The dream world is a functon in black and white, as you know, but is not in the game.
The dream world is on a website affiliated with pokemon.com.
Click the online feature on your C-gear and go online. It will give the directions on what to do after each one is completed.

The pokemon in the dream world have different abilities than normal ones.
