One: You are requested to draw a redesign of a Fire Emblem character. This is preferably an original character, as there are plenty around here, but if you want to draw a canon character, please contact this account and ask about it before you start working! I'd hate to see your work amount to nothing, because that's less time you'd spend drawing me.

RULE TWO. You must draw a character other than one of your own. I cannot stress this enough. If you give me an entry of one of your own character, then you will be immediately invalidated! If you happen to be that unlucky or oblivious and don't have another entry in on time, I'll return your entry fee, but really, just do yourself a favor and redesign someone else's character to begin with. The point is to foster friendship! And this way possibly overlooked people get some time in the sun. You are also free to redesign any character that has already gotten a redesign. They aren't automatically un-included.

Three: Please do yourselves a favor and ask if the character's controller is cool with you doing this! If you're doing a gag entry, you might want to make sure their sense of humor is up to it.

Four: Color is highly looked upon. You don't have to shade if you don't want to, but at least flat colors are preferred in order to give a better impression of what this design looks like.

Five: The voting period will begin July 4th, which means all entries must be received by July 4th. [By which I mean before July 4th becomes July 5th, in regards to Central Standard Time.] Just do what you think is best and what won't lead to you frantically scrambling to get out a half-finished product that doesn't even work well with the art contest theme, that picture wasn't even ******** romantic, it--

Lastly, Six: Make sure your entry is PG-13 at worst. No porn, no blatant nudity. Otherwise, anything goes, and use your best judgment. This is supposed to be fun!

The entry fee for this contest will be 500g! Please trade this to Marshmallow Kitty.

FIRST PLACE: 15k
SECOND PLACE: 10k
THIRD PLACE: 5k

Consolation prizes will also be handed out based upon completely random criteria. Everyone that enters will be walking away with something, I promise!
