Hey everyone,
Not to offend anyone, but I just I have a question to ask and I need all of your opinions on it. Me, being a young, mixed, African American male (17) I live around mostly Black, Asian, and Hispanic races, they're are some Caucasians, but most live further. Theres something I've realized. I live in New York, and there tends to be some really uneducated people and they mostly occur in the Hispanic, Black community...and I remember watching something not to long ago about the government and their secrets. It was something about how they put most minorities in ghetto's on purpose! I find it completely horrible.
Another method which the government uses to keep racism and segregation running is the use of holidays and months. For example, Black History Month, Womens History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Asian Pacific Heritage Month, and Native American Heritage Month is not only used to "show the changes" of other races but to subconsciously keep a reminder tag on racism. Kind of making it impossible to forget. It's a shame to know that the very people who run our world are twisted people. All I can do now is only hope for the best. Because right now, I want to fight back. What are your thoughts on this, and do you have any more to add?

It's rediculous that we as Americans think that our 400 years of slavery and our hundred years of segregation could be taken out of culture that easy. We are not free from racism, we are in denial of it. And I'm not talking about racism as the occasional black joke. No. I'm talking about the subtle racism we swept under the rug. The racism that puts blacks at a disadvantage.

I know in texas racism is strong. It's not KKK type it's because hispanics basicaly rule the popuation so naturaly everyone is called a rasict term at least once in school, the funny part because its by the smallest minority...caucasians rofl ... If ppl told their kids they're all different this probably wouldn't happen

I'm the not the typical black person who always talks about slavery and says, " WE WENT THROUGH THIS, AND THAT..." because there's racism to others all over the country to white, black, asians, indians, jews. Everyone! We aren't the only one's who've suffered and to be quite honest, we just need to let it go and make a change for ourselves. Its not just going to come to the door wrapped up in a present. But I know the government will possibly try their hardest to prevent that from happening. They've been doing such a good job. miss crazy girl101 I know in texas racism is strong. But people always have a thing to say about "Dating someone with a darker skin tone is...unacceptable" or "Mingling with an asian isn't cool" Its all brainwashing foolishness. I dont think I believe that keeping minorities in the ghetto thing because I was born (and sadly am still living in) a terrible part of down with mostly white people and its like...trailer parks and section 8 housing apartment complexes.
I live in Georgia.
Also, to comment on the different history month things. When I was in high school we had an African- American counselor who wanted to get rid of recognizing those holidays and in February create "Celebrate Diversity Month" A representative from the NAACP came and shut that s**t down fast.
I was chosen to give a speech too sad

But you have to admit, there is such a thing is a Reverse Racist; someone who treats any race better then others. Most reverse racists are, in essence, people who are afraid of being labelled Racist by any racial minority. Not to mention the massive amount of black people who are racist towards Caucasians for no good reason other then they can get away with it, sure some do have reason to do so, maybe they were abused by Caucasians as children but many just use racism as a tool... Btw, while we are all here. Negroid is a scientific term, while it's bastardisations may have been invented as insults, this word is only an insult if you choose to make it so... Am I insulted when someone calls me Caucasiod? No.

But, I do have to say, I think one of the WORST things that deal with racism that has happened in history in my opinion; is the holocaust. So I can't say sh*t about slavery. They were killed just for being who they were.

Has anyone noticed most prisoners in jail are black and hispainc,who are mainly in there for Drug charges?

What I've seen going on is a reverse racism... And regular racism mixed in. Some people hate other races (which I find pointless) and other people promote other races far above whites to make up for everything. Nowadays, it's actually harder for whites to get certain jobs and scholarships, which is making whites hate blacks more. It's an endless cycle, where anti-racism is actually promoting racism, and I hate it. I just want everyone to be treated equally, because nobody chose who they were born to.
