volt Switch
Toxic
Crunch
Thunder Wave / Coil
Eelektross was also going to be an attacker, but I can't really think of any good moves for it. Volt Switch for STAB and escaping when in danger, Toxic for annoyance, Crunch for being physical, and Thunder Wave or Coil depending on what I want to do with Elecky. The TW seems pointless with Toxic there though.

SAMAEL (Poison of God)
Mostly unfinished team; it's gonna be based on poison though. Feel free to suggest interesting stuff for this.

Scolipede (Rocky Helmet)
Jolly + Poison Point
252 Spd / 124 Def / 132 Sdef
Baton Pass
Agility
Swords Dance
Rock Slide

Toxicroak (Black Sludge)
(no nature, ability, EVs)
Poison Jab
Drain Punch
Sucker Punch
---

Drapion ( - )
(no nature, ability, EVs)
-
-
-
-

Crobat ( - )
(no nature, ability, EVs)
-
-
-
-

Gengar (Life Orb)
Modest + Levitate
4 HP/ 252 SAtk / 252 Speed
Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Focus Blast
Pain Split

Nidoking ( - )
(no nature, ability, EVs)
Stealth Rock
Toxic Spikes
-
-

Yeah, Samael is mostly unfinished. I'm still doing research on what Poison types can DO exactly. Also for this team, it doesn't have to be all poison-types, as long as poison is the main focus. Feel free to suggest any pokemon that would support the team in any way.

Alright, have at it guys. *puts up shield*

Poison is the flareon of typing razz it is a terrible stab so avoid it is an attacking move. Scolipede's evs are over 510 and on eelektross move 2 evs from spdef to def or vis versa since evs work on the basis of 4 evs equal one stat and 126 is not divisable by for so you are not losing anything when you move 2 across but you will gain one on the other stat. Just switch it all two hp since 252hp = 252 def + 252 spdef (or just about) This applies to most of your team. Hope this helps even tho it is more technicalities rather than changing the team :/

Thanks for the EV corrections; seems I forgot how to do math today sweatdrop

As for poison being the Flareon of typing, that's part of the reason I want to make a team based on it. The average opponent won't really see it coming, and will probably think to use easily predictable moves to wipe them out.

Or something like that...anyway, thanks for the advice. 3nodding

Like Dust Elemental said, EV placement is just a bit out of whack, placing 252 in HP serves better than splitting EV's into the defenses, it also allows you to maximize bulk in one of the defenses, giving you better walling capabilities against a sweeper (most tend to lean either between the physical or special)
also playing against your friends Double team may be allowed, but once you decide to competitively battle, any Evasion increasing move is banned

Sableye

not really familiar with the it, but it's lack of weaknesses doesn't overcome it's low base stats IMO, the only sets i can really think of, are a toxi-trapper, or a sucker taunter, both of which can be done by better pokemon, but if you like using Sableye don't let me stop ya biggrin

Toxi-Trapper:
Sableye@Leftovers
Impish
Keen Eye/Prankster (this is a Dream World Ability, and i don't know if it's legally available yet)
252HP/4Atk/252Def
Toxic
Mean Look
Recover
Protect
(Complete taunt bait, but if you can trap a wall you should be able to take it out)

Sucker Taunter
Sableye@Life Orb
Adamant
Keen Eye/Prankster
252HP/252Atk/4Def
Taunt
Sucker Punch
Recover
Low Sweep

Bronzong

Unless you plan on running a dedicated trick room team just deciding to throw Trick Room out if it suits you won't help you much, once those 4 turns are up (using trick room counts as one turn), and Bronzong is gone, all your pokemon who take advantage of TR end up getting outsped, you usually need at least 2 Trick Roomers for it to be effective, though if you wanted to run a dual screens set that could work for your team a lot better

something like this
Bronzong@Light Clay
Sassy
Levitate
252HP/4Atk/252Sp Def
(0 speed IV)
Light Screen
Reflect
GyroBall
Rest/Stealth Rock/Toxic

Light Clay will allow your dual screens to last 8 turns, the EV spread maximizes your bulk to take special hits, Gyroball is Bronzong's best attacking move, usually getting over 100 in base attack before stab (if your speed IV is around 0) The last move slot depends on what you want to do

Spiritomb

Another pkmn i'm not too familiar with, though running both shadow ball and dark pulse is a little redundant, since they hit the same things for super effective, i might suggest running a physically defensive nature, like Impish, and giving it an EV spread of 252HP/144Def/116Sp Def or splitting the last 116 among Sp Def and Sp Atk however you want, if you drop Nasty plot for Calm mind, you boost both your sp Atk and Sp def 1 stage each, add Will-0-Wisp, and you cut any physical sweepers power in half, giving you 1 spot for an attacking move and another for a recovery move, or 2 attacking moves if you want

Drapion

another pkmn i don't use too often sweatdrop lol, but if you're using him as you're sweeper than having him use toxic spikes wouldn't be too effective, sniper would be a better ability IMO getting a boost if you crit, would help out much more than preventing a Crit,

Drapion@Life Orb/Leftovers
Jolly
Sniper
4HP/252Atk/252Speed
Swords Dance
Night Slash
Ice Fang
EarthQuake

again don't know if this set will work, since i don't normally use Drapion lol

Palkia

this one is uber if you ever decide to use it for competitive play, but drop ice beam since coverage is redundant, replace it with Surf or Hydro Pump, to get the most out of the lustrous orb, and drop earth quake for either Earth Power, or Thunderbolt, whichever you feel you need to have on your team

Elektross

It actually has a great movepool, it's biggest weakness is speed,
you can run a physical set:
@Life orb/Expert Belt
Adamant
4HP/252Atk/252Speed, or if you don't care about its lack of speed, swap the EV's between HP and Speed, to allow you to take a hit
Levitate
Wild Charge
Dragon Claw
Crunch
Brick Break

a special Set
Modest
same ev's except atk goes into sp atk
Levitate
Thunderbolt
Flamethrower
Grass Knot
Charge Beam/Volt Switch

or a Mixed Set
Lonely/Naughty/Mild/Rash
Ev spread:252 in both attacks if you don't care about speed, otherwise, max the attack that the nature boosts, and distribute the rest between the other attack and speed/HP
Thunderbolt
Flamethrower
Dragon Claw
Brick Break

i don't think i'm the greatest at giving suggestions, but i hope i helped nonetheless Good Luck xd

I'll give you a better moveset for a Drapion, effectively using its best Ability: Sniper.

Drapion@Black Sludge
Ability: Sniper
EVs: 252 Atk / 106 Def / 146 Spd
Nature: Adamant
- Cross Poison
- Night Slash
- Earthquake
- Aqua Tail

Cross Poison and Night Slash are your main moves here. Both are physical, both get STAB when used by Drapion, and both have high critical-hit ratios, so you'll get the Sniper boost more often. Aqua Tail is coverage for Ground-types, but you could use Ice Fang for beating down Dragons, too. Earthquake is essential, because, without it, Steel-types would wall you. You shouldn't be too worried about Skarmory, since most run Roost, which makes them vulnerable to Earthquake on the turn they use it, so with good prediction, you could own with this set.

Toxicroak is another Pokemon I've had wonderful experiences with.

Toxicroak@Black Sludge
Ability: Dry Skin / Poison Touch
EVs: 240 HP / 252 Atk / 12 Def
Nature: Jolly
- Swords Dance
- Drain Punch
- Stone Edge
- Sucker Punch

Dry Skin if you're running this on a Rain team, Poison Touch if not. Anyway, this guy annoys the crap out of your opponent. He's bulky enough to set up Swords Dance, gets some recovery with Black Sludge, and the next turn, you hit him with a +2 STAB Drain Punch that recovers your health. Laugh as they switch into a Psychic-type and you slam 'em with a +2 Sucker Punch. Flying-type? +2 Stone Edge. It's quite hard to counter this guy. Of course, if you're running Poison Touch, Drain Punch and Sucker Punch have a 20% chance of Poisoning your opponent, which makes him even more annoyed.

Edit: The Toxicroak set will work wonders if that Scolipede can get Agility and Swords Dance up and then Baton Pass it to Toxicroak.

Thanks for the advice!

No problem, I'll mess around with your team to see if I can come up with anything else.

For your Scolipede, switch Poison Jab with Rock Slide, for coverage. Nature: Jolly. Ability: Poison Point. Item: Rocky Helmet.

No problem, tell me how your team works out. And for Gengar, most people run a Life Orb set. Probably... ThunderBolt, Shadow Ball, Focus Blast, and Pain Split. Nature is Modest of course and EVs are 4 in HP, 252 in Sp. Attack, 252 in Speed. That's just one I've seen while playing Pokemon-Online.
