~waves~ A humble suggestion from a newbie....
.... Who went ballistic and opened all of the subforums trying to figure out how on earth the RP around here actually worked.
.... RP Guide, put in an obvious spot? Please? (I think this is going to be included in the Newbie guide, and the little bit there that you do have was helpful, I'm gong to throw out some suggestions here that are probably obvious for it anyway.)
Needs to include:
* Link to Stats Rolling (and maybe an update in that... HoA Herds? Is that still a valid mule? Did I send my PM to the right place? Simply linking to a PM for that might be better, as I'm not sure where to even find this mule within the guild or thread, I had to search for him in the Gaia function to even find his existence.)
* Reason why we're doing stats rolling (I have a vague idea right now, something about participating in RP, then we can get stats up, but... Uhm, seriously, in what instances do we need stats??)
* Maybe a RP Log of Metaplots that have occurred with a brief description and their importance (a short sentence would do!). I would assume this would, by their very nature, provide the RP examples for stat rolling needs.
* Link to the overall history thread
* Perhaps a link to the most gracious King's journal for a bit of who-is-who knowledge.
* Link to explanation about the Herds
* Helpful point out of the Chosen subforum
The RP is spread all over the place in this guild, and I wouldn't have even clued in on that fact if I hadn't been looking in journals for how to fit in and not commit some horrible social crime. And, honestly, from there things just became more spread and more jumbled and more confusing to try to find. It was a fun easter egg search today, but it's the rare day that I have the patience, time, or concentration to manage it. <3

My Suggestion: Add "Newbie Guide" along with the "Directory" link? Newbie Guide isn't in the directory, so it's needed.
Unless the King is crafty (as I would be in this situation) and prefers to see if newblets will actually look into the directory to get the more helpful link, I would suggest adding the hairstyle breakdown link into the forum, but of course with the note that the King is King and reserves the right to change styles if it is contrary to the requested colorings and markings.
Also, I am fairly sure I'm exceptionally ignorant in these matters, but when I think of "temper", for some reason I don't translate this into "one-word personality for personality sheet." I translate it into "the colorist wants to know what the basic temperament of the horse will be to help inspiration for coloring." It's probably both, but I know I asked for that clarification, others might also.
Your Link DirectoryPraises First! I think I would have given up entirely if it wasn't for this one. The moment I realized it existed, this shop suddenly became brighter, better, and more worthy to hang out in. I love this sort of thoughtful organization.
My Suggestions: I'm going to nitpick on the organization part. It seems to me that "Taken Cosplays" should be last on the list of customs. If I don't want a cosplay, I glaze over this and, unfortunately, what is immediately underneath it....
which is only one of the most useful links in the whole directory! The custom hair thing is awesome, and makes this shop unique, definitely should be placed directly under the 'customs information' link.
Along the same token, I'd definitely put the "Newbie Guide" link on this, and perhaps very close to the "Newbie Customs" link.
Where are all the links to the RP things? (Please!)
But finally, another last word of praise, I LOVE the calendar ya'll have on the first post of the thread in the B/C shops. <3 And how head-spinning friendly ya'll were to me. I really am looking forward to being a part of this shop and contributing in whatever way I can!
