The sea breeze was calming after such a strange storm. Zane yawned as he leaned against the side of the ship; the Flying Valkyrie. They had been traveling for a month since they parted ways with the Mountain of a man Agni and his crew. Which meant they no longer had a navigator, and their ship was limping along. Webb reassured them they would be able to make it to Water 7. They would have to part ways with their ship before too long. So, they all decided to have one last party on the ship. Stay up until dawn, appreciating their ship and all it did for them. Zane, however was not participating. He needed to relieve his brother soon. Shamius needed to rest, he was up there all day. Yawning once more, Zane glanced up at the crows nest then sighed before he slowly walked over to make the climb.
In her room, Harbuu was stretched out in a sun patch. Blissfully happy. She had noticed some slight changes, ever since she ate the devil fruit. She loved napping, her sense of smell was stronger and she could hear thing at far distances. She was enjoying the special powers she got as well. And was looking forward to running wild in a forest. Stretching in the sun patch, Harbuu was waiting to hear they were near land. It should be today, if Card was right. Momo had checked the map, so they should be near the island Little Garden. They never have been there before, but they heard rumors. Needing to gain the log pose, this was the closest island on the way to Water 7. Some were annoyed by the pit stop, but Harbuu was curious.
Before long, Zane was calling out. Spotting land. Finally, time to stretch my legs! Harbuu thought as she climbed out her window, making her way to the roof of her cabin. With a deep inhale, Harbuu sensed a rich earthy odor. She nearly purred thinking of the adventure ahead of them. "Keep close to the ship, or go in pairs. Meet back before dusk. This will take all night so keep busy." Harbuu said as she stood. The closer the ship reached land, the stronger the urge to jump off and wander. She knew she would never be able to swim again, but something in her told her she could jump that far. Squatting, she wiggled a moment then lept into the air. The wind swept against her face, a rush of joy within her system while she was flying through the air. She landed with a crouch, then ran into the woods.
Everett sighed watching their captain rush off into the wilds. "I guess that leaves me in charge." He muttered.
