Written in letter form because I suck.

Dear BD,

I'm a little confused as to why you continuously ******** me over when it comes to marching band. You told me at drum major tryouts that if I filled out a section leader application and took it seriously, then there was a very good chance that I would be section leader with K. And so I did what you told me to. I took it home. I wrote truthful thoughtful answers. I checked it. I thought I had everything right. And yet, you still skipped me for R, who bullshitted half of his answers. Why? Why do you keep giving me these high hopes of being something more and then choose other people anyway? I know life isn't fair. I've had enough unfairness for one year. One of my best friends turned into something I hate practically overnight and I was treated like s**t during drumline. So unfairness and I are very well aquinted, thank you. I am going to ask for an explanation as politely as possible on Tuesday. This hurts like hell. I can't stop crying because I don't understand why you always do this to me, why I work my a** off and get nothing while other people who do the same amount or even less get praise and recognition aplenty.

PS: In general, I think that your leadership choices are...buzzard to say the least. Some examples:
- You made Alex section leader when she's done nothing but show how irresponsible she is for the last three years. Plus, Abby does well for herself. She doesn't need help. Plus, there are only going to be a grand total of about five flutes.
-Our DMs are fighting already and the season hasn't even started. Why do we have two seniors again?
-Ra is a bad idea for trumpet section leader. I know she's one of our best players, but she has an ego the size of Alaska. You're pretty much giving her free reign to think that she's queen of everybody.

So yeah. This season is either going to go really well or it's going to crash and burn because of the drama and the power struggles. I hope you prove me wrong.
