Background Story: X23 was a creation by HYDRA in order to create the perfect living weapon. However, at some point in her teenage years, X23 escaped captivity and proceeded to hunt down Wolverine, feeling vengeful towards him for her very existence and wishing to kill him. Before she got to do this, however, the Multiversal Merge occurred. Initially she wandered, devoid of purpose, until stumbling upon Xavier's Institute while tracking the Wolverine of Earth-616. Since then she has mostly stayed there, going on a successful hit-and-run mission against Internal Operations alongside Ms. Marvel, Superboy, and Rogue. She has also become very attached to Barbara Gordon (Oracle), who had offered to adopt her and give her a real family.
Additional Notes on This Character: This is the original rendition of X23, as the character was initially created for the "X-Men: Evolution" TV series and was later brought into mainstream continuity.
