Sammy had always been an optimist since... fiery creation. Okay so maybe everything started off on an unsettling foot. And sure, his older sister demeaned him, his "imaginary" friend, which he was convinced was instead a reluctant and very dead california beach bum or johnny bravo or something, redefined the word snarky. Nonetheless he was an optimist, and maybe today, he'd finally find someone who wasn't the equivalent of crazy sister, overbearing ghost-guardian or explosive entrance. He'd like someone calm, someone that didn't get him into trouble, someone that maybe hated running... That'd be nice. He'd had enough of running.

There was a slow large grin cracking his dimpled cheeks in half as he toddled over to the nearby play structure. Large golden eyes followed the bits of wood and plastic, took in the colors and he had the overwhelming need to perch at the top of the slide. Somewhere where he could see all perspectives, the entire landscape, and to ensure that older sister was not in near proximity. Chaperones, as if he didn't have enough.

"So you're thinking of climbing to the top of a wooden structure, with all the metal and wooden bits sticking up.... and tempting gravity, which.... I should remind you... still works" the translucent figure stated as he looked over his raybans and up to where Sammy had his eyes sunk to.

"Brilliant.... You're a bright one, you."

"Y'promised t'stay wherevuh y'go when y'ain' botherin' me..." Sammy stated, dead set on his course as he gripped the ladder rungs with both hands, stepping up with taloned feet.
