Hey guys! I'll be hosting the Spriting Contest this year since Rath is occupied with hosting the FETO Tournament. He did a fabulous job running it and I'm hoping to keep the fabulosity level equally high if possible. SO JOIN THE CONTEST TO MAKE IT A SUCCESS mrgreen

To promote having as many participants partake in the same contest, there will only be one category this year. This way, people interested in the spriting contest can put all their efforts into one spriting contest rather than potentially dividing it between two similar contests (and have more time to make entries for other contests as well, if they like). And it'll be a mug-spriting contest due to the recent influx of new members who happen to have skills in this area.

THEME
The theme for this year's Guildaversary Spriting Contest is: Reinvent a Canon Character!

FEFabulous, right? People have been reinventing their OCs images as of late, so I thought, 'wouldn't it be exciting to try to reinvent a Canon characters image?' Re-imagine them as if you were doing a reboot for the FE series, so to speak (the way Marth has had his image reinvented numerous times between his appearance in the anime, his original game, the DS games, etc...). Maybe Lucius has short hair and snazier robes? Or maybe Nergal has a different scar location (perhaps he doesn't hide it), has brown hair, and doesn't wear a turban? Maybe Dart has gorgeous hair? The possibilities are endless!

RULES
-Entries must be of preexisting canon-FE characters and identified by name. So anyone from FE1-12 (that's a huge selection). Send me a PM with your entry.
-Entry fee of 500 gold (all entry fees go towards the main prize, so the more people who enter, the better the reward). Send it to me in a trade when you send your entry. The prize will include more than the sum of entries, also (we'll start with setting it at 10k)
-There need to be 5 or more participants for there to be a prize for second place. 8 or more for a prize for third place.
-The deadline for entries is July 1st. But it may change if doing so seems necessary or appropriate.
