Janeyes hung suspended in the central cabin of the ship she called home. She'd left the planet below a few days before and had maintained a low orbit, just needing a little time to herself and to luxuriate in the feel of zero gee. She loved zero gee, and like all of her race the lack of gravity didn't bother her. In all her life she'd never heard of a Phenian who'd suffer ill effects from either gravity or heights, but then for a race who could fly it would have been odd. She turned slowly floating upside down her long hair bound back tightly to keep it from being an obstacle.

An alarm going off in the cockpit made her open one eye and reorient herself more of less right side up, then pushed off a back wall and floated towards the cockpit and turned it off. She settled herself in her chair and turned the gravity back on, then set in the coordinates back to the ground. It was high time she returned to the ground, and to him. She smiled a bit to herself then got up and when to change out of the jumpsuit she'd worn while in space into something nicer. She liked to make good impressions, even when she didn't have to. She pressed button on her wrist unit and sent off a ping to the unit she'd given him. With any luck he'd be waiting for her at the clearing where she kept her ship when it landed.
