This is your place. You can do whatever you want. No mod can tell you what to do in your thread, as long as you follow Gaia TOS. Mock Battle, start your own rp, use characters that would never be approved, use characters based in the star wars universe to fight. Whatever. Nothing that happens here effects the actual RP.
That said, you can request a mod to moderate your thread if that is needed.
