As soon as the boy took the coat, the coat vanished as well, the boy having wrapped himself in it. He reached out to take Quinn's hand again, and continued to follow him anywhere he went.
Ari came out from the closet, sitting on the kitchen counter, and watching Jaella as she moved about. She had LOTS of shinies on her, but he didn't feel like being scolded again, so he left her be. However...
"Riii..." he said, sadly. "Riri ariri... ariaririri...."

Jaella frowned a little; aww, the poor little guy looked so sad! "What's wrong, little fella?" she asked, hugging the sad little shadow. Hugs made everything better; that was just a fact of life as far as the teen was concerned. She then pulled back, reaching a hand into her pocket and fumbling through it's contents. "Here!" she said, grinning and holding out a small, silver-wrapped piece of chocolate. "This will help you cheer up."
Now that that was taken care of, Quinn made his way over to stand by his brother's side, eyes still locked on the ground and ears blocking out the adults' conversation.

Ari took the chocolate, and munched on it, still a little sad. He kept looking back toward Kiri, and then back at Jaella.
"Riirii.... " he said sadly, sniffling a little, and started to cry big, golden tears, that slid down his face. "Riirii... ariri..."
"You know...." Kiri said, thoughtfully, sitting down on one of the couches. "You look like a nice and upstanding guy. I was wondering - well, more of pondering really... if you had any experience at all with carpentry? You know, building things, taking them down. Of course, with ample materials and the like available already. And full access to the facility for... various things."
He motioned, and an android came by with two glasses of fresh-squeezed sweet-lemonade. "Lemonade? Fresh made... oh, and ice and such."
Quinn's android squeezed his hand a bit, and got a little closer, curious eyes looking up at the grownups, who weren't paying attention. He kept looking around, as if searching for something. Kept tugged at Quinn's hand as he did look around...

Jaella's eyes widened as the little guy started crying, her smile fading. "Hey, hey now, it's okay..." The girl wrapped her arms around the little shadow, giving him a hug in an attempt to cheer him up. "Shh...it'll be okay. Don't cry."
"Thank you, sir." Aaron said, pausing a moment to ponder Kiri's question. "I don't have any formal training. I've done a few repairs around our home, but that's about it. Why do you ask?" He accepted the lemonade with a small nod. "Thank you for the lemonade." he said softly, offering another nod of thanks.
Quinn blinked, looking at the the other boy and tilting his head, a silent gesture woven into the simple gesture. What was it? What was he looking for?
