Finally managed to finish an image for the OMR:

As you can see, I referenced the OMG very heavily, snatching up colours and even tracing important bits like the tail and legs. It's a little hard to see, but his mostly-hidden leg is made of wood (which might be more evident when he walks - if it wouldn't be, that's an easy detail to remove). Also, I only added that tail because that's what normal OMGs use to attack (and stealing the animations for that might be easier), as well as it giving me a nice place to put a hook... sweatdrop

I find it weird that despite all those hat based fake-monsters, we still didn't get anything headcrab-like.
Regardless, interesting concept you got going. I would have made the pegged leg show to us, since it would get the point across better than a cluster of brown pixels.
Is there anything the R stood for anyways? Other than the wordplay?

I agree, the peg leg is probably best as a hind-leg, facing the player. Having it behind the monster like that would be near-invisible, especially with low graphics settings. And I think it's "Oh My Rum" ... unofficially.

Red Kutai Another pirate-themed (though not really Boardwalk-applicable) enemy that occured to me was an Animated figurehead of a sunken ship.

We now know what gets to him.
Time.

.~.Lady_Aji.~. What does the R stand for? It was intended particularly for the "Oh-Em-Arrrrrh!" wordplay; what it actually stands for is debatable (and probably not necessary to decide upon, really), but my only real idea thus far was "Oh My Rum!"... whee
