She paced gracefully through the group, weaving her way through the small circle, movements marked by a fluidity that betrayed a hidden nature. The group was small, but they all were listening eagerly.
"Sirs, you wish to learn of the elements?" Nods of agreements could be seen. "Then you must learn of power. Yes, power Taiso, power," Her hawk like gold brown eyes searched the face of the tall, sunned skinned man, before she moved on. "Power runs through everything. The softest caress of a violin's strings can cause the strongest man to weep. The rough, unrefined blows of a mallet on a drum compels the feet to move, no? And the power of languidly spoken words, dropped by the purposeful movement of a lover's scarlet lips, can hold charm over the man who hears them," Here she paused, in front of a long, black haired man with emerald eyes. Her mouth twitched slightly, humoring him, and her lips hinted a smile before she moved on, the message being conceived by others in the group, causing eyebrows to be raised.
"Passion, pain, pleasure, desire," Her words were purred, and her eyes kept flicking lazily to the man with black hair, not unnoticed by the rest of the company.
"Fienna, why do you keep talking about passions, desires of the body and heart?" A sandy haired man asked, and Fienna's eyes darted to him, and she strode delicately towards him.
"Anger, irritation, rage," She said, a hiss at the end of her words, and she paused for a moment, before whipping around and stalking off in her usual placings. The Sandy Haired man's brown eyes looked over nervously to one of his companions.
"There are many forms of power, as you can see, based on the most primitive feelings felt by any being. Go and study them," Fienna said, and watched as all but one of the men left the vast gazebo. She let a small grin develop on her face as she studied the black haired man. She soon frowned though, seeing through him, and to his true intentions.
"You only love my power," She said simply. The man's eyes clouded with fury and he stormed off, after taking a step forwards. Fienna sighed and raked a hand through her fiery hair.
It was not the first time she had seen through the shallow hearts of man, and it was not the first time that she had been burned by it.
