We all know that with SuWriMos comes type-os, and let's face it, some of them are down right hilarious. So come share the hilarity of what you at least tried to write. So have at 'er! I'll even start you off.

Anyway, this one is not recent (as I haven't had enough time to get any good ones going yet), but this is my most famous type-o, which occurred during my 2007 SuWriMos. To this day, I still don't know what I was trying to say.

That's hilarious. XD

If I've made any yet I haven't found them. But in a conversation with Da Flea last night I made me type-os and silly mistakes than ever. >___>

I haven't noticed any for SuWriMo yet, but I still laugh when I think about the two I made last NaNo:

Quote:
He sat down and took a drink of the couch

(Made me imagine an inflatable couch filled with beer, which is what he was supposed to be drinking. biggrin The beer, not the couch.)

Quote:
Emily reflexively grabbed the c**k

COFFEE CUP. She reflexively grabbed the coffee cup. At breakfast with her mother. gonk

That is hilarious. xDDD I'll remember that when I go to grab my coffee cup in the morning, I'm sure.

I don't know if I've made any mistakes yet (I've forbidden myself from re-reading until I'm done.). I've been mostly writing between midnight and two in the morning, so I probably have.

Last night something strange happened. I assume I fell asleep on my keyboard, because I don't remember how I got to bed, but I woke up to, "See seed deep." Was I so tired that I thought that made sense? Or was it a VERY lucky face-plant so that I ended up making words? ...What did I think I was doing? gonk

The most amazing part is that I got the character's name perfect. Maybe I wrote her name before I fell asleep? Or maybe I was just so used to typing it that muscle memory took over?

That's hilarious. I have yet to have a lucky faceplant.

Muscle memory might have taken over, though, because I learned last weekend that I can still write with flawless grammar while inebriated. The dialogue that I wrote made little sense, but the spelling and grammar were perfect, haha.

This doesn't really count as a suwrimoism I suppose, but I'll share. My spacebar has stopped working. Unless I hit it hard in the very middle, all my writing comes out like this:

Thecivilizationofmodernman was destroyed by themagic of ancienttimes. Decadesaftert the devastating witch wars that haddestroyedmuchofeuropeand asia, the strugglefor power stillraged.

Needless to say, that doesn't helpmy word count.

....This thread has been dead for about a year, but here's my attempt to revive it. I love reading about everyone's SuWriMoisms.

I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I've been doing a lot of writing in the living room or kitchen while my housemates are chattering, so I've been doing a lot of "conversation transplants" as I call them, where I type what I'm hearing and not what I'm thinking.

Anyone have any good ones so far this year?

This one actually changed the course of my story. It's not a SuWriMo, but it's funny.
I was writing a dialogue between two characters that hate each other. The guy was trying to tell the girl something she didn't believe. So she thinks 'You're kidding me, right?"
I sent it to my beta and she almost died laughing. She asked me when I decided to make the pair a couple, and I told her 'What? No! They'll never be together!'
She asked 'Then why is she thinking 'Are you kissing me?'
Ooops. In the end, just because of that, I made them a couple, which wasn't easy, but in memory of that typo, I just had to.
I'm not sure if this will be funny to anyone else besides my beta and I but it's worth a try. biggrin

I like that one! And keeping the change to the story is a nice way of commemorating it, haha.

Not a phenomenal one, but a little bit amusing.

Quote:
He pulled her from her feetses and ...

Clearly someone isn't thinking too clearly after a long day in the sun. Feetses, really?

And this one...

Quote:
Her wrists stranged against the ropes ...

I meant to say "strained" there.

And the last one for today...

Quote:
He balanced the knife in her hands ...

Apparently my villain is hiring gender-confused henchpeople. Hmm... Maybe I'll rethink this character a bit, and he'll really be a cross-dressing woman...

Today my boyfriend highjacked my computer. This is what happened.

... Nice.

Not quite a SuWriMoism, but still it amused me (for all of a minute X3).

I just got a chapter back from my beta and found this one-it's a fanfiction but I'm on the phone with my friend and going through what my beta said and all of sudden I go 'he splutted' wth? And we both cracked up.
I meant 'he spluttered' but I guess I was tired.......... crying
