What i gather it that God is punishing the whole world with this Aids/STD threat thing trying to convince the world that the gay/lesbian movement is wrong.

Please tell me you are joking. I find that insulting, ignorant, and offensive not only to me but also to my faith. But I'll get over it. You know, I had an uncle I loved very much. My mother was adopted and this was her adopted brother as well. He was always had a hoot and some of my fondest memories are with my uncle. He tried to "control" his gayness by marrying. He ended up getting a brain tumor. He got it removed and seemed to be doing fine. So we were shocked when we found out he was found dead in his home. We did not find out till AFTER he was dead that he had AIDS and was gay. To say something like you just said is just insulting to his memory and shows a lot on your part, not favorable. By that argument, is PPD (post partum depression) God's punishment on pregnant women? Is PSD (post tramutic stress disorder) God's punishment on soldiers?

You have no right to judge or say such things. Even your religion says so. Take a few minutes and read your damn Bible before you try to make unfounded and uneducated statements. Statements some equally uneducated adult in your life undoubtedly spouts all the time as 'truth.'
It's attitudes like these that make the world such a dangerous and hateful place today: thanks for contributing. Hope you're really proud.
Now back onto the topic rather then responding to the bigotted remark *COUGH*...
That's really very scary, Vermatitis. Do you have the source where you got that from? Viruses and bacteria mutate all the time and this is a reminder of it.

I'm Not gunna rant or hate on those who would defend them, But if you read in the Bible (if any one has) the story of Sodom and Gamorrah(sp?) God rained down fire and brimstone because the homosexual sin. Ninevah was the same way, but they repented and were spared. God Hates Homosexuals, gays and Lesbians and the like.
If God punished them before, what is to keep him from doing it now?
No, They are not simply born that way. Look back to the 60-70's. The general consensus then was that Homosexuality is wrong but people began to just start ignoring the movement. In the 90's to present, Everyone is now saying, oh well they are just born like that, and its not their fault. And we should just accept them for who they are. BULL CRAP!
Whats difference now then 30-40 years ago? The movement has grown, thats all. And they fill these so called "churches" with all this crap about, "oh, we just need to accept them"
Same sex attraction is caused by rejection of morals. Just wait, as more people start to say that marriage deosn't has to be just a man and a woman, The Polygamists(sp?) will then begin to say... "Well who are you to say that they are better than us? Who says it has to be just two? why not one man, and 3 women?
Just wait and see...

Agreed, it was very innapropriate for that to be said
